There were notifications from his Status Screen that his Art of Stone was growing.

The fact that he was fighting as a warrior made of stone was forging his flesh according to this legacy, and it was a good thing that his talent was holding back the growth of his flesh, or Elias would be in pure agony at this moment.

The Art of Stone.

Vein Completion: 2.07%

This number had been climbing, and Elias still had a lot of enemies ahead. Every growth in this ability was like he was being hammered and tempered by the weight of all these abominations against his body.

Scripture of The Hollow Monarch.

Vein Completion: 1.536709%

His Void Legacy had also reached one percent, and Elias could not wait to see how much he would grow after he consumed every single abomination here.

The hunter in his blood was screaming for blood, and the Passenger inside his head was silent, but Elias could hear its heavy breathing, almost as if it was panting.

All of this was like fuel to the flames burning inside his head, and at the moment, there was one Legacy that could barely satisfy Elias's desire for carnage.

He reached for the Crimson Vein Dominion Heaven Art and the blood that flowed through his body, thicker now, heavier, and brighter, answered.

It did not wait for him to command it, with the growth of the Vein Completion to 35%, and wielding its powers was becoming more instinctual.

Elias could feel a force growing inside his body, but there seemed to be an odd blockage that was restricting this power from flowing outward, then he nearly rolled his eyes as he realized the cause of it.

Commanding his Ascendant Swarm to burst out of his skin in order to create tears on his back and shoulders, he gasped a bit in pain as blood slowly emerged from his back and shoulders; however, his blood did not fall to the ground as Blood Dominion Lash took over.

Having multiple legacies gave him an unfair advantage over other Siphons, but there was a disadvantage to this, as he was now slowly figuring it out.

Activating Stone Skin converted his armor and flesh to a hard stone many times denser and stronger than metal. Yet a being made from stone was not supposed to bleed, and this caused friction between his abilities.

It would have been even worse if not for his Elder Talent that held back his body from changing as his legacy was growing.

Perhaps when he reached one hundred percent completion in all three legacies, his Elder Talent should be able to adapt his body to fit all three of them.

There was already a beginning of this process with the three traits he had gained that were now aiding his growth, and he believed that his new traits would develop to match the growth of his legacies.

To aid his Crimson Vein Dominion, Elias had to bleed, and now with this blood, Blood Dominion Lash took over, and three strands of blood, resembling gigantic snakes, each capable of independent motion, dangled from his back.

With the growth of his Heaven Art, these tentacles of blood could last for longer, and they were made to drain vitality from their prey, and now he could drain vitality at triple the rate.

The whips of blood shot from his body, coiling around the spawns that clung to him, and in a moment, they had encircled dozens of spawns, and Elias felt his heart beating faster as more than half the blood in his body was drained from his body.

They tightened, and the spawns shrank as their flesh withered, and their red eyes dimmed. They opened their mouths in a silent scream as their bodies collapsed into ash, and the ash flowed into him.

Sanguine Resonance activated. 0.5% vitality per gallon of blood spilled. Although the spawns had no vitality to give, they were not truly alive in the way that mattered; the ash carried something that fed his pools and slowly filled his oceans.

And Elias also noted that his falling Stamina, which had been drained, surged once again as the blood returned back to him.

Without waiting for the wound to heal, Elias cast Blood Lash again and again, killing the hundreds of spawns that encircled him and reaping from them all the vitality they had to give him.

It was not much, but his vitality, which had been stable, began to climb.

He was not just fighting; he was feasting.

Elias had found a rhythm of slaughter, and he began to move forward towards the pit.

Perhaps he would not be able to move if the entire force of the swarm was against him alone, but the Siphons that followed him into this trial were diverting more than seventy percent of the pressure that he should be experiencing.

This gave him the opportunity to adapt to a battle of this intensity, and now that he had he began to move, step by step, as he tore his way through bodies, and it did not take long for the spawns to discern his direction, and they did not want him to reach it.

They threw themselves at him in an unending flood, as they climbed over each other to reach him. They even clawed and killed their fellow kin just to get to his throat.

And he did not care. Elias walked through them.

His shield was a wall, his blade was a scythe, and his blood whips were serpents, striking at anything that came within reach. The Crimson Shroud extended ten feet in all directions, and within that radius, the spawns bled. They did not have blood, not the way living things did, but they had something. Something that seeped from their wounds and evaporated into ash, and the ash flowed into him.

Hemorrhage Cascade stacked. Each wound he inflicted increased blood loss by 10% of the previous wound, up to five times. The first cut was a scratch. The fifth cut was a flood. The spawns died faster the longer they fought him, and they did not know why.

He was a storm. He was a mountain. He was the thing that the old stories warned about, the thing that walked through the darkness and did not stop.

The spawns kept coming.

He kept walking.
