Chapter 388: Chapter 387: Humans Evolved from Apes, but You’re the Most Annoying

Langston Caldwell admitted she wasn’t a match for her, so he simply kept his mouth shut.

For someone like him, being able to fight was enough; verbal sparring wasn’t necessary.

If things could be solved with fists, he never bothered with pointless chatter.

As they were nearing their destination, Langston asked South Grant, "What can you possibly do when you get there? Words are in the reporters’ mouths; are you planning on punching them?"

Langston’s eyes glinted with anticipation. South Grant glanced at him coolly and then replied,

"Who said you must resort to violence to stir things up? Only the lowest kind need to use force. You’re definitely in that bottom tier."

Damn it!

If it weren’t for Nathan Foster’s instructions, you’d have died thirty times over this past month!

As they arrived at The Brellian Clubhouse, South Grant and Langston Caldwell got out of the car.

South Grant entered the lobby to see many reporters gathered around Rosalind Sutton, bombarding her with questions. Rosalind was visibly irritated.

At this moment, South Grant waved Langston over, "Do me a favor."

...

Meanwhile, Rosalind Sutton and Caleb Holt were encircled by reporters, who kept throwing questions at them.

The questions were outrageous. Caleb wanted to shield Rosalind but worried the reporters might sensationalize the situation.

Caleb didn’t mind what they’d say about him and Rosalind Sutton, but as a top female star, he couldn’t let himself drag her down.

"Miss Sutton, I don’t understand why you took on this plagiarized movie?"

"I’ve read the script personally, it never went through my agent’s hands. I haven’t seen the script for that movie Iron Blood you mentioned, but the released segments differ completely from ours. How do you define plagiarism?"

Rosalind Sutton still barely maintained a smile on her face.

"Both are military-themed and released at the same time. If this isn’t plagiarism, what is it?" the reporter provocatively probed.

Rosalind wanted to bite back but couldn’t find the right words, gritting her teeth in frustration, she just wanted to curse them out.

Just then, a young man in a white T-shirt and light jeans walked over to Rosalind Sutton. He placed his hand on her shoulder, gave the interrogating reporter a cold sneer, and said,

"Everyone’s supposed to evolve from monkeys, so why are you the most despicable one?"

South Grant’s entry left the reporters speechless.

Rosalind Sutton looked up at South Grant, and seeing him there, she couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. She didn’t know why, but deep down, she felt South Grant brought a sense of security.

At that moment, the surrounding reporters started snapping photos of South Grant. Some, unaware of his identity, curiously asked,

"Who are you? Why do you speak like that?"

"Who are you? This is the opening press conference for the movie ’Us’. What are you doing here causing a scene?"

With one arm around Rosalind Sutton’s shoulder and the other around Caleb Holt’s, South Grant looked at all the reporters and said,

"The three of us, without one, there wouldn’t be ’Us.’ Now do you know who I am?"

Everyone suddenly realized.

Turns out, this young man was the other lead character in the movie.

No one expected him to be so young and equally handsome, perhaps even more so than Caleb Holt.

The most surprising thing was his audacity.

Having just debuted, and being in his first movie, to confront reporters like this at the opening ceremony was truly unheard of.
