Chapter 14: "Ninety-nine more to go..."
"Bring those hides closer to the fire..."
Leo ordered as he crushed red berries in a cooking bowl and mixed them with water. He was making his signature red berries juice.
The boy unrolled the hides and went to sleep, stomach full and a woven oversized sweater on. As for Leo,he spent two hours curving out the biggest stone,or rather small boulder, into a cylindrical container, four and a foot in height and a foot and a half in diameter.
This was going to be his water tank,as he was fed up with the small jars of water issued by the system.

"An apprentice summon jade..."
Of all the rewards, only the jade caught Leo’s eye. This jade was not like the previous one that had randomly summoned a boy,but a class based summoning jade.
This ment that by becoming an advance craftman,Leo would no longer have to bother himself with crafting rudimentary tools,as he would have someone to do it for him.
"But a hundred rudimentary tools..."
Leo could not help but sigh,as he decided to call it a night. He added more dry roots to the fire and went to sleep. The next day,he was once more woken by the muffled chirping of birds.
"No dream..."
Leo felt disappointed,as it was his second dreamless night.
"Gemini...!"
He called out to the still sleeping boy.
"Wake up,we have a long day ahead of us..."
Leo informed the boy as he saw him stir and sit up.
As for him,he cleared the stacked up wood at the lair’s entrance and went outside. He stretched for a couple of minutes to ease the stiffness,as he enjoyed the warm rays of sun that snaked their way through the forest canopy.

"This quest should be updated..."
Leo thought as he went back.
He found that the boy had rolled both their sets of hides and stored them at their corner.
"Good..."
He said as he retrieved four baked sweet potatoes from his inventory. They were still burning hot and gave of a sweet aroma.
"Before we eat, kindly replicate that..."
Leo pointed at the hoe.
"Okay..."
The boy quickly agreed as he eyed the sweet potatoes.
He found a broad stone,a straight root and some vines, before sitting cross legged and doing his magic.
Minutes later, there were two rudimentary hoes.
"Good work..."
Leo acknowledged the boy as he sat back on the makeshift stone table, ready to gobble down his breakfast.
"Here..."
Leo handed the boy two sweet potatoes and half a small jar of red berries juice.
"We need cups..."
Leo added cups to the list of things that needed crafting.
He also noted that the boy did not appear as exhausted as before, this he deduced was attributed to the boy’s increase in level.
As the boy ate,Leo warmed up last night leftovers, there was still enough soup and vegetables for lunch.
As the two warmed,he sat down to have his share of breakfast.

After breakfast,Leo stored the two cooking bowls as well as the small bowls and spoons and the stone container in the inventory, before securing the lair’s entrance and leading the boy towards the stream.
He passed by the pitfall trap.
"The blood trail is still here..."
"Maybe I will investigate after I level up..."
Leo decided to let the thief go for now,as he felt that his strength was still not enough. At the stream,he first filled up the stone water container,as he did not wish for a repeat of yesterday.
And with a helper and the increase in level, that brought about an increase in stamina and endurance, Leo managed to dig up a full fifty metre long trench by noon.
The boy had helped scoop the dug up soil, while Leo had focused on digging, only stopping to scoop the soil when the boy grew tired and needed rest. Also,he had had the boy replicate two small bowls and one stone water container, that he had filled and stored in his inventory.
To Leo,the boy’s ability was a welcome,as it could save him time from crafting mundane tools.
After lunch, the two had a bath, and headed back to the lair.
Leo let the boy make dinner while he busied himself with improving his craft.
System Alert: You have crafted a rudimentary cup.
System Alert: You have received fifty experience points.
The cup,was just like the spoons. It was curved out of dry roots, was hollow and cylindrical with a handle on the side.
As for its dimensions,it was palm size in height and a finger and a half long in diameter.
It had taken him about an hour to complete.
"Ninety-nine more to go..."
Leo sighed as he breathed in the aroma of boiling mushroom soup.
"He is a fast learner..."
Leo smiled as he picked up a dozen small broad stones. His next item was going to be a bunch of arrow heads.
