Chapter 2593: Chapter 2593: Waiting by the Tree for a Rabbit

The Nine Provinces Map is unlike any other design.

It was painted by Silvio Reed in his own tomb.

The map is not just about the landscapes of the Nine Provinces; more importantly, it includes Silvio Reed’s plans for the future.

Governance of the Nine Provinces, where each province is located, and the arrangement of provincial capitals.

All meticulously planned by Silvio Reed.

Aside from the terrain and these plans, there’s nothing else of interest.

If it were a landscape painting, it could be understood.

But this Nine Provinces Map is entirely Silvio Reed’s personal ambition plan.

For others, this painting holds no meaning!

Who is it, who painted the Nine Provinces Map on the cave ceiling? 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Just to open one’s eyes, lying in bed, to see a blueprint of the world?

"Every day, wearing the dragon robe Silvio made for himself, lying on this simple bed, opening my eyes to see the Nine Provinces Map, as if I’m like an emperor." Julius Reed shook his head and sighed, "What great ambition, what deep obsession, what endurance. Who do you think this could be?"

"Silvio Reed?" Long Xun seemed somewhat perplexed.

Who else in the world could be so obsessed?

"Impossible, does Silvio Reed steal from himself? He has ambition, but he’s not crazy."

Long Wu frowned slightly, "Long Xun, please use your brain. You’re indeed very capable, but in terms of intellect, Julius Reed has surpassed you by a lot."

"Alright, you’re right about everything."

Long Xun nodded, feeling very helpless.

As expected, when a woman is in love, she’s brainless.

"It wouldn’t be Silvio Reed, Silvio’s ambition is great beyond measure, how could he be holed up here?" Julius Reed smiled and said, "Back then at Demarco Mount, he was so natural that I’ve always considered him my good friend. When I found out he was Silvio Reed, I refused to believe it."

"Then who could this be?" Long Xun grew curious. "Could it really be Silvio?"

"This person has ambition, but is hampered by Silvio Reed, so he has always been patient. If I’m not mistaken, this person definitely knows Silvio Reed, maybe even has a close relationship with him. Otherwise, why would he live here? In such simplicity?"

"Clearly, he just wants a place to dream, and when the opportunity arises, he’ll make his move."

Julius Reed pointed at the empty surroundings: "He must be someone close to Silvio Reed, intimately familiar with him. Who could this person be?"

Mr. Springs?

This was the first person that came to Julius Reed’s mind.

A wise man of the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance, meticulous in his actions.

But he quickly dismissed the idea.

A wise man wouldn’t do something so reckless.

"Ilia Yarrow, can you contact him?"

Julius Reed looked at Ilia Yarrow, who stood inside the cave with a bewildered expression.

"I... I really can’t contact him." Ilia Yarrow said with a twisted smile, "Usually, he’s the one who contacts me. How could I contact him? Except for knowing this location, I know nothing else."

"Brother! Big Brother! My dear brother!"

Thud!

Ilia Yarrow knelt on the ground, clasping his hands, eyes filled with tears as he said, "Brother, give me a way out. I’ve done everything you’ve asked of me! Either kill me to spare me the torture, or let me go, and I’ll thank you for the rest of my life! Bowing to you!"

He disregarded his status as Silvio’s Tomb Guardian and knelt down directly, bowing his head.

"Forget it, you can go. But remember, if you cause trouble again in any place, I will kill you." Julius Reed waved his hand: "Go as far as you can. Also, your son isn’t dead; he was just beaten into a stupor."

"I..." Ilia Yarrow stood up without speaking.

He banged his head against the wall and slowly left.

If humanity is lost, can one still be called human?

What about immortality; forget it.

It’s better to use the remaining time to find his son.

Even if his son can’t forgive him.

Julius Reed’s raised hand lowered.

If Ilia Yarrow had any ill intentions, he would have immediately dealt with him!

But now, he’s changed his mind.

Sometimes, the greatest punishment is living.

"Shall we wait here for that person to return, or..." Long Wu sought Julius Reed’s opinion.

This person is quite mysterious.

They are someone by Silvio Reed’s side and have such great ambition.

If left unchecked, they could become a real threat.

"He probably won’t be coming back, but I might know who this person is." Julius Reed touched the bed, the table, and that piece of clothing, "No, this piece of clothing is still here, which means he will come back."

Dragon robe!

That’s the thing this person cares about the most!

"We’ll wait here for a while, at most three days, and he will definitely return."

Julius Reed sat on the bed, holding a sword in his right hand, closing his eyes to rest.

Though Long Xun felt bored, he still followed orders and left the cave, hiding nearby.

Long Wu sat quietly by Julius Reed’s side, without speaking.

Sometimes, being with the person you like surpasses a thousand words.

Time trickled away.

Julius Reed sat cross-legged on the stone bed, beginning to recover his body.

The owner of this cave, nobody knew for sure.

Just in case it’s a formidable character, Julius Reed needed to be ready.

The voice from the Double Dragon Jade Pendant once said it would take Julius Reed’s life when he was in danger.

One had to be on guard.

Time slowly slipped away.

It was unclear how much time had passed.

The sound suddenly came from the entrance of the cave.

Long Wu sharply opened her eyes, placing her right hand on her sword, ready to handle any sudden situation.

But Julius Reed reached out his hand to stop her.

And gestured that she didn’t need to be so tense.

As footsteps approached, they suddenly sensed something was amiss.

And quickly moved toward the entrance.

But outside, Long Xun was already blocking the way.

"Who goes there!"

Long Xun plunged his sword into the ground, forming seals with his hands, and forcefully pushed forward!

Using sheer strength, he constructed a wall!

That sound rolled forward, tumbling into the cave.

When he saw the two people before him, he was momentarily at a loss.

"We’ve been waiting for you a long time."

Julius Reed lifted the Jade King Sword in his hand and slashed down hard!

Boom!

The man’s clothes instantly shattered!

"Gold Cicada!"

Long Wu and Long Xun exclaimed simultaneously.

They were among the few who had seen the appearance of Gold Cicada!

The Gold Cicada sheds its shell and has endless transformations!

But in the end, he still has his true face, unlike Hill Leocadia, who is enigmatic and unpredictable.

"Long Wu..." As Gold Cicada saw Long Wu, his face darkened considerably. "How did you find this place."

His expression suddenly turned indifferent.

Facing an opponent like this, there was no escape.

Might as well confront reality.

"But, Julius Reed, I’m surprised you aren’t dead." Gold Cicada sneered, "But I know even if you aren’t dead, you should be very weak now, right?"

"That’s none of your concern."

Julius Reed walked up to Gold Cicada, circling around him, and questioned, "I guessed around, but never suspected you. You were the most trusted by Silvio Reed, more than anyone else. But what are you doing now? This is treason!"
