Chapter 102: Chapter 88: One Punch to Shatter Your Melee Dream

Henry did not defend passively. It wasn’t his nature.

Henry’s Two-Handed Sword carved an arc through the air, aimed straight for Edmund’s vitals.

Edmund hastily retreated, blocking with his sword. The blades flashed, and every exchange sent a shock through the crowd.

Henry’s Swordsmanship was defined by wide, sweeping movements, full of power and ferocity, while Edmund’s was steady and precise.

Henry skillfully used the flex of his blade to knock Edmund’s sword aside. He immediately closed the distance and slammed an Iron Mountain Lean into Edmund’s left side.

Although Edmund was in good physical shape, he still lost his balance slightly under Henry’s sudden close-quarters assault.

Henry seized the opportunity, thrusting his Two-Handed Sword at a precise angle toward a gap in Edmund’s armor. Edmund barely managed to block the blow with his own sword, but the strain was already showing.

Though Edmund struggled to regain his footing, he was ultimately unable to launch a counterattack under Henry’s relentless assault.

Henry leaped into the air and tapped his sword against Edmund’s helmet, declaring victory as Edmund stared back in stunned disbelief.

’How did he jump like that? Can you even jump in this armor?’

The crowd erupted in thunderous applause and cheers, celebrating the spectacular duel.

At the height of the Wolf Hunting Festival, the final match began.

Henry and Calvin stood at opposite ends of the arena. The duel between the two noblemen captured everyone’s attention.

They were both symbols of strength and courage, and this battle would decide the true king of combat.

At that moment, both Henry and Calvin were clad in heavy, full-body armor. In one hand, they tightly gripped a sturdy warhammer; in the other, they held a heavy shield.

The heads of the warhammers glinted coldly, and the emblems on their shields displayed their respective family crests.

The two Warriors slowly approached one another. This time, Henry struck first. He swung his warhammer at Calvin, the weapon whistling through the air as if it would tear it asunder.

Calvin quickly blocked the heavy blow with his shield. The immense force sent him staggering back two steps, and he stared in shock at Henry, who was a full size smaller than him.

Henry probed Calvin’s defense, searching for an opening. From behind the cover of his own shield, his warhammer sought out a flaw in Calvin’s guard.

The battle between them was incredibly fierce. The clash of warhammer against shield sounded like drumbeats. Everyone held their breath, their eyes glued to the contest of strength.

Henry’s assault was a raging tempest, while Calvin was like an indestructible fortress wall, staunchly holding his ground.

As the battle wore on, Henry’s attacks grew ever more ferocious until he finally found a slight lapse in Calvin’s defense.

Henry seized the opportunity. His warhammer struck Calvin’s shield with astonishing speed and power, and with every impact, Calvin felt the pressure mount.

Henry let out a great shout and put all his strength into one final blow. The warhammer whistled through the air and smashed viciously against Calvin’s shield.

The force of the blow was so immense that cracks instantly appeared on the shield’s surface, and Calvin felt a tremor run through his arm.

Just as Calvin’s shield was about to give way, Henry dropped his warhammer. He drew back his gauntlet-clad Iron Fist and punched directly at the cracked shield.

The punch landed squarely in the center of the shield. Under the immense force, it shattered, sending fragments flying.

Henry’s fist stopped just inches from Calvin’s face. The gesture was not only a sign of respect for Calvin but also a declaration of his own victory.

Calvin took a step back. He knew the outcome of the battle had been decided.

After a moment of silence in the arena, a deafening roar of cheers erupted.

Calvin removed his helmet and extended a hand to Henry, a sign of respect and concession.

Henry also removed his helmet and took Calvin’s hand. He wondered if his eyes were deceiving him—was that the glint of tears in Calvin’s eyes?

’No way. Did I actually make him cry?’
