Chapter 459: Ch

Valoria didn’t hesitate for a moment after hearing this and immediately nodded her head in acceptance while saying, ’This is only natural, and I naturally accept that.’ She didn’t put any more words forward than that, nor did she feel there was any need to do so. It was entirely unnecessary at that point.

’Good!’ A smile bloomed on Kallus’s face immediately afterward, and he nodded his head approvingly at the attitude Valoria displayed in this matter. Her lack of hesitation in making her stance clear made him much more inclined to help her with a greater level of sincerity.

Valoria didn’t know it, but she had just dodged a bullet by being quick with her actions, firm with her priorities, and staying grounded. Had she shown any hesitation here, she might have been dealt with much differently soon after. The future collaboration between the two of them would have been a bit off, so to speak. The alliance would have remained, but that joy of true friendship would have been lost.

’Alright then,’ Kallus said, standing up. Looking at her, he commanded, ’You proceed to use that holy water and quickly handle that thing in your sea of consciousness. Immediately.’

Valoria nodded seriously, confirming that it was exactly her plan. She stood up as well, following Kallus out of the conference room. She then boarded a levitation car and left toward her guest palace immediately afterward.

Meanwhile, Kallus entered another building where the Imperial Army logo was visible in all its grandeur from far away. The complex was super big—bigger than Earth’s largest city, if one were to compare. After all, it was not only the headquarters of the Imperial Navy, but also an Imperial Navy port and the Imperial Guards’ station. Its massive scale was only natural.

Deep within the Imperial Navy complex, in one of the central, grand buildings, was a simple yet solemnly grand conference room with a sharp military flair.

Many people could be seen sitting in a theater-type seating arrangement with desks in front of them, making the conference room look like a parliament of sorts. And it was indeed much like that, just built for a vastly different purpose. Sitting in those seats were the higher-ups of the Imperial Navy forces, ground and planetary forces, shadow forces, the Imperial Guards, and the Defense Command forces. Everyone was present.

From the planetary commander of the Celestial Void Planet to the general of the armed forces—who commanded the ground and armed infantry, including the likes of space marines—all were there. All ten Grand Admirals were present, including the three new ones named Mav Lark, Yuki Wooden, and Anky Clark. Along with them, the overseer of the shadow forces was there as well.

Then there was the Lord Commander of the Imperial Guards—one of the strongest existences in the room, holding a standing no lower than the others, and perhaps even higher—named after a famed sword of the multiverse: Excalibur! There were other parties as well from each branch, holding ranks just below the higher-ups mentioned above. All in all, there were about two hundred people present, including Lady Yanshi and the like.

As Kallus entered the room, everyone stopped their chattering, stood up, and bowed. "We welcome the Lord Imperial Commander to the Imperial Council Chamber," they all said in unison.

Kallus merely hummed as he moved toward the central seat facing everyone and sat down, directly overlooking the entire assembly.

"Everyone, be seated." Everyone nodded their heads and, without delay, sat back down. Seeing this, Kallus hummed again and announced, "Let the first Imperial Army Council begin."

"With the gavel striking the sound block just below his seat, the sharp crack signaled that the session was officially in order.

’The first topic is the establishment of the Universal Stellar Federation, joined by all the factions that attended our foundation ceremony, and the controlling stake that our Imperial Empire holds within it. We have elected the Federation President, and our choice is—please stand from your seat—the Councillor of the Sea Star City, Lady Yanshi,’ Kallus said, briefly outlining the matter of discussion before getting straight to the point.

Yanshi, who was sitting in the right wing of the council seats among other councillors of the larger cities surrounding the capital star, as well as many high-ranking external affairs officers, had surprise and astonishment written all over her face. Hearing her name mentioned, she realized she had somehow ended up becoming the Federation President of this multi-race alliance led by their own empire.

Seeing her reaction, Kallus smiled, having anticipated this exact response. He spoke in an approving manner, ’What are you sitting there stunned for? If not you, who would be more fitting for this position? You have shown your talents and your prowess while leading the Ministry of External Affairs, executing all your duties with such perfection that even I don’t have enough words to praise you, Yanshi!’

He continued, looking at the entire assembly, ’Recognizing your achievements, I have selected you to be the first President of this Federation. It holds an extremely important framework for the development and progress of our empire, and will act as our overreaching influence among the galaxy and the myriad races, becoming an important key to our ascension. For that monumental task, no one other than you is more perfect for the job.’"

"And I hope going forward, you maintain your approach and do things just as efficiently as you always have! Do not worry about being too bold; for everything you do, you will have the support of myself and the Empire behind you—provided your actions are logical, and provided they benefit us foremost, and our member states second."

Hearing such high praise coming directly from Kallus’s mouth made Yanshi deeply satisfied and filled with gratitude. Rising from her seat, she bowed deeply toward Kallus, speaking with absolute conviction. "This subject of yours will not disappoint you in this matter, Emperor!" she said, her voice filled with a fierce, fighting spirit.

"Good! That is the fighting spirit," Kallus spoke up, extremely satisfied with the reply he received. "Now, please take your seat. After the session ends, the Red Empress will hand over all the necessary details you might need to understand your directives. But do know that the workload is extremely heavy. Everything needs to be built and formed from the ground up; other than the basic framework, nothing is yet in place. You will need to work hard and even train the personnel yourself."

"I understand, Emperor. I will get in touch with the Empress afterward to map these things out, and I will do my best to establish the working structure for the Federation in the fastest time possible!" she said without blinking an eye.

Kallus nodded his head approvingly and fell silent.

Taking that as her cue, the Red Empress spoke up again. "The next matter of the council is the First Void Sea Plan! The continuous, unprovoked attacks launched against us by the Star Empire and various Tier 3 powers have reached a tipping point, and a definitive action plan has been drafted."

Saying that, she paused briefly, letting her gaze sweep over the council chamber.

"Time and time again, these factions, along with the rest of the galaxy, have mistaken our restraint for weakness. So much so, that even lowly Tier 3 powers dare to look down on us and openly express disgust at our human origins. They have gone so far as to attack our convoy fleets, which were sent merely to establish a friendly understanding between us.

Now, enough is enough. Since they do not want to be our friends, and since they are so deeply disgusted by us, they might as well cease to exist. It is time we truly show the galaxy our strength—at least enough to stop these transgressions from happening, so that any random faction thinks twice before looking down on us.

At the same time, this campaign will lay the foundation for our upcoming operations to unify and form our official Federation territory, an endeavor in which all of our forces will be participating."

"But that is for later. For now, our focus should be on three specific objectives," Kallus declared, his voice carrying clearly across the chamber.

"First, we will clean up the mass of factions directly blocking our path toward the Star Empire’s territory.

Second, we will launch a massive offensive to break and destroy a major chunk of the Star Empire itself, rendering them utterly unable to even call themselves an empire. We don’t need to completely eradicate them just yet, as they still hold some value left for us to exploit.

Third, we will simultaneously strike the Blood Moon Empire and the White Holy Angel Empire, completely obliterating them and leaving only broken remnants to be absorbed by our Legion of Dark Angel forces. These three campaigns are our primary concern.

Simultaneously, a separate operation will be dispatched to the Elfheim Empire
