Rey was the first person to reach the grand storm, which had already covered an extremely large area. The Soul Beast stopped a few meters away from the storm, and the young boy jumped down.

"Do you know what that storm is?" he asked the Soul Beast. Unlike him, the Soul Beast had been living in the Land of Fables for a long time, which made him think that it might know what it really was.

"This is the first time I have seen something like this." The Soul Beast transformed into her human form, a long gown materializing around her mesmerising body. "But I can feel a strong life force on the other side. Someone is inside."

"Is it another Fable?" Rey frowned, feeling the strength within the storm itself.

If the storm caused by a fable was this strong, then he could only wonder how unique the fable actually was. Even if he couldn’t take another Soul Beast at the moment, he could still take some advantage.

"I can’t be certain. It feels like a fable, but still... It doesn’t feel right."

"Can you enter the storm to check?" Rey asked the woman next to him who had a contracted mark on the back of her neck, confirming her Soul Beast identity.

The woman was also curious about the storm, so she approached it. She reached out her hand and tried to touch the storm, but she quickly pulled her hand back after experiencing a very strong resistance from the storm.

It felt as if the storm was trying to devour her own essence when she touched it, which made her look at it weirdly.

"It’s impossible." She returned to Rey, shaking her head lightly. Even though she was a Domain Owner in the Land of Fables, and someone born in a high grade world, she still couldn’t pass through the storm walls.

"I don’t know what’s inside the storm, but I don’t think it is good. If it’s hostile, then I might be able to protect myself, but you won’t be able to. We should return," she told Rey.

"How can I leave after finding something so interesting? What’s the point of having a soul beast like you if you can’t even protect me?" Rey looked at her with dissatisfaction.

The Domain Owner sighed helplessly, not knowing what to do next. She even wondered if this childish boy was really someone who could help her become a Constellation and complete her revenge.

She opened her lips to make him understand, but she stopped abruptly and looked at the sky with a deep frown. She saw something within the storm clouds, coming in their direction.

"Hmm? What’s something like that doing here?" Rey was also a little taken aback. The object’s form factor felt somewhat familiar to him, but it wasn’t something that should be in the land of fables.

"Are others also here?" He was certain that it could be the work of someone who came from outside, like him.

The thought that someone else was also here reminded him of the treatment he had received. It made him even more eager to have his revenge, now that he had a high-tier soul beast.

"Bring that thing down. Someone must be inside. Don’t kill them outright," he commanded the soul beast, and the symbol on the back of her neck started shining. "I want to punish them myself."

The Soul Beast’s lips twitched in frustration, and she somewhat regretted her decision to become a soul beast.

Previously, no one could command her. But now, she had no choice but to follow orders, at least until she became a Constellation. She didn’t have any freedom to resist a command until then.

"You better make me a Constellation fast after we leave!" she exclaimed through clenched teeth before transforming back into her beast form.

She leapt into the sky, rushing after the jet, which had also noticed her. The Soul Beast pursued the jet, running on the air as if it were solid ground.

"What the heck is that?" The Ego also watched in disbelief, almost losing his wits. He thought he was going to face some mid-tier beasts that weren’t tied to the domains, but the first existence he saw was none other than a high-tier Soul Beast.

"F*ck! Why is my luck so rotten?" he cursed out loud as he reacted by launching a missile.

The missile streaked through the air, leaving a golden trail in its wake. The Soul Beast, however, merely flicked her massive claws, sending a blast of concentrated wind that detonated the missile prematurely.

The explosion rocked the sky, but the beast remained unharmed, her eyes fixed on the jet.

The ego had already realized that everything was useless against a high-tier beast, which made him curse his luck even more. When he was prepared for a low-tier beast, a mid-tier beast came after him. And when he was prepared for a mid-tier beast, it was a high-tier beast.

He quickly turned in the air and started flying as fast as he could, to at least drag the beast away from this place. He didn’t know that the beast had already failed to enter the storm, despite being a peak existence in this land.

There was only one problem for him, though. He wasn’t faster than the Soul Beast, which was quickly catching up, right behind the jet.

The beast raised her claws again and swung down to bring the jet down. But just as she was about to connect, she felt a sense of death looming over her.

She quickly reacted and jumped to the side, watching a golden streak barely miss her. She looked back in disbelief, trailing the trajectory that seemed to have come from within the storm, which was growing weaker and slowly disappearing.

As the storm grew even weaker, she was even able to see a vague silhouette within. The silhouette raised his right hand, and the jet that was flying away disappeared mid-air, materializing right next to him.
