Felix was startled that Ember reached 5th Tier at once. In other words, he simply has to gather the evolutionary materials needed for her to reach the Rare rank.
His eyes sparkled with excitements as he observed Ember. He noticed that her body already had solidified foundation and was now ready to breakthrough.
He quickly wanted to ask Guide about the evolutionary materials needed so he could buy them immediately, but the wall of texts beside Ember changed, expanding into her skills and showed each of its descriptions.

Spark Peck: A peck infused with minor flame energy. It might not seem enough but if it successfully lands on Moon’s body, she’d definitely be wounded.
Warmth Aura: Ember can actively release an aura filled with fire energy that slightly restored stamina of nearby allies. It has no effects against unrecognized nearby creatures.
Ember Flutter: During movement, she can release tiny burning feathers. If it attaches to a skin of others, even your beast pet, it’ll burn them but the effects are minimal.]
Felix was truly amazed.
Ember’s role was already obvious—a support. No wonder that beast tamer with fire energy would rather choose roc instead of phoenixes.
But Ember could fight. Despite being a support, it doesn’t mean she was weaker when the opponent got closer to her. In fact, the more they tried to attack her first, the more they’d realize it was certainly a bad idea.
With the addition of Ember, Felix’s strength had improved by leaps and bounds. Krisha had to intensify her training to catch up to him.
Just recalling Krisha made him smile. I wonder what surprises she has to catch up to me?
He found it admiring that Krisha, despite the gap at each early breakthrough they had, could consistently kept catching up to him, even threatening to surpass him.
At the moment, Felix was now confident that Krisha couldn’t even last for more than a single breath, but once she developed a momentum again, Felix couldn’t remain idle.
Felix glanced at Ember, who kept releasing sparks. She was definitely excited that someone had chosen her to be their companion. Since it was Felix, the latter would surely take responsibility no matter how tiring Ember would have become.
He caressed the head of Ember, who felt it wasn’t enough and rubbed her whole body to his palm, while constantly releasing sparks of excitements.
She’s really a clingy one.
Just as Felix thought so, he failed to notice the adult phoenixes who were revolving above them. They slowly dispersed and the beasts who answered their call followed, as well.
The artificial Yggdrasil returned to normal. But the what had transpired didn’t escape the eyes of Mei that constantly sparked with excitements.
It was no lesser than Ember.
She gazed at Felix as though he was looking at a treasure. When her eyes landed at Ember, she immediately took a picture while trembling.
When she was finished, she immediately checked the image and was filled with hysteria.
I managed to capture a chick image of a future real phoenix!
She could barely control her excitements as she exploded with a thunderous, "Yee-hoo!"
Her voice instantly caught Felix’s attention, who gazed at her filled with wonder.
When Mei simmered down, she glanced at Felix and instantly felt awkward by his gaze.
She forced a smile and shouted, "I will go there."
She jumped and successfully landed a bit far from Felix and the other chicks. The chicks scurried away from them, startled by the appearance of a crazy woman.
Mei went closer to Felix and said, "You should have to update your status now. You just have a beast pet."
Felix was surprised. "Does this mean I have to go through that process again?"
Mei chuckled. She shook her head. "There’s no need. I’ve already recorded that chick’s status and will update it to your profile. I was just teasing you."
Felix heaved a sigh of relief. What he wanted was to return already and chatted with Guide to obtain the necessary evolutionary materials for Ember.
Mei asked, "What is her name?"
She was familiar with phoenixes as she was fond of them since she was a child.
She researched them deeply that she could immediately tell the gender of a chick by one glance.
Felix beamed a smile and pushed Ember closer for her to have a better look.
Ember was quite terrified, but perceiving the assurance and the urge of her master, she slowly tilted her head and met the sparkling eyes of a woman.
Felix said, "Her name is Ember."
"Ember..." Mei liked the name. "A name that truly fits her. It symbolize a spark."
She gazed affectionately at Ember and slowly moved her hand closer to her. Thankfully, Ember didn’t show a sign of anxiousness and simply waited for Mei to finally have a chance to caress the head of a real phoenix.
Her heart skipped a beat. The warmth produced by Ember immediately cooled down her heart that was about to explode with excitements.
Caressing Ember was a soothing feeling.
She caressed her for a while and thoughts began to finally return her mind.
She suddenly glared at Felix and said, "You name her Ember, so don’t you dare lose her spark."
Felix was taken aback. He thought. She’s so random and unexpected.
He was silent for a while, compelling Mei to focus on caressing Ember’s head. When Felix finally found his answer, he said, "I can’t promise you that she will always have her spark, but even if she loses it, I’ve already prepared something for her to regain it.
She’s Ember and will always be my Ember."
Mei’s eyes widened. She gazed at Felix with dumbfounded expression.
She thought. What an admiring young man. Every beast tamer must aspire to become like him!
Felix was an easy-going individual with a carefree mind. Mei hoped that he would keep that mindset no matter how tough the challenges that life had prepared to throw him into...
