—The scene with Derisha was something else, holding one person while impossibly grabbing a giant horse by the legs. Tsk.
On the other side, Belle was diving down on her griffon.
As for Zakarina, the Vassal of The Earth...
"Hey, goblin, are you sure you’re okay falling like this?" She hovered beside me, wearing her maid outfit, looking completely unconcerned as we both plummeted downward.
"Of course I’m not okay!" I yelled, but the powerful wind immediately filled my mouth and puffed up my cheeks, making my words barely audible.
Because of the wind rushing in, I started making nonsensical sounds like, "Gagagagagagaga."
"Goblin, your face looks really ugly right now. Oh wait, it was already ugly, but now it’s ugly on top of ugly," Zakarina teased, covering her mouth with a finger in mock amusement.
"Gagagag— Damn it! Worry about yourself first!" I snapped back.
Why does this woman have such blatant hostility toward me?!
"Rifle!" I shouted.
Rifle, who had been tumbling and looking dumb with its tongue out, barked and quickly formed a small Illusionary Barrier underneath it, creating platforms it could jump on.
It bounded over to me, grabbed my collar, and tossed me onto its back.
We began descending toward the ground as if we were walking down stairs, Rifle hopping from one Illusionary platform to the next!
I sped Rifle up, catching up to Zakarina, who was still free-falling.
"Alright, my problem is solved. Now it’s your turn, Miss Zakarina," I taunted.
"Too bad. If you had splattered on the ground, I wouldn’t have had to dirty my own hands," Zakarina replied indifferently.
"I’m serious! We’re almost at the ground!" I glanced downward and saw that we were rapidly approaching a forest of giant, brown mushrooms.
Zakarina is a Vassal of The Earth, and Vassals of The Earths don’t usually have any means of flight, right?!
She’s going to die if she keeps falling like this!!!
It’d be way too humiliating for a Vassal to die such a stupid death!
"And so what?" Zakarina glanced at me with disdain, still falling as nonchalantly as ever.
"Rifle, grab her!" I couldn’t stand it anymore.
We were less than ten meters from the ground!
Rifle immediately lunged, but just as it was about to grab her, Zakarina suddenly sped up and crashed into the forest below.
Dust and rocks shot into the air, obscuring both mine and Rifle’s vision!
Unable to see anything, we suddenly collided with something hard, and I was thrown off Rifle’s back.
As my vision cleared, I found myself mere centimeters away from the ground.

"You did that on purpose, didn’t you?!"
"I have no idea what you’re talking about." Her eyes darted to the left, clearly feeling guilty.
Oh my god, could you at least lie a little more convincingly?!
I wanted to punch her so badly—so, so badly!
At that moment, one of the giant mushrooms near us suddenly "moved."
The next second, there was a sharp screech, and a bamboo spear-like appendage shot toward me!
I quickly dodged, and as I did, I saw what was attacking us!
It was a massive insect with mushrooms growing on its back!
The red dot on my minimap confirmed it as an enemy!

Zakarina swung her iron chain, about to attack, but suddenly, something fell from the sky and smashed straight through the bug’s head!
The insect collapsed, dead before it could even let out a scream.
Standing atop the corpse was a petite figure with twin pigtails.
She turned to face me and Zakarina.
"Huh? There’s a weird goblin and a weird lady here?"
"Why are you all kept calling me goblin!"
