Chapter 1913: Chapter 1913 Refining Both Eyes

After a month of purification, Ye Liuyun finally decided to test it out.

The men he brought from the Immortal Realm had stayed in the Xuankong Stone for more than three hundred days. They had long adapted to the God Realm’s environment and often went into the Spatial world to absorb various forces and practice by battling each other. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

But the lowest-level fighters on this foreign race battleground were Corpse Demons or second-level martial practitioners. They had no appropriate training targets.

Therefore, Ye Liuyun bought some first-level feral beasts for them to polish their skills in the Spatial world.

To expedite their advancement, he even refined elixirs that further enhanced their divine soul, as well as physique. Also refining elixirs that solidify their divine souls of the second and third levels.

Then, Ye Liuyun had his clone begin to concentrate on refining.

Since the two eyes were already soaked in the power of Buddha’s Halo, which originated from the same source as Ye Liuyun’s power, the initial refining process was smooth.

Instead of refining a third eye, the clone integrated the two eyes separately into their eyes.

During the entire refining process, the clone first used the Bloodline Power to continuously blend into those two eyes, allowing them to adapt to his aura.

By the time he completely refined these eyes into his body, an additional pair of mysterious pupils, which had been closed, appeared in his Golden Phantom Eyes. The shade of his Golden Phantom Eyes appeared darker, but they looked particularly deep.

With other things, after Ye Liuyun had refined them, some link had been established, and it reciprocated something back to him.

However, the pair of foreign race eyes did not show any reaction at all.

So in the days that followed, the clone spent all his time communicating with the eyes using his divine soul, trying to evoke a reaction from them.

However, when these two eyes finally responded, an unexpected transformation occurred.

These eyes began to merge with his Golden Phantom Eyes. It was unclear whether if the Golden Phantom Eyes were rejecting these two eyes, or the two eyes hadn’t yet adapted to Ye Liuyun’s aura.

In the beginning, the clone only felt some stinging pain in both eyes with tears falling ceaselessly. Subsequently, blood began to trickle down until the clone was unable to open his eyes.

The eyes were the frailest part of a martial practitioner, thus even Ye Liuyun was left without solutions when this happened.

He could only feed the clone some Body-refining Pills and Healing Elixirs to relieve his pain.

However, his clone couldn’t take the pin and fainted.

The clone didn’t have the Universal God Token to remain conscious, but Ye Liuyun still felt the pain as if it were his own, equally experiencing the deeply rooted, piercing pain the clone was going through.

Besides, even after the clone fainted, the eyes were still writhing in pain without stopping.

Ye Liuyun fed the clone some Vital Waters again, and dropped a few drops of it into the clone’s eyes, hoping to relieve the pain.

The clone briefly regained consciousness before passing out again from the pain. This was repeated several times before the agony eventually subsided.

It took him a month for the painful feeling to entirely go away.

During then Ye Liuyun felt that the two eyes had fully fused with his Golden Phantom Eyes. However, his clone had only one eye left.

The colour of his Golden Phantom eyes had returned to normal, with a slightly darker shade than before. Other than that, there weren’t any significant differences.

However, what his clone saw using those eyes differed greatly from before.

He could effortlessly see a person’s Divine Soul and needed to re-adjust the focus while looking at people. Otherwise, everything he saw was composed of white energy particles. It made it difficult for him to differentiate the living from the inanimate. And the world through the eyes was in complete darkness.

The people he saw appeared to be masses of energy as if he were peering through the Elemental Spirit Secret Skill. At this stage, he was unable to distinguish between humans and objects, viewing everything as the same type of energy.

Ye Liuyun then recalled his clone back into the Spatial World, letting it practice to readjust his vision.

Only now that he realised, apart from himself, anyone who looked into the eyes of his clone would feel an inexplicable sense of terror.

Staring any longer would give the impression that even their souls were being drawn in, instilling an unexplainable fear.

As if they were gazing into a bottomless abyss. After a while, the person would feel exhausted, as if their Divine Soul had been drained.

The effect was significant on feral beasts, even if the clone did not reveal his power, a mere glance would scare them enough to turn tail and run.

Upon the clone’s return to the Spatial World, all the Devil Beast there would whimper and cower on the ground at the sight of his eyes, daring not to even glance at him.

Furthermore, now his clone could see through a Demon’s true form.

"This indicates that the eyes have indeed been refined. It did take a few months, but for now, it’s enhanced the functions of the eye. There’s no new invasion power," he thought to himself.

Ye Liuyun and his clone were pondering whether it was due to the lack of time.

"Let’s test it out in a real battle and see the effect," Ye Liuyun thought. In the Spatial world, he didn’t dare let his clone experiment recklessly. If the eye exuded by beam unexpectedly, it would slash through his Spatial World.

Just in time, the residents in the Spatial world had been cultivating within the Xuankong Stone for a few months, with most of them already advanced to the second level. It was time he provided them with some training.

Ye Liuyun immediately returned to the Xuankong Stone, allowing his clone to meet Wu Yongyuan and explain the changes with his eyes.

Wu Yongyuan was quite satisfied, after all, Ye Liuyun’s refining process may not have been successful, but it did not fail either. At least, it didn’t impact his current strength.

"Don’t rush, maybe after adapting for a while, changes will happen again! At least your eyes now can terrify people! Without even taking a swing at opponents, it can consume their Divine Soul."

Wu Yongyuan attempted to console Ye Liuyun.

This time when Ye Liuyun left the town, he didn’t use Phantom Illusion but allowed his clone to swagger out of the town openly.

"Anyone who wants to follow should feel free to do so." Wu Yongyuan had previously told him that he need not be concerned about the safety of these martial practitioners.

Anyone who dared to target him would eventually become his prey.

These people knew that Ye Liuyun had the sixth-level Vermilion Bird. However, in the foreign race battlefield, the Vermilion Bird could only exhibit the power of advanced fifth-level stages at most.

They were a group of advanced fifth-level martial practitioners, gathering together attempting to rob Ye Liuyun.

Everyone knew that Ye Liuyun possessed an enormous wealth. There would always be some people willing to risk it for the resources.

Guan Shanyue warned Ye Liuyun, mentioning that there were quite a few martial practitioners of the intermediate fifth level planning to join hands against Ye Liuyun. However, Ye Liuyun didn’t care at all.

Lei Ming, Dragon Lady, and Manshu had also achieved the advanced fifth level. The robbers were the perfect target for them to practice.

As for the weapons and armour needed by newcomers, Ye Liuyun had already got it for them. It was all armours and weapons of the fifth level, available for their selection. Ye Liuyun now had no shortage of resources.

Once his clone left the city, he began to adjust his eyesight, and the entire foreign race battlefield fell into his field of vision, far more potent than his original Golden Phantom Eyes.

The only drawback was that those foreign races and Corpse Demons needed to move for him to distinguish between the dead and the alive. Generally, corpses are laid on the ground, which was pretty easy to identify.

The clone also saw that over thirty martial practitioners of the intermediate to advanced fifth level had followed them out the city gate, surrounding him in a fan-like formation.

He smiled slightly, "All the training dummies had taken their spots."
