The Ten Suffering Bodhisattva said calmly, "To speak of subduing demons and suppressing devils, coming from you lot, is a bit ironic."
The Polar Star Monarch refuted, "Those who go against are demons, those who rebel are devils. These two Daoist Friends follow the Great Dao; though they are of demon origin, they are nonetheless cultivators who have attained the path. Gao Xuan, though of the Human Race, is vicious and cruel. For his own selfish desires he would blood-sacrifice all beings under heaven. Such a person is the true peerless demon!"
"There is sense in those words."
The Ten Suffering Bodhisattva expressed his agreement. Indeed, one could not judge demonhood by birth.
The Xiankong Ancestor hastily added, "Master is compassionate, may you help us subdue Gao Xuan. We thirty-seven Demon Emperors are willing henceforth to put our faith in the Buddha Venerable..."
"Noisy. Faith or no faith lies in one’s own heart. How can it be used as a bargaining chip."
The Ten Suffering Bodhisattva flicked his sleeve, and the Xiankong Ancestor, who still wanted to argue, was swept up together with the Celestial Corpse and expelled from this heaven and earth.
Though the two Demon Emperors were first-rate Earth Immortals of this era, they had no power to resist before the Ten Suffering Bodhisattva. Besides, the two Demon Emperors did not dare to resist.
