After all his frustration had been spent, Kallus took a deep breath, calming his emotions.

He let out a long sigh and turned his gaze toward his surroundings.

The battlefield—once reduced to desolation—was now slowly regenerating, as if the very planet itself sought to restore balance after the devastation.

With a single thought, Kallus activated his teleportation.

In an instant—

He vanished.

His destination?

His villa.

And with that, he left.

And so, time flowed like a river, steady and relentless.

Three years passed.

Kallus dedicated himself entirely to his cultivation, refining his techniques and deepening his knowledge, all of which had expanded through his elevation in life rank.

Through relentless effort, he perfected and mastered all the knowledge he had acquired, engraving every concept into the very core of his being.

His cultivation had risen as well.

Now, he stood at the Grandmaster Rank – Level 8 (Peak), just a step away from breaking through to Level 9.

The threshold to the World building realm was within his reach.

Kallus had not spent these three years in isolation solely for cultivation. His ambitions stretched beyond mere power—he sought knowledge, influence, and understanding of the greater cosmos.

Among his many endeavors, he dedicated himself to gathering intelligence on the regional powers near Earth, meticulously analyzing every detail.

Through his efforts, he uncovered critical information—details that made his eyes narrow in scrutiny. The revelations were not insignificant; they held weight, shaping his next course of action.

Additionally, he studied the structural classifications of various civilizations, empires, and coalitions, mapping out their political, economic, and military structures.

While the information was not entirely detailed, it provided him with a partial picture, allowing him to gain some understanding of different civilizations. This knowledge ensured that he wouldn’t be caught off guard when encountering them. Even if he were, it would have little impact on him or his fleet. However, learning about his potential enemies or allies was crucial—after all, knowledge is power."

Armed with this newfound intelligence, Kallus knew it was time to return to his Void Fleet. There were major matters to handle—matters that would influence not only his future but that of entire star systems.

Kallus stood up, stretching slightly as he stepped out of his villa. Just as he was about to leave the Universal Plane, a nagging feeling tugged at the back of his mind, making him pause.

"Hmm… am I forgetting something?" He scratched his head, frowning.

Then it hit him.

"Ohhh… I almost forgot about Fafnir."

A slight look of embarrassment flickered across his face.

"Well, I didn’t actually forget…" he muttered to himself. "Remembering something late and forgetting it entirely are two different things, okay?"

Shaking his head at his own logic, he turned toward the Endless Forest. Taking a deep breath, he called out in a loud, commanding voice:

"It’s time to go, Fafnir! Hurry up and come!"

His words echoed through the vast forest, stretching far into its depths.

Kallus’ voice echoed across the vast expanse of the Endless Forest, carrying deep into its mysterious depths.

A moment of silence followed.

Then—

AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

A powerful, primal howl erupted from within the heart of the forest, shaking the very air around him. The sheer force behind it sent ripples through the trees, causing flocks of birds to scatter in terror.

Kallus narrowed his eyes and focused his gaze.

From the farthest reaches of the Inner Forest, a streak of white light suddenly burst forth.

It was moving at an insane speed, tearing through space itself. In its wake, the ground shattered, trees splintered, and even the sky seemed to distort under the sheer force of its approach.

Kallus sighed, already knowing exactly who it was.

"Tch... This idiot." His mouth twitched.

Kallus’ mouth twitched slightly as he recognized the incoming force.

"This reckless mutt..." he muttered under his breath, his gaze locked onto the white streak of light hurtling toward him at an insane speed.

The air trembled, space cracked in its wake, and the sheer pressure of the approaching presence caused the trees nearby to sway violently. Some were even uprooted entirely, thrown aside like twigs under the force of the wolf’s approach.

Kallus took a half-step back, debating whether to dodge, but before he could even make a decision—

The white blur closed the distance in an instant.

BOOOM!

The white blur collided with him at full speed.

Kallus barely had time to react before the white streak of light slammed into him with tremendous force, sending him staggering backward before ultimately crashing onto the ground with a heavy thud.

"Tch—!" He let out a grunt, his body sinking slightly into the earth from the sheer impact. Dust and leaves fluttered around him, disturbed by the collision.

Kallus sighed as he lay on the ground, pinned beneath the massive white wolf that had just tackled him with overwhelming enthusiasm. The beast’s pure blue eyes sparkled mischievously as it continued to lick his face, its large paws pressing down on him with no regard for his dignity.

"Damn it, Fafnir you little bastard," Kallus muttered, his mouth twitching as the beast began furiously licking his face like an overgrown pup. he patting the wolf’s thick fur while trying to push its massive head away. "Haven’t you grown too much? You can’t just jump on me like that anymore!"

Fafnir, of course, ignored his words completely. Instead, the wolf let out a pleased rumble and nuzzled Kallus even harder, its cold nose pressing against his face as if it hadn’t seen him in years—which, technically, was true.

"I swear, one day, you’re going to shatter my bones doing this," Kallus exaggerated, sighing dramatically.

Fafnir simply wagged his large, fluffy tail and bumped his head against Kallus again, clearly unbothered.

Fafnir simply wagged his large, fluffy tail and bumped his head against Kallus again, clearly unbothered by his words.

Looking at Fafnir’s carefree attitude, Kallus sighed in resignation. There was no winning against this beast.

He gave up and started playing with him instead. It had been over four to five years since they had last seen each other. Back then, he had sent Fafnir into the depths of the Endless Forest to train and grow, while he himself focused on challenging the Void Tower and honing his combat abilities.

Now that Fafnir was here again, Kallus realized just how much the wolf had grown.

Standing at nearly 10 to 12 meters long, Fafnir’s once smaller frame had transformed into that of a majestic and powerful beast. His aura radiated pure strength, showing that he had reached the peak of the Grandmaster Rank.

Kallus sighed, shaking his head before a small smile tugged at his lips.

As he ran his fingers through Fafnir’s thick fur, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of warmth. They had both changed, both grown stronger.

From the moment Fafnir had hatched from his egg, the two had been together. And though they had been apart for years, Kallus knew one thing for certain—he had missed him.

After no more than an hour, Fafnir finally calmed down. The massive wolf lay beside Kallus, resting its big head on his lap.

Kallus absentmindedly ran his fingers through Fafnir’s thick fur as he took in the breathtaking scenery around them.

Looking at the sky above and the vast beauty of Origin Prime, he muttered,"Even Heaven would be put to shame..."

It was no exaggeration. Origin Prime—no, the entire universe—was the very definition of natural beauty. Everything here existed in its purest, most awe-inspiring form.

He sighed.

Not because he would miss this place—after all, it was his personal domain. But because he knew what was coming.

More responsibilities. More battles. More struggles.

Not that he wasn’t prepared—he had always been ready. But he knew the weight of what lay ahead. And even for him, it was bound to be... frustrating.

Still, he muttered to himself,"Whatever. I’ll go with the flow."

His golden eyes flickered with resolve.

He patted Fafnir, drawing the wolf’s attention. It was time.

"Let’s go, Fafnir. It’s time to set things in motion... for a better future."

Fafnir didn’t need words to understand. The massive beast lifted its head and stood up, its piercing blue eyes meeting Kallus’s.

Kallus also rose to his feet.

Before they left, he glanced at Fafnir and said,"Before we go, shrink down. Like when you first hatched."

Fafnir, for some reason—just like the Flaming Bear, Solaris, and Lunara—couldn’t speak yet. But it understood him perfectly.

The great wolf nodded and, in an instant, its enormous form shrank. From a towering predator to the size of an average dog pup.

Without hesitation, it leaped into Kallus’s arms.

Kallus smirked. "Let’s go."

With that final thought, Kallus focused his mind and prepared to leave the Universal Plane.

A faint tremor passed through his body. Reality itself seemed to shift.

For a moment, his golden eyes darkened—as if absorbing the very essence of the cosmos—before light once again flooded his vision.

When the glow faded, he found himself standing in his suite aboard the Obliterator-Class Star Dreadnought.

The familiar hum of the ship’s energy core resonated in the background, a steady pulse of unimaginable power. The air smelled crisp and artificial, a stark contrast to Origin Prime’s untamed nature.

He glanced around, taking in the luxurious yet militaristic design of his quarters. Everything was exactly as he left it.

A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "Finally... I’m back."
