Chapter 1882: Chapter 1882: Magic Apostle (3)

The curly-haired girl glared at the ten Gold Coins Chuzheng left behind as she was leaving, her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. Combined with her swollen pig-headed face, it looked terrifying.

Ten Gold Coins...

Ten pieces...

Who is she insulting!!

Who is she insulting!!

"I’m going to kill her!! I’m going to kill her!!!!"

-

Chuzheng tossed her clothes aside, stepped on the sound of the school bell, and returned to the classroom.

As soon as Chuzheng entered, she saw the red-haired girl surrounded by others. That was Elsa.

The girl’s skin was snow-white, her exquisitely beautiful palace-style dress accentuating her slender, gripless waist, with the hem just touching her knees, revealing her straight and long legs.

The girl softly covered her lips and laughed, her brows and eyes shining with sly brilliance, causing the nearby boys to blush.

She was indeed a beauty.

Sadly, a snake beauty.

A fair maiden with a sinister heart... alas.

Chuzheng lowered her gaze and sat down at her original seat.

In less than two minutes, someone rushed in with gossip.

"Nina’s face is swollen like a pig’s head, and her clothes are missing. You should have seen how miserable she looked."

"Who did it?"

"No idea, but whoever did it, I respect their guts."

In this Magic Academy, two girls attracted the most attention.

One was Elsa.

The other was Nina.

Both hailed from prestigious Magic Families, gifted and holding extraordinary status.

But there’s a saying ’One mountain cannot contain two tigers’, especially if both are tigresses, hence these two were arch-enemies in the academy.

Class 2 was Elsa’s domain, and upon hearing this news, the classmates sneered, trying to please Elsa.

Nina’s situation spread through the entire academy as if on wings.

Looking like that, Nina didn’t dare show her face and took leave to go home directly.

Perhaps this matter pleased Elsa, and for the following lessons, Elsa didn’t bother Chuzheng.

They were still in theory class.

Listening to the convoluted theoretical knowledge and a string of curses, Chuzheng felt like dying on the spot.

Struggling until school ended, Chuzheng was about to leave when Elsa stopped her.

"Xue Laiya!" Elsa handed her backpack over: "Hurry up, what are you standing there for?"

Chuzheng: "..."

Am I your book holder?

"Didn’t you grow hands?"

"What did you say?" Elsa thought she was hearing things. How dare she talk to her like this.

"Didn’t you grow hands, I can help you carry it." Chuzheng’s gaze was cold as she glanced over Elsa’s arms: "I can also help cut your hands off. I’d be happy to serve, after all, I’m a good person."

"!!!"

Elsa stared in disbelief.

What is she saying?

The other students in the classroom were also shocked by Chuzheng’s words, quieted and looked over.

"Xue Laiya!" Elsa’s anger erupted, sneering, with her playful face full of sarcasm: "You dare to talk back to me, I don’t think you want to stay here?"

"I’ll give you a chance now, apologize to me, or this won’t end."

Apologize?

What the hell are you.

Chuzheng rubbed her fingertips, letting it go for the presence of so many people.

Chuzheng pushed Elsa’s backpack aside and walked towards the classroom exit.

Elsa’s face darkened, she murmured a curse under her breath, and a fireball shot from her palm, aimed at Chuzheng.

Chuzheng reacted quicker, darting out of the room, and slammed the door shut.

The fireball hit the door, igniting an item of clothing hanging there instantly.

"Ah!"

The classroom descended into chaos.

-

Chuzheng exited the school gate, realizing this Magic World had backward technology, and transportation remained as horse carts.

Elsa had a dedicated ’car’ service, whereas the original owner did not, so she had to walk back home.

[Main task: Please equip yourself with a dedicated car, and change into a beautiful outfit, within two hours.] Never lose face! How can your gear be worse than others!

Chuzheng: "..."

Life is tough.

The pity life is tougher.

Chuzheng returned to the manor as darkness fell.

This manor belonged to the Charles Family, currently inhabited by Elsa’s father, the head of the Charles Family.

She was at the Western Continent, home to The Three Great Magic Families.

Charles was among them.

This grand, historical manor was merely one of the manors under the Charles Family banner.

The manor was brightly lit, servants busily preparing dinner.

Chuzheng’s impressive appearance startled the servants, almost failing to recognize her.

Is this... Ms. Xue Laiya?

Chuzheng trod on a path paved with jade-colored crushed stone, planning to return to her room first.

But a servant stopped her, asking her to go to the dining room.

Chuzheng reached the dining room, where the original owner’s mother, Maggie, was already standing, dressed in plain-colored clothes, her face looked troubled.

Maggie was a Westerner, with beautiful golden hair, standing there, graceful and dignified, it was hard to believe she was once a maid.

"Zhenzhen."

Maggie approached her immediately upon seeing her.

The original owner was named Chuzheng. After Maggie married Charles, Charles found the name too Oriental, thus changed it to Xue Laiya.

Yet Maggie would still call the original owner Chuzheng, only addressing her as Xue Laiya in front of Charles.

"Did you have a conflict with Elsa today?" Maggie’s beautiful brows furrowed: "Didn’t I say not to provoke Elsa?"

"I didn’t." Chuzheng denied calmly and steadily.

"Didn’t?" Maggie wondered: "Then she..."

Maggie seemed to think of something, raised her hand intending to touch Chuzheng’s head, but Chuzheng dodged.

Maggie’s expression stiffened: "Don’t talk back when you go in."

Elsa returned and complained to Charles. Now, Charles and Elsa were waiting in the dining room for Chuzheng, the culprit.

Charles was a fairly handsome man, with the deep features of a Western man. Standing next to Maggie, they seemed quite compatible by appearance.

Charles spoke directly, no nonsense: "Xue Laiya, did you have a fight with Elsa today?"

Chuzheng retorted quickly: "No."

"Ha, you dare not admit what you did?" Elsa mocked.

Chuzheng glanced at her, spoke slowly: "A fight involves verbal contention, loud argument over differing opinions, refusing to give in, I never argued like that with her."

Elsa: "..."

Charles: "..."

Maggie looked strangely at her daughter several times, signaling her not to speak, to admit fault and apologize.

If it were the original owner, she might have listened to Maggie, but sadly she wasn’t.

Admitting fault and apologizing was impossible.

Never in this lifetime.

Charles was also scrutinizing Chuzheng, noticing she seemed different from before.

Previously when seeing him, she always lowered her head, cautious and subtle, as if he would eat people.

But now this girl made him feel differently.

She was calm and composed, with neither humility nor arrogance, her gaze was cold, completely like a different person.
