Nathan Foster raised an eyebrow and asked her as she mentioned the words "our military district":
"Are you part of the military district?"

"Nathan, I forgot to tell you, Vivian joined the army right after graduating from school. She’s now at the military district hospital, holding the rank of lieutenant."

"I do." When Nathan Foster said these two words, his expression was filled with a sense of happiness.
Old Chief Lockwood was a little surprised.
"Oh, when did that happen? Speaking with your father not long ago, he was still worrying about your relationships."
Nathan Foster: "I haven’t introduced her to my father yet; he just found out recently."

"I was thinking if you didn’t have a partner, I’d introduce someone to you. Didn’t expect you already have a girlfriend. Whose daughter is she? What does her family do? How old is she?"
"I’ll bring her over later to meet you, Chief."
"Alright." Old Commander Foster smiled, then turned to head back to his previous spot.
Nathan Foster followed him, turning around when Vivian Lockwood noticed the lipstick mark on his collar.
Vivian Lockwood pressed her lips into a smile, looked at Nathan Foster, and said:
"Commander Foster, you do really spoil your girlfriend."
Nathan Foster knew she’d noticed the lipstick mark on his collar.
"Her temper isn’t great, and she’s a bit spoiled. If I don’t pamper her a little, I’m afraid she might leave."
