"You first..."
Before the exhausted goats could react, Leo’s stone knife was already plunged into the he-goat’s neck. As he pulled it out,blood gashed out of the hole like a fountain.
System Alert: You have killed a level five common rank goat.
System Alert: You have received two hundred and fifty experience points.
System Alert: You have received ten copper coins.
System Alert: Check inventory for coins
"You are next..."
Leo pointed at the least exhausted she-goat,as he dashed towards it. The she-goat knowing of its impending doom, decided to not go down easily but die fighting.
It mastered the last of its strength and charged towards Leo.
"A fighter...!"
Leo admired the goat’s fighting spirit,but that was all.
As the two were about to collide,Leo did the unexpected and jumped over the goat, landing behind it. As for the goats,it could not stop in time,and this earned it a slash on it left hind leg.

"Let’s see how you will put up a fight while sustaining a severe injury..."
The she-goat staggered for a second as it bleated in pain.
It turned around, withstanding the pain and reeled back for a charge,the extra weight on its hind legs brought it severe pain that made it falter, leaving it open for a split second.
And that was all that Leo needed.
By the time it recovered,it discovered Leo’s knife headed straight for its weakest point.The eyes. And there was nothing it could do.

"Rest well,you fought bravely..."
Leo whispered to the carcass as he trained his eyes on the remaining three goats,that were sneakily retreating.
"No chance..."
Leo cried out before dashing towards them.
Seeing him charge over,the goats bleated in panick as each retreated fast in a different direction.
"Damn...!"
Leo cursed as he was now forced to go after one of them and let two escape.
"Another good reason of why I should become a lord..."
Leo thought.
As a lord,he would have subordinates,and such a moment like this one,they would have surrounded the goats and none would have escaped him.

Finally,Leo caught up with the goat as it goat itself entangled on a thorny bush. He had slit it throat as it put up a pitiful resistance.

Leo was quick on his response,as there were four more dead goats that were waiting for him to loot them.

Leo decided before quickly changing his mind.
"But that will mean mean a slow pace as I will need to be careful not to break it..."

"As for the tendons,I can use them together with one hide to make a makeshift satchel for the fruits and berries..."
"The cabbages and pumpkins are too big to fit in the satchel..."
"They will have to stay in the inventory..."
Leo still had four goats to loot,that ment he needed two slots for the meat,one for the jars of milk,and one for the hooves.
As for the fruits and the berries in his inventory,he stored them in the makeshift satchel. He had simply tied up the hide edges together. There was no craftsmanship involved,thus the system failed to recognize his handiwork.
"Damn you system...!"

Leo had gathered the four carcass together looting them.
Now he had enough meat to last him weeks,and an inventory to keep it fresh throughout.
After fetching water,he quickly left for his lair,his satchel draped over his shoulder. Everytime he came across some berries,he would pluck them for his satchel.
He also took his time inspecting all the plants that looked edible or useful.
This was when he came across the crescent flower.

"Healing potion..."
From the results of the inspection ability,Leo learnt of the existence of potions,and the basic ingredients of a healing potion. As for the refining process or the crafting process,he had no knowledge on these.
