Chapter 360: Chapter 359: Overflowing Dominance
When South Grant came downstairs, he saw Caleb Holt, Jackson Zane, and Vivian Lockwood all waiting in the hall.
Their expressions were quite peculiar when they saw South Grant.
Seeing their expressions, South Grant felt embarrassed, thinking she must have made a fool of herself.
South Grant walked over to Jackson Zane and Caleb Holt. Caleb’s expression was fine, but Jackson backed away several steps in fear.
South’s face darkened, thinking that she must have done something very embarrassing after getting drunk.
"I was drunk, so if I did anything inappropriate, don’t take it to heart."
Seeing that South Grant had returned to normal, Jackson dared to take a few tentative steps forward.
"Young Master South, you’re sober?"
"Yes."
"Oh my, you scared me to death." Jackson patted his chest, "Young Master South, you’re scary when drunk. We almost had a casualty."
South Grant felt very apologetic, as Nathan Foster had just informed her earlier.
After getting drunk, she smashed up a bar and beat up a guy named Fly.
The people with Fly weren’t a match for Dodo and Didi, so they didn’t fight back and just let South beat him up.
South was extremely surprised, never expecting that she would act so domineering after getting drunk.
But thinking about how Nathan said she beat Fly so badly that he was calling for his dad made South feel quite satisfied.
However, thinking again, her fighting skills weren’t that impressive. How could it be as exaggerated as Nathan said, that she beat Fly up until he cried for his mom and dad?
Now seeing Jackson looking so frightened and saying she almost caused a death, she wondered if she really beat up Fly half to death.
"Sorry, sorry, I drank too much; it won’t happen again."
Jackson looked at South, who seemed to have no recollection of what happened, and pointed to Caleb Holt standing nearby.
"You even hit him; Young Master South, you’re really ruthless when you drink." This was the first time Jackson saw South being so bad-tempered with alcohol.
When South heard Jackson say she even hit Caleb Holt, she was even more surprised.
"Caleb, are you alright?"
Caleb shook his head. Seeing South’s face filled with guilt, even if he was hurt, Caleb wouldn’t mention it.
At that moment, Jackson suddenly remembered something and said to South:
"Young Master South, I remember, when you were drunk, you hit everyone except for Young Master Lynch. Also, when you pinned Young Master Lynch against the wall, I almost thought I was going to switch teams; you were just so full of aggression."
South: "..."
South didn’t realize such a thing had happened and didn’t dare to look at Nathan Foster standing beside her.
South carefully turned around to look at Nathan, her face showing a cautious smile.
Before South could say anything, Nathan glanced at her and walked away with a cold expression.
South didn’t have time to explain much to them and quickly followed Nathan.
Vivian Lockwood watched the backs of South and Nathan and then left as well, leaving Jackson standing behind Caleb, who couldn’t help but stroke his chin and say:
"Caleb, what do you think is the relationship between Young Master South and that man? Why did I just smell a whiff of jealousy?"
Caleb looked at Jackson and slowly said:
"The principle of vinegar production is that grains ferment to a certain extent to produce a vinegar smell. Alden, you might want to check if there’s any residual fermented grain smell in your mouth."
After Caleb finished speaking, he turned and left, and it took Jackson a while to realize that Caleb had just made a jab at him!
