Chapter 390: Chapter 389: The Most Unrestrained of the Unrestrained

Even these reporters who were well-versed in the dirty dealings of the entertainment industry were taken aback upon hearing about this.

At this moment, their attention was instantly diverted.

They all surrounded Langston Caldwell, as if he were the main star of today’s opening ceremony.

"What did you just say? You mentioned nude auditions, is the movie you’re talking about Iron Blood?"

Langston Caldwell widened his eyes, looking as if he had misspoken, "You’re the one saying this, I never said I’ve received hush money, how could I reveal these things."

After Langston finished speaking, he realized he had said something wrong again and quickly covered his mouth.

"Don’t ask me, don’t ask me, today I’m here to interview the film ’Us’, stop surrounding me."

Obviously, what Langston was saying was far more interesting and newsworthy than interviewing Rosalind Sutton and South Grant; there was no way they’d let Langston leave.

At this moment, another reporter, the one who had been harassing Rosalind Sutton with questions, lost any desire to conduct an interview. Instead, he looked at Langston cynically and said:

"Were you placed here by the ’Us’ film crew? Deliberately spreading rumors about Iron Blood?"

"I’m not from your crew, you’re a reporter, aren’t you? Since when did you join a film crew?"

"I meant ’Us’."

"That’s right, I know you’re talking about your crew, but I didn’t join your team." Langston bantered with him.

The reporter was driven mad by Langston’s literal interpretations and pointed at the two big characters on the wall, saying, "These two characters, ’Us’."

"I know my characters; I understand they’re yours." Langston continued.

The reporter was so furious that he choked on his own words, silently cursing the ridiculous name of the movie and wondering if this reporter had lost his mind.

Langston then looked at him and retaliated:

"Today you came as a reporter for an interview but kept saying ’our crew, our crew’, clearly implying you’re part of the crew. And you’ve been asking difficult questions aimed at the goddess up there; is it possible you belong to the other film crew?"

Langston said this and then, as if suddenly enlightened, looked at him and snapped his fingers, saying:

"I get it, you’re part of the Iron Blood crew, knowing this film is starting and fearing it might be a strong competitor, so you deliberately came to trouble them. Oh yeah, looks like I’ve discovered something, time to ask for hush money again."

Everyone: "..."

South Grant, up there, watched Langston’s impromptu performance almost suffering internal injuries; what a tongue-twisting ’Us,’ leaving that reporter in a daze.

Not just South Grant, everyone else noticed too.

While the person was verbose, the reporter troubling Rosalind earlier seemed very suspicious.

From the moment he walked in, he started asking all sorts of tricky questions; by now, everyone was captivated by the Iron Blood auditions, yet he was the only one accusing Langston of impersonating a reporter, fiercely defending the Iron Blood crew.

These reporters were seasoned, instantly understanding the situation.

When the previously confused man snapped out of it, he angrily pointed at Langston, saying:

"Stop talking nonsense; I have a reporter’s credential."

Langston retorted:

"So what if you have a reporter’s credential? I have an ID card. Look, here’s my ID. Langston, the Langston of waves upon waves."
