Xuan Yue hummed discontentedly and said to the young girl, "Then we’ll call ourselves the Angel Mercenary Group, that sounds nice, right?"
The young girl looked down and checked before saying, "I’m sorry, miss, but that name is already taken by another Mercenary Corps. Please choose another."
Xuan Yue was stunned for a moment, then huffed, "Even coming up with a name has to be duplicated, it’s infuriating. It’s all your fault, upsetting me first thing in the morning. Ah Dai’s body shuddered, and the intense pain made him let out an involuntary groan. Xuan Yue was startled and then realized there was an injury on Ah Dai’s arm. After glancing at Ah Dai, whose body was slightly trembling, she said to the young girl, "Then we’ll call ourselves the Evil Sky Mercenary Group, capturing the essence of both angels and demons." She turned and glared at Ah Dai, "You’re always so cold, the title of demon suits you the best."
Ah Dai clenched his teeth and endured the pain in his arm, thinking to himself who the real demon was.
The young girl smiled and said, "Magician miss, please wait a moment. I’ll go make the corresponding Mercenary Cards for you. It won’t take long, and meanwhile, you can take a look at the missions at the task counter."
Xuan Yue agreed and pulled Ah Dai to one side to look at the large blackboard behind the task counter.
Just then, a voice sounded behind them, "Magician miss, I wonder if we could have a talk." A middle-aged man in Red Leather Armor appeared behind them, with neatly combed, fiery red hair, and a Wide Sword on his back. While it wasn’t as large as Ah Dai’s Tian Gang Sword, it still qualified as a Heavy Sword.
Xuan Yue’s beautiful eyes moved as she sized him up, "Talk? What’s there to talk about?"
The middle-aged man smiled slightly, pointing to the symbol of a red tornado carved on his chest, "I am the captain of the first warrior squad of the Red Charming Mercenary Group. I would like to invite both magicians to join our Mage Group. The terms we offer are very generous."
Xuan Yue and Ah Dai were both taken aback. Even with their limited knowledge, they knew of the fame of the Red Charming Mercenary Group—a large corps with tens of thousands of members, the top of the Mercenary World. Its strength was unmatched by any other Mercenary Corps. The presence of the middle-aged man also caused members of other small Mercenary Corps to fall back; no one wished to offend the Red Charming Mercenary Group, for its influence in the Mercenary World was equivalent to that of the Holy Church on the entire continent.
Xuan Yue didn’t care about the strength of their Mercenary Corps, her voice cold, "Didn’t you see we just registered our own Mercenary Corps?"
The middle-aged man smiled, "That’s easy to handle. There are two ways to solve this: one is for you to cancel your Mercenary Corps immediately, and the other is for our Red Charming Mercenary Group to incorporate yours, at an advantageous price."

The middle-aged man smiled slightly and said, "That makes things even easier. If you have the support of our Red Charming Mercenary Group, you could take on those difficult tasks and better experience the true essence of adventure, couldn’t you?"
Upon hearing his words, Xuan Yue felt a flicker of temptation but soon dismissed the thought of joining. If her father learned that she had joined a Mercenary Corps, who knows what he would think? Although he doted on her, if he found out she had done something that brought shame to the Church, she might not be able to escape confinement. "Magician miss, your cards are ready." It was the young girl returning, holding two white Magic Cards in her hand.
Ignoring the middle-aged man, Xuan Yue walked with Ah Dai to the registration counter, took the cards, and asked, "What are these for?"
The young girl explained, "Since you are the Head of the Evil Sky Mercenary Group, your card contains information about your Mercenary Corps as well as your personal information. Your Mercenary Corps is currently at the lowest rank, level four, but as you complete missions of increasing difficulty and quantity, the rank will increase. Since you are a Mage, we’ve assigned you at Mercenary Level three, which will also increase with accomplished tasks. The Mage’s card is similar to yours. Please keep your cards safe, and if lost, come to the Guild to get a replacement as soon as possible. Present these cards when you accept missions. Also, these are the badges for a level three mercenary, for you."
