"What’s your name?" Ye Liuyun asked aloofly.
“My name is Qingfeng,” the alchemist responded, with arrogance lingering in his voice.
Ye Liuyun glared at him and swung his blade towards the alchemist’s neck.
But he stopped just in time.
"Ah!” Qingfeng screamed, thinking he was done for, and wet himself in fear.
Ye Liuyun chuckled and said, “I’ve decided to give you a chance to live. Do you want it?”
“Yes, I do!” Qingfeng could no longer maintain his pride.
"Sign a master-servant contract with me, and I’ll take you to Sinless City for elixirs refining. How about that?" Ye Liuyun proposed.
"Okay, deal!" Qingfeng had to agree to whatever Ye Liuyun said at this point.
After signing the contract with him, Ye Liuyun gave him an empty Interspatial Ring for convenience.
"Go change your clothes, you stink!" Ye Liuyun frowned at the strong urine smell coming from him.
Qingfeng searched for a set of new clothes from the bodies of the bandits on the ground. He put them on and followed Ye Liuyun closely, afraid to be captured by other soldiers and get killed.
“Mr. Ye, the battle’s pretty much over. The soldiers are cleaning up the battlefield. Should we rest here or leave immediately?” the deputy commander asked Ye Liuyun.
