Chapter 1882: Chapter 1882 Foreign Race Battlefield

Lin Xiyao nodded approvingly after inspecting the elixirs made by Ye Liuyun.

Immediately, she transferred the alchemy recipes and techniques from her ocean of consciousness to Ye Liuyun.

She even shared the process of alchemy she had seen Lin Luoyi perform.

Ye Liuyun knew the information’s value, even though he didn’t have time to review it carefully.

Pressed for time, Ye Liuyun handed Lin Xiyao an Interspatial Ring filled with a few billion spirit crystals without having the time to thank her, "Go get some fifth-tier herbs for me! I need them for energy refinement, body strengthening, soul condensation, healing, and genuine explosion pills."

"Got it!" Lin Xiyao replied and dashed out without another word.

In less than an hour, she returned with the herbs.

"That was fast!" Ye Liuyun remarked with surprise. He thought she would have to go to Regalty to get them.

"My family has these common herbs in stock. They’re cheaper than outside prices." Lin Xiyao explained.

"Haha, is that so? I hurried you because I thought you had to go all the way to Regalty." Ye Liuyun laughed.

They then discussed alchemy, especially Lin Xiyao’s techniques.

Ye Liuyun had always thought that a martial practitioner in the fourth realm couldn’t refine fifth-tier elixirs.

"It’s all about your control over the fire." Lin Xiyao explained while demonstrating with flames in her hands.

Her control was so precise that Ye Liuyun had to use his Golden Phantom Eyes to see the subtle differences.

"It also depends on your techniques!" Lin Xiyao said as she showed various methods where she used different fingers to control the fire’s temperature.

"I see!" Ye Liuyun exclaimed, finally understanding the theory.

He realized his previous methods were too crude.

Ye Liuyun could further refine his techniques with the information Lin Xiyao provided.

"Go back now! Your strict master will be upset if you stay here too long!" Ye Liuyun urged her.

"I’m sorry for everything!" Lin Xiyao said and stood up with a sigh.

"Don’t worry about it! I promise I’ll return. You don’t need to feel sorry. You’ve taught me a lot! You could be my master, to be honest!" Ye Liuyun joked.

Lin Xiyao laughed, "I’m not ready to be anyone’s master. I still have a lot to learn."

"Then study hard and surpass your master!" Ye Liuyun encouraged her.

Lin Xiyao was having a great time chatting with Ye Liuyun. She even forgot her worries for a while. Afterward, she helped Ye Liuyun make some more elixirs. Ye Liuyun had plenty of spirit crystals left and gave them all to her.

But the next day, when Lin Xiyao went to deliver the herbs to Ye Liuyun, she found out that people from Regalty had just taken him and the others away.

Feeling lost, Lin Xiyao murmured, "I hope you make it back alive!"

Several powerful martial practitioners stood guard on the flying vessel from Regalty. The Lin family’s outer disciples were worried and helpless as they headed to the foreign race battlefield.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun sat quietly in a corner and meditated.

The vessel made several stops to pick up more martial practitioners before returning to Regalty, where everyone gathered in a camp under watchful eyes.

This place was different from the western part of Regalty. No fighting was allowed here, and soldiers patrolled in shifts.

Ye Liuyun had expected some battles so he could collect resources, but that hope was dashed.

Still, he was satisfied when he was soon transported to the Conveyor Formation, which took him to the foreign race battlefield.

An elderly with a white beard greeted them. He appeared to be in the seventh tier.

"His realm is high!" Ye Liuyun was taken aback.

He extended his Divine Sense and found a large city with thousands of martial practitioners.

There were taverns, brothels, and inns, but no merchant guilds. There were also a few battle arenas where people were battling.

"Welcome to Base Number Seven of the Primary Battlefield," the old man announced. "There are thirteen bases in total, all numbered. The rules are the same everywhere."

"No fighting is allowed in the city. If you want to spar, use the battle arenas."

"All newcomers must survive outside the city for a month and collect at least three virtuosos from the foreign race to stay here. Outside is the battlefield where you can fight as you please."

"The central building is the Exchange Hall. You can trade virtuosos from the foreign race or Corpse Demons for resources. Other items can be traded there too."

"Nothing here is free. It costs fifty Spirit Crystals to enter the city. If you don’t have any, figure out a way after you leave the city." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Ye Liuyun’s mind raced, "This is just like the Five Continents Alliance on the Cangyun Continent. They must be able to turn the virtuosos into cultivation resources."

This place felt ordinary, more like an abandoned world than a secret realm. The spiritual energy was thin, making resource-dependent cultivation a necessity.

Ye Liuyun scanned the martial practitioners in the city, noting they were all below the sixth realm. However, the city guards and Exchange Hall protectors were in the sixth or seventh realm and numerous.

They were escorted from the Conveyor Formation to the city gates, clearly about to be expelled from the city immediately.

Some martial practitioners were visibly anxious and unprepared for this sudden development.

As they walked through the city, the residents eyed them critically.

"These weaklings won’t last ten days,"

"Barely ten percent make it back, what’s the point of watching?"

After a brief and hurried briefing, Ye Liuyun and the others were shoved onto the battlefield.

Outside the city, some people’s legs were shaking.

"Boom!"

The heavy city gates closed behind them with a thud and startled a few.

In the distance, they could hear the roars of Corpse Demons.

"So, we’re finally at the foreign race battlefield!" Ye Liuyun thought, feeling oddly familiar.

The battlefield’s dark energy reminded him of past battles against foreign races and Corpse Demons, giving him a strange sense of comfort.

The battlefield had almost no spiritual energy, even worse than inside the city. A thin fog limited visibility and Divine Sense exploration.

Encountering opponents here was purely luck-based.

Ye Liuyun was pleased with this environment. He could use his abilities freely without worrying about being noticed.

Without hesitation, he left the group and ventured into the fog.

Some brave martial practitioners followed suit and walked into the fog after a moment of adjustment.

Those who stayed put would soon attract Corpse Demons with their aura. Staying in one place wasn’t an option here.
