Chapter 475: Chapter 121: Rapid Rise to Level 100! Entering the Divine Domain
After the Lord World successfully advanced to its fourth stage, the conventional path for player development was to step onto the broader Domain-Level stage.
Lord Players would need to actively seek out the top Player Alliances within their domain.
Sometimes, disputes over resource allocation would turn them into mortal enemies, battling for victory through endless territorial wars and resource raids.
At other times, they would form offensive-defensive pacts to resist common foes and divide the spoils, creating massive factional conglomerates.
The core purpose of all this was to vie for greater influence within the domain, thereby controlling more abundant planar resources and Extraordinary legacies.
Once a faction had established a firm foothold in its domain, its position unshakeable, its focus would shift to the nation-level Plane War.
At that point, Lord Players would have to unite all major Player Alliances from their nation’s domain, consolidate the country’s entire Extraordinary Power, and form an invincible, multinational expeditionary force to launch a thunderous offensive against the Lord Players of other nations.
They would then crush their opponents with absolute military might, plundering the core resources of other nations’ planes and expanding their own domain’s territory. Ultimately, in the contest for supremacy across the Lord Planes, they would win supreme glory and immense profits for their nation.
Of course, for Lord Players aspiring to break through level 100 and pry open the gates to the Divine Domain, the true allure of the nation-level Plane War went far beyond mere territorial expansion and resource plundering.
Its greatest and most fatal temptation lay in the opportunity to acquire supreme treasures and rule-based authorities powerful enough to shatter the level 100 bottleneck.
These were existences on par with the Stone of the Gods—the only key in the Mortal Realm that could unlock the path to the Divine Realm.
Such treasures or authorities might be hidden within the core Secret Realms of enemy nations, they might be the ultimate reward for a campaign victory, or they might even drop randomly during a brutal, desperate battle.
They carried the fundamental power of the Divine Domain and could directly shatter the shackles of level caps, allowing players to cross the great chasm between Mortals and Deities. This was the fundamental reason countless Lord Players were willing to risk their entire nation’s strength to fight to the death in these nation-level Plane Wars.
However, these were all outdated traditions.
Ever since Qin Feng unified the globe with an iron fist and consolidated the power of all Lord Players, the nation-level Plane Wars of the past—fought ceaselessly over resources and territory—had become a thing of the past.
Now, the world’s Extraordinary factions were united as one, and there were no longer any so-called "foreign enemies."
All Lord Players had only two enemies left.
The first were the Evil God Players, who hid among the Mortal populace and other Lord Players. Disguised as ordinary people or allies, they secretly spread chaos and corrupted faith.
Like a cancer, they constantly sought opportunities to incite internal strife, attempting to subvert the order Qin Feng had established.
The second were the far more dangerous Abyssal Apostles, who hailed from the depths of planar rifts.
These terrifying creatures, born from the origin of chaos, bore the will of destruction and consumption. Each of their arrivals heralded the collapse of a Plane, posing an ultimate cataclysm that threatened the very existence of the entire Plane World.
The infighting of the past had vanished, replaced by a new era where all the Ten Thousand Realms were united against a common enemy.
And Qin Feng, the "God of Mortals," was the one and only leader guiding all living beings in their resistance against the Darkness during this world-ending cataclysm.
"Interesting."
Qin Feng’s fingertips tapped lightly on the armrest of his throne, a glint of understanding flashing in his eyes, which swirled with a holy radiance.
He glanced down at the system panel’s prompt—"Unable to identify detailed information for ’Abyssal Apostle’"—and a knowing smile touched his lips.
’No matter how Heaven-defying the Riding and Cutting system is, it’s ultimately bound by the rules of the Mortal Realm. It can’t discern the origins or true identities of the Abyssal Apostles.’
He slowly raised his hand. A faint but pure wisp of Divine Fire coiled around his fingertips—the Divine Perception granted by his Basic Divine Format.
’But once you obtain a Basic Divine Format and become a "ticket holder" to the Divine Domain, information about the Abyssal Faction is automatically branded into your mind.’
’I knew it.’
’My premonition was completely right.’
As he thought this, a look of certainty flashed in his eyes. Back during the wars that swept across the planes, he had vaguely sensed that something was amiss. The meddling of the Evil God Players, the invasion of the Void Creatures... it all felt like some kind of deliberately orchestrated trial.
He rose to his feet, Holy Flame blazing around him, and his voice carried the authority of one in complete command of the situation:
"The Abyssal Faction is the true threat that all living beings must face!"
"As for the Evil God Players, they are nothing more than a trial phase, just like the Void Creatures, the generational phantoms of Sky City, and the hostile Native Creatures. They are merely a whetstone to select and temper Lord Players."
"If they can’t even defeat these ’Replica Abyssal Apostles’—weakened by the rules and possessing only a sliver of Abyssal Power—"
"—then there’s no hope of them resisting the truly terrifying Apostles who will one day descend from the Abyssal Origin, bearing the true will of destruction."
The information from his Divine Format acted like a beacon, illuminating the ultimate crisis hidden in the fog. It also strengthened Qin Feng’s resolve to temper his forces and prepare for the war against the Abyss.
He now understood his true mission as a Lord Player.
He also had a good idea why his sister had disappeared.
Qin Feng raised a hand to brush away the Holy Flame Embers from his shoulder. A confident smile played on his lips, and his voice, though calm, was filled with unquestionable resolve.
