Chapter 884: Chapter 34: The Giant Dragon’s Egg_3

Xuan Yue played with the Inquiry Ring in her hands, loving it more and more, "Auntie, is this really for me? Such a beautiful bracelet!"

The Elf Queen spoke solemnly, "Child, you must keep this bracelet safe and never lose it. Otherwise, if those with evil intentions get their hands on it, it will be much easier for them to capture our people. Do you understand?"

Xuan Yue nodded and slipped the sparkling Inquiry Ring onto her left wrist. With a giggle, she said, "Don’t worry, auntie, I will definitely protect it."

The Elf Queen walked up to Ah Dai and Xuan Yue. Her height was similar to Xuan Yue’s, and she had to flutter her wings to float up to the same level as Ah Dai. Just like the Red Robe Priest had done initially, the Elf Queen’s voice resonated within Ah Dai’s heart, "Child, you have such a good heart, so kind. Among all the humans I have met, none can compare to you."

Ah Dai scratched his head and said, "Auntie, I’m actually quite dumb, I learn everything much slower than others."

The Elf Queen smiled faintly and said, "Although wisdom is important, kindness is even more valuable. I want to give you something. I have kept it for over a hundred years. Perhaps, it will be best used in your hands." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Ah Dai was startled and said, "What is it?"

The Elf Queen smiled mysteriously and said, "You’ll understand when you see it." Ending the telepathic communication, she told the senior elf envoys, "Do as we discussed earlier, you know what to do."

Odin and the others nodded and respectfully agreed. The Elf Queen said, "Ah Dai, come with me." With that, she flew outside. Ah Dai hurriedly followed her. He was curious about what the Elf Queen was going to give him. If it was too precious, he definitely couldn’t accept it.

Seeing Ah Dai follow the Elf Queen out, Xuan Yue quickly ran after them, only to be stopped by Odin, "Miss, you should stay here. To ensure your safety while you search for our people on the continent, we need to do something for you."

Xuan Yue was startled and, although a bit displeased, she stopped. Tian Ying quietly walked out, and the four senior elf envoys exchanged glances, each chanting different elf spells.

Ah Dai and the Elf Queen left the tree-house just in time to see Moon Scar and the others looking melancholic by Elf Lake. Before he could greet them, he noticed his body was enveloped by a green glow and slowly began to float. Moon Scar and the others watched in amazement. The Elf Queen, flapping her wings, led Ah Dai toward the center of Elf Lake and the Elf ancient tree. Looking down at the clear lake water and the mist floating around him in the green glow, Ah Dai felt as if he was entering a fairyland. When the Elf Queen brought him to the Elf ancient tree, he couldn’t help but sigh, "What a huge tree!"

Turning to smile at him, the Elf Queen waved gently towards the tree, causing the branches to part as she led Ah Dai inside. Feeling as if he were in a dream, Ah Dai observed the strange sights around him and secretly marveled. "Ah Dai, we have arrived," called the Elf Queen, snapping him out of his reverie.

"Wow! What a big tree-house! Auntie, do you live here?"

The Elf Queen nodded with a smile and said, "Yes, this is Auntie’s home. You are the first foreigner to visit here." Soon, they landed on the platform outside the tree-house. The Elf Queen opened the door and led Ah Dai inside. The interior of the tree-house was simply furnished, divided into an inner and outer room. The Elf Queen took Ah Dai’s hand and walked into the smaller inner room, which contained only a wooden bed. Standing in the center of the room, she waved her hands, and a green, magic hexagram appeared in the air. Pressing her hands down, the hexagram enlarged and imprinted itself on the floor. The Elf Queen directed Ah Dai, "Come, stand in the center of this hexagram." Ah Dai complied, and the Elf Queen floated in front of him, smiling, "We’re going down." A flash of green light soon blurred his vision. His body felt warm and comfortable, as if basking in hot sunlight, the True Qi within him circulating, absorbing the warm energy, rejuvenating him and transforming the True Qi into a vibrant scene. After an unknown amount of time, the light suddenly disappeared, everything changed, and the tree-house vanished. Under the Elf Queen’s magic, they had arrived in a sealed space, about ten square meters in size, with all wooden walls. The room held many odd items. The sudden change startled Ah Dai, prompting him to ask, "Auntie, where are we?"

The Elf Queen replied, "We are inside the body of the Elf ancient tree! Look, what is that?"

Following the direction the Elf Queen pointed, Ah Dai saw a wooden rack in the corner of the room, not very tall, with a conical wooden basin on it. The basin was about three-quarters full of clear water, and a giant egg was immersed in it, with one-third of the egg exposed. The oval egg was about half a meter long in diameter and had some strange patterns on it, very conspicuous in the room. Ah Dai, stunned, said, "Auntie, you’re not giving me this egg, are you?"
