Chapter 973: Chapter 52 Sword Saint Imparts Skills_2

Xuan Yue floated silently above the enormous magic hexagram. Her pale, crystalline skin was completely enveloped in the golden divine light of the Six-Wing Angel. It had been half a year, and she had grown slightly taller, her face exuded an incredibly sacred aura that made her resemble a goddess, and her inviolable demeanor added a stunning brilliance to her beautiful features. From her chest, the Phoenix’s Blood emitted a faint red glow, subtly absorbing the golden energy under the flickering halo.

The Pope thought to himself: Yue Yue! Once you have completed the divine baptism, who knows what effect your future cultivation will have. Perhaps, you will be the most powerful goddess in the history of the clergy.

...

After completing twenty-seven cycles of meditative practice, Ah Dai slowly ended his meditation and woke up, with the silver figure in his Dantian fully restored to its radiantly shining state.

"Master, I have restored my strength," Ah Dai said respectfully.

The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang looked at him, a look of delight crossing his face as if admiring a piece of art he had created himself. After a long while, when Ah Dai felt somewhat uncomfortable under his gaze, the Sword Saint finally spoke, "Child, you are about to leave this place. Master has some things to caution you about, listen carefully, these are things you must do in the future."

Listening to the words of the Sword Saint, a hint of sorrow appeared in Ah Dai’s eyes. He knew he had to leave, with the time of his agreement with the Elf Queen diminishing day by day. However, facing the white-haired Sword Saint stirred some indescribable feelings in him. "Master, please speak, I will listen to everything you say."

The Sword Saint smiled slightly and asked, "Child, what do you think of my strength?"

Ah Dai was taken aback and replied, "Master is the most incredible person I have ever seen. I cannot describe your strength; it just seems like no one could possibly defeat you."

The Sword Saint shook his head and said, "There are always higher skies to reach, and with such a vast continent, who knows where there might be someone with skills superior to mine? But indeed, my strength has reached its limit. There will be no further breakthroughs for me. Therefore, I must go to another world to cultivate, where perhaps I might glimpse a new realm."

"Another world? What is that?" Ah Dai found it hard to understand the Sword Saint’s words.

The Sword Saint spoke indifferently, "I do not know what exists there, but it is a place I must visit. Perhaps, it is where people worship the Sky God."

"The dwelling of the Sky God? Master, can you return from there? Will I be able to see you again?"

The Sword Saint shook his head and said, "I do not know what that place is like; I’m afraid no one in this realm knows."

Ah Dai looked bewilderedly at the Sword Saint and muttered, "Then, won’t I never see you again? I will miss you!"

The Sword Saint felt a warmth in his heart and smilingly said, "Silly child, you are extremely talented. At such a young age, you have already achieved so much. Master believes that one day, you too will ascend to the realm of the Sky God. Then, won’t we meet again? If you want to see your Master again, you must strive hard!"

Ah Dai said firmly, "Master, rest assured, I will diligently practice and once my strength reaches your realm, I will definitely visit you in that other world you mentioned."

The Sword Saint looked into Ah Dai’s determined eyes, feeling no regrets whatsoever. He hadn’t lied to Ah Dai; with his level of power, he might be able to reach that elusive other world. However, he had made a decision related to Ah Dai. After this decision was made, he did not know whether he would be able to ascend to another realm. But he would not change this decision. Not much was known about the Divine Realm, and instead of pinning hopes on it, it was better to leave something useful behind.

"Ah Dai, since Master is leaving anyway, the power I possess is of no use to me. I will pass it all on to you." This was the decision of the Sword Saint. In truth, had the Sword Saint not decided to transfer all his power to Ah Dai, he could have lived another decade despite his age, given his state of cultivation. But by then, his power would gradually decline. Even if he lived to see the millennium calamity, because his power would have waned, it would no longer be of any use. The Sword Saint did not want his years of arduous cultivation to go to waste, so he was willing to give up his remaining life to transfer his abilities to Ah Dai. This involved many reasons: an attachment to his power, trust in Ah Dai, an apology to Owen, affection for the Tian Gang Sword Sect, and a commitment to help the people of the land withstand the millennium calamity.

Ah Dai was startled and exclaimed, "How can that be, Master? You have already given me so much. If you transfer all your power to me, how will you survive in that other world!" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

"Silly child, once in that other world, all the power from this realm will vanish. Since Master can’t carry it with him, it’s better to leave it to you." The Sword Saint had said all this with the primary goal of preparing Ah Dai to accept the infusion of his power with a calm heart.

Ah Dai felt something was amiss and muttered, "But, but Master, are you sure it won’t affect you?"
