Chapter 1825: Chapter 1825: Tomorrow’s Star (27)

Chuzheng was about to close the car door when suddenly a few young girls rushed out from somewhere.

"Husband, husband, it’s really husband, ahhh!!"

"I can’t, I’m going to faint!"

"I told you I wasn’t mistaken, it’s definitely my husband."

"Don’t make noise, everyone quiet down, what if you attract other people!"

Someone said this, and the group quieted down at once, though their faces still showed extreme excitement.

The young girls were very excited, their eyes sparkling with anticipation: "Husband, can we have an autograph?"

Chuzheng looked at Gu Yu, and Gu Yu nodded.

The young girls immediately took out paper and pens, and Gu Yu signed quickly—anyway, Chuzheng couldn’t understand what the heck was scribbled there.

They didn’t delay for long, and with hearts full of excitement after getting the autographs, they helped close the car door.

"Miss Qin, even though we don’t like you, we’ll love you because we love him. Please act well! Become famous soon, so we can accept you better!"

"..."

I don’t need you to like me.

Your acceptance means nothing to me.

Chuzheng internally snarked a few times but showed no abnormality on her face, she slightly nodded, and then closed the car window.

"Actually, Miss Qin is really good-looking too, her skin is flawless, like to the point it’s almost breakable, and she’s not even wearing makeup!!"

"And she seems so classy!"

"I’ve seen her promo photos, her acting shouldn’t be bad."

-

Chuzheng watched the few young girls still standing over there, she turned to glance at Gu Yu: "Will you act again in the future?"

"No."

"Why?"

Gu Yu dropped his gaze, coldly and indifferently said: "To inherit the family business."

Chuzheng: "..."

Alright.

You’ve got a family business, you’re incredible.

The car became quiet suddenly, the scenery outside the window swiftly passing by, both of them looked out the window, yet the atmosphere didn’t feel awkward.

"You and Fu Xingchen are on the same flight?" Gu Yu’s voice broke the quiet of the car.

"Hmm."

"You really don’t like him anymore?"

"I don’t like him." Never did, the original host’s preferences have nothing to do with me!!

Gu Yu glanced at her from the corner of his eye: "Didn’t you like him a lot back then? How come you say you don’t like him anymore?"

Fu Xingchen is his rival, Gu Yu knows his fiancée likes his rival, one can imagine how he feels.

"Don’t like means don’t like... why do you keep asking? Why do you keep mentioning him?" Chuzheng replied impatiently.

"..."

Am I not allowed to ask?

She is quite fierce!

Gu Yu snorted coldly, turned his head to look outside the window and didn’t speak anymore.

For the rest of the trip, Gu Yu didn’t say a word. When they got back to the villa, Gu Yu went inside without looking back, not intending to interact with Chuzheng at all.

The bodyguards went to push Gu Yu, while Chuzheng went to take out her suitcase by herself.

"Miss Qin, let me do it." The butler appeared from somewhere, taking the suitcase from Chuzheng’s hands: "Miss Qin, should I take your suitcase to your room?"

"No, just leave it in the living room for now."

"Alright." The butler placed the suitcase in the living room.

Chuzheng opened the suitcase, Gu Yu didn’t go upstairs, he let the bodyguard help him sit on the sofa.

Chuzheng opened the suitcase and pulled out the messy items inside, tossing them onto the coffee table.

Initially, Gu Yu didn’t pay attention and glanced casually; however, the next second he focused back instantly.

Most of what Chuzheng tossed out were unwrapped, kept in plush bags, some not even in bags, just pulled out from the box.

Gu Yu thought her suitcase... must be worth no less than ten million.

How did she even board the plane that way!!

With so many things, how could she take them without getting checked?

Isn’t she afraid of being robbed?

...The robbers probably wouldn’t even imagine she would stuff so many valuables in a suitcase.

Gu Yu calmed down, cleared his throat: "Why did you buy so many things?"

"Bought them for you to play with." Chuzheng closed the suitcase with a ’pah,’ lifted it, and went upstairs, acting all high-spirited.

"???"

Bought for him to play with?

Did he hear it wrong?

Does he need these things?

The butler came out, looking at the pile of things on the table, and the dazed Gu Yu, also paused for a moment: "Sir, where did these things come from?"

Gu Yu raised his hand to cover his forehead: "Send them to Miss Qin’s room." Does he need her to buy anything?!

Butler: "..." Did the sir give them to Miss Qin? But... why are the boxes all opened?

The butler, full of doubts, sent the things to Chuzheng’s room but was refused by Chuzheng. The butler held onto a pile of things with nowhere to place them.

In the end, the pile of things ended up in Gu Yu’s study.

-

Night fell.

Chuzheng had just taken a nap in her room, skipping dinner, now she felt starved, so she sneaked downstairs to find something to eat.

The fridge had plenty of food... unfortunately, it was all uncooked.

The servants were already asleep by this time, Chuzheng thought she might as well order takeaway, she closed the fridge in disappointment.

Unexpectedly, there was someone behind the fridge, Chuzheng reflexively stepped back: "Mr. Gu, are you sleepwalking in the middle of the night?"

Scared the heck out of someone.

Gu Yu’s figure was indistinct, couldn’t see his face, his voice carried the coldness of the night: "What are you doing?"

"Hungry, looking for food." Chuzheng replied calmly.

Gu Yu scanned her hands: "Didn’t find any?"

Chuzheng stayed silent, stepped away from the fridge, nonchalantly poured herself a glass of water to fill her stomach. Gu Yu moved his wheelchair over, opened the fridge to take a look.

He seemed to understand why she didn’t make a move.

Gu Yu glanced at the person beside him, the young girl in home clothes, wearing slippers, holding a water cup and leisurely sipping water... suddenly found her a bit cute.

Pah! Pah! Pah!!

What is he thinking?

Gu Yu brushed away the random thoughts in his head, turned on the kitchen light, took out a few items: "Come and help."

"Why should I?" Chuzheng instinctively replied.

Gu Yu sneered: "Do you want to eat or not?"

Chuzheng: "..."

Not eating!

How can a big shot step into the kitchen!

-

"Vinegar."

Chuzheng handed things to Gu Yu with a cold face, Gu Yu was also glad that even though this little miss seemed unable to cook, she recognized ingredients and hadn’t handed him the wrong things.

"Bowl."

Chuzheng opened the cupboard, found a bowl, washed it, and handed it to him.

Gu Yu looked at the bowl, holding back his anger: "Two!"

Chuzheng: "You’re going to eat?"

"Why else would I be cooking?" Damn, the food he made, she actually wanted to eat it all herself!

Does he seem so easy-going that he’d cook just for her? She was dreaming!

Chuzheng fetched another bowl, and afterward, she was pretty sensible, taking the meal out on her own initiative.

Gu Yu’s cooking wasn’t excellent, but it was passable, the two ate without speaking.

The butler, up for a night stroll, noticed light in the dining area, curiously came to check, then saw the two sitting facing each other, silently eating noodles.

The butler hid in a dark spot, sneakily snapped a photo and sent it to Old Madam Gu.

It seems that sir and Miss Qin’s relationship is much better than before...
