Chapter 2588: Chapter 2588: Doesn’t Seem Like the Boss

In the hotel lobby, dozens of people stood.

Except for a few of Long Wu’s attendants and Bai Feng’s men, the rest were Tomb Guardians.

Also known as the people Bai Feng said the Martinez Family had always respected.

"Empress." Seeing Long Wu come down, Long Kun hurriedly stood up, smiling, "Did we disturb you?"

"It’s alright, I have no pressing matters, so I came down to take a look." Long Wu walked side by side with Julius Reed, exuding the full authority of an Empress.

"This is... haha." Long Kun chuckled, a bit embarrassed, "You’ve changed; I hardly recognize you. That incident in Mont was not intentional back then. Now we’re all... one of our own. Don’t hold a grudge."

After speaking, he looked at Long Wu again, "The brothers followed you here without hesitation, please don’t conspire against me."

Women seem a bit unreliable.

Previously, they talked about killing Julius Reed, all imposing and aggressive.

There have been many hard battles, many deaths.

Long Kun himself was beaten several times by Julius Reed on Boulevard Mountain, and Black Dragon was nearly killed with a single sword!

In the end, Long Wu claimed to have reconciled with Julius Reed.

They even planned to marry!

The Long Family was all bewildered.

But now, it seems there is no better option and can only follow Long Wu.

Leaving the Long Family would make their situation even more dangerous.

Just...

Initially in a fight to the death with Julius Reed, can it really work?

If this guy seeks revenge later, won’t they be in trouble?

To take a step back, even if Julius Reed lets it go, will his brothers agree?

Everyone is ostracized, openly and secretly.

For the future, Long Kun no longer holds any illusions.

His ambitions are all ruined by this woman.

"What are you thinking?" Long Wu laughed, "Following him, will you lose out? Besides, he doesn’t have the right to command you; you’re still my people, listen only to me."

"Exactly, I have plenty of my own men." Julius Reed said with hands behind his back, "Is my heart that narrow? I respect the strong. That incident in Mont did shock me. To speak of wanting to kill you, I really did want to back then. But now, things have changed; it’s all past."

"Really? This isn’t just my wish. If you’re truly willing, could you write an assurance? Just for our brothers." Long Kun asked without reservation.

He has ability, naturally has character.

Thinking the adversary suddenly becomes one of his own, Long Kun feels somewhat uneasy.

But now the die is cast.

It’s still wise to keep an avenue open.

"No problem, it’s proper." Julius Reed nodded, pointing at the person at his feet, "What’s going on here?"

"They said they are some nonsense tomb guardians, came up asking for money. I told them, no money, only fists." Long Kun raised his foot, pointing at the bloodied-faced man on the ground, "He insisted on trying, so I obliged."

"You dare to hit me, Commander Yarrow won’t let you go. Remember, in a few hours, everyone here will be dead!"

The bloodied man on the ground shouted loudly.

Only then Julius Reed noticed.

It’s not that the man didn’t want to get up.

But his bones in both hands and feet were all broken.

No wonder he couldn’t rise.

It was beyond his control.

"Commander Yarrow?" Julius Reed stopped Long Kun from making a move, bent over, and asked, "Which Commander Yarrow?"

"Commander Ilia Yarrow!"

The man on the ground was crippled, yet still sounded confident.

"Ilia Yarrow." Julius Reed straightened up, asked, "Long Wu, the person you mentioned, is also called Ilia Yarrow, right."

"Yes." Long Wu nodded.

Ilia Yarrow is the Tomb Guardian of Nine Provinces.

Long Wu was once someone equivalent to Wayland and Silvio Reed, naturally she knew Ilia Yarrow.

After all, to guard Silvio Reed’s tomb isn’t something ordinary.

"How soon can he come?" Julius Reed asked.

"What? Scared?" The man grimaced in pain, "Too late, I’m telling you, the Great Commander will be here soon! You can’t escape Autumn Name Mountain!"

"Why don’t you make a call, the sooner the better." Julius Reed urged, "I’m kind of impatient."

"What did you say?" The man was dumbstruck by his words.

Are there really people eager to meet their death?

"Do you think I’m bluffing? Or joking?"

The man was very angry, gritting his teeth, "Just wait! Soon, you won’t be able to laugh! The Great Commander doesn’t have my temper, he’ll kill all of you!"

"I’m waiting, maybe you could hurry him up?" Julius Reed waved his hand, "Continue beating."

Bam!

A group of people gathered around, punching and kicking the man.

And those Tomb Guardians in the hotel dared not move.

Afraid of ending up like the man on the ground.

A wise man stays out of harm’s way.

They could only wait for reinforcements.

Soon, the man on the ground was beaten half to death, too weak to speak.

"Still not here?" Julius Reed was a bit anxious.

That belt made him curious about Nine Provinces again.

If that was the outfit Silvio Reed was buried in, how could it end up with Brody Yarrow and then be given to Bai Feng?

It’s a valuable artifact!

If discovered by outsiders, it would be deadly!

Ilia Yarrow committed theft, Silvio Reed’s men wouldn’t let him off!

How did Brody Yarrow go mad?

Everything seems to be waiting for Ilia Yarrow to explain.

Half an hour passed.

The sound of a car stopping came from outside.

Shortly after, a man in a denim jacket walked in.

Seeing the scene, he quickly drew the gun from his waist, vigilantly asking, "What’s happening?"

"Mr. Martin, this group killed the Sect Leader of the Martinez Family, now they’ve beaten Sammy the Fat." A Tomb Guardian pointed at the now-silent man on the ground.

"May I ask, who are you? What’s your background? Is there hatred or are you trying to trouble us?" Darian Martin slowly raised his gun, eyes sweeping the room, aiming at Long Kun.

"Speak."

His tone was very cold.

"This is Squad Leader under Commander Yarrow, Darian Martin." A Tomb Guardian at the door introduced.

"You’re barking up the wrong tree." Long Kun gleefully said, "Seems you think I’m the boss here? Actually, it’s him!"

He pointed at Julius Reed, eyes filled with pride. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"A blind man? You’re kidding, right? Is it amusing?" Darian Martin sneered, "Answer me."

Just as he finished speaking.

Julius Reed took a step to Darian Martin, snatched the gun with one hand.

With an unbelievable speed, he shoved the gun into Darian Martin’s mouth.

"Don’t judge by appearances, it could cost you."

Julius Reed tapped the trigger with his finger, laughing, "You have half a minute to contact Ilia Yarrow. If you fail, I’ll send you to the tomb. Let him guard it for you."

Sweat instantly poured from Darian Martin.
