Remaining stationary, Ye Liuyun took the flames head-on with his flesh body, meanwhile absorbing the power of the Vermillion Bird.
The Vermilion Bird had initially restrained its power for fear of burning Ye Liuyun to death.
Yet, it suddenly discovered that Ye Liuyun was absorbing its Flame Force.
"Huh?" Out of curiosity, it exhaled an even stronger flame, only to find it absorbed once again by Ye Liuyun.
Ye Liuyun had a sixth-rank gilded armour inside and a fifth-rank armour outside, which could withstand its current attack.
Therefore, he wasn’t in a hurry to launch a Divine Soul attack. He hoped to first infiltrate the Vermilion Birds’a Ocean of Consciousness.
However, as the intensity of the Vermilion Bird’s flames increased, Ye Liuyun was concerned he might not hold on for long and decided to test the Vermilion Bird.
As such, he released a Divine Soul force toward the Ocean of Consciousness of the Vermilion Bird.

At this moment, Ye Liuyun’s two Divine Souls charged into the Vermilion Bird’s Ocean of Consciousness together, leaving it with Slaving Seal.
