With a nervous flutter in his chest, Yujin forced a smile, pretending nothing was wrong. Slowly sitting up, he looked up at Winston and urged him to answer.
“Can I go out?”
The sheet slipped naturally, fully exposing his naked body. Winston forcibly fixed his downward gaze on Yujin’s face and asked,
“Why do you want to go out so badly?”
To run away from you.
“You haven’t bought your gift yet.”
Hiding his true feelings, Yujin answered with a smile. Winston frowned and looked down at him with narrowed eyes, as if trying to decide whether his ears were deceiving him or Yujin’s mind was slipping. To cloud his reason, Yujin deliberately adjusted his posture. The sheet that had been precariously draped around his waist slipped down, revealing his thigh fully. At that moment, Winston’s eyes were fixed there. Yujin subtly twisted his waist to reveal more of his bare body and spoke.
“You made Angie and me happy, so now it’s our turn. It’s also a chance to teach Angie about giving back.”
“Hm?” Yujin tilted his head slightly. Still fixated on Yujin’s bare body, Winston paused and asked,
“What?”

“You’ll have to go with a bodyguard.”
The voice that came late was heavily hoarse. Smiling, Yujin replied,
“Of course. I’ll even go with you to the bathroom.”
Winston frowned. Nervous inside, Yujin heard Winston speak.
“That’s not necessary.”
He had expected that. Not stopping there, Yujin slyly took his hand and smiled.
“Thanks for allowing me.”
Though he spoke in a very gentle tone, his true feelings were completely different. It was laughable how he revealed ridiculous possessiveness over someone who was merely a partner to satisfy his sexual urges. Yujin let go of Winston’s hand and grabbed his necktie. Even though he tugged lightly, Winston came willingly. As if waiting, their lips met in a slow, sweet kiss. Lingeringly, Yujin licked inside Winston’s mouth and lightly bit his lower lip before whispering,
“Come back early.”
Loosening the tie, Yujin stepped back and looked at Winston slowly lifting his hips.
“I’ll strip completely and wait in your bed.”
Showing off, Yujin spread his arms wide and smiled. Winston fixed his gaze on the fully exposed nakedness. His Adam’s apple bobbed distinctly in sight.
“Yujin......”
Unable to hold back, Winston reached out. But Yujin quickly stepped back and slipped out of his hand.
“I have to go to work.”
Seeing Winston’s grim face, Yujin smiled instead.
“Tasty things are eaten last.”
Speaking gently as if scolding a child, Winston said nothing for a moment.
“Yujin.”
“Yeah.”
Answering readily, Winston asked from a distance.
“We’re okay now, right?”
About what?
Yujin almost burst out laughing at the absurdity. All they had done was sex. So why was this man saying something like everything was resolved? Because Yujin had kissed him first and wanted sex? Did this man not know what state an omega gets into when the heat cycle comes?
It was just instinct.
“Of course.”
Yujin smiled nonchalantly. Maybe because of old wounds, the lies flowed smoothly.
“We decided to just bury the past, didn’t we?”
Not content with just repeating that, he added,
“Thanks, Winston. For forgiving me.”
Pretending to be touched, Yujin clasped his hands over his chest and sighed. Seeing this, Winston hesitated for a moment, then awkwardly lifted the corner of his mouth.

Winston bent down to kiss Yujin but then stepped back.

“That’s right, Winston.”
In a self-mocking tone as if talking to himself, Yujin quickly agreed.
“The night is long. We should take our time.”
Winston sighed and soon turned away. He picked up the suit jacket draped over a chair and slung it over his arm, holding his briefcase in the other hand as he headed for the door. Opening it, he glanced back once more and held his gaze for a moment—as if wanting to memorize Yujin’s naked body longer. Yujin resisted the urge to hide by pulling up the sheet. Winston, standing like that for a while, forcibly tore his eyes away and turned. His slow retreat down the hallway lingered in Yujin’s vision like a slow-motion scene. Without blinking, Yujin watched him and finally spoke.
“Goodbye.”
Just as the door was about to close, the words slipped out unconsciously. Winston paused, and Yujin hastily gathered himself and mumbled,
“Have a good day.”
Seeing Yujin’s smiling face, Winston nodded and closed the door. Only after the footsteps fully faded did Yujin finally relax and sigh deeply.
That was dangerous.
