Chapter 805: Chapter 18 The Red Bishop

Ah Dai had just thought to refuse, but suddenly he found that his body could not move at all. It was not an uncomfortable feeling, but rather the immense pressure of the sacred energy acting upon him. His mind became blurry, and before he knew it, he was walking toward Xuan Yue’s room. The Red Bishop said nothing more, nor did he pay any attention to the trembling Kigg, and, with two White Robe Priests and a contingent of Silver Armored Warriors as their escort, followed Ah Dai at a slow pace. It was not until he reached the door that Ah Dai regained his senses. He turned around abruptly, looking at the Red Robe Priest with astonishment and said, "What, what did you do to me?"

The Red Bishop spoke indifferently, "God has guided you. Open the door."

Ah Dai realized that it was too late for Xuan Yue to hide anymore. With no other choice, he reluctantly opened the door. To his surprise, there was no one in the room—aside from some ruffled bedding, the only thing present was a blood-stained White Mage Robe.

The Red Robe Priest did not seem surprised, simply sighing and saying, "This girl, she’s getting naughtier and naughtier. Alas—"

The female White Robe Priest hurried forward a few steps, reached the bed, and snatched up the bloodied Mage Robe, her voice trembling as she said, "Ah! Yue Yue really is injured." Her voice was exceptionally soft and pleasant to hear, as if it came from a celestial realm, and even in her anxiety, it did not lose its alluring charm.

The Red Bishop said, "Nasha, don’t worry, Yue Yue will be fine. Let’s go to the front first."

The White Robe Priest walked quickly to the front of the Red Bishop, lifted her cloak in one swift motion, and said angrily, "She’s my daughter, how can I not worry? Aren’t you supposed to be all-powerful? Find Yue Yue quickly; if anything happens to her, I won’t want to live anymore."

Ah Dai watched the White Robe Priest in a daze. Her waterfall-like blue hair was revealed to everyone when she flipped her cloak back, her fair skin slightly flush. The anxious look in her eyes was almost identical to Xuan Yue’s. She appeared to be only twenty-eight or twenty-nine years old, her stunning face showing a hint of sorrow, with a trace of distress apparent in her expression. That was a familiar face; ah, that’s right, Xuan Yue and she looked nearly identical.

The Red Bishop seemed somewhat embarrassed, coughing slightly, and personally redraped Nasha’s cloak for her, "I have already calculated. Yue Yue will be fine. Outside, try not to be too rash."

Nasha seemed to realize that she might have overreacted, lowering her head and falling silent, yet her hand clutching the Mage Robe trembled slightly.

The Red Bishop turned to Ah Dai saying, "Young friend, let’s go to the front together; I have something to ask you."

Under the overwhelming presence of the group, Ah Dai couldn’t even think of resisting and merely followed them back to the rear hall. Kigg and the others were still standing in their previous spots, and when they saw that Xuan Yue was not among those returning, their faces immediately turned pale.

The Red Bishop approached Kigg and stopped, "Tell me everything about your encounter with my daughter."

Kigg bowed his head, speaking respectfully, "Yes, Bishop. This morning..." He dared not hide anything and detailed the entire process of how Xuan Yue had come to this place, how she had been tested for magic, "... In the end, she left with Miss Thousand Gold and this young friend. When they came back, Miss Thousand Gold was injured." When the Red Bishop heard that Ah Dai had absorbed Xuan Yue’s magic power with a ring, he glanced at Ah Dai, who felt like he had been hit by a powerful energy. It was the Red Bishop’s spiritual power.

The Red Bishop turned to Ah Dai, speaking faintly, "Tell me the whole process of what you did outside, without omitting anything."

Ah Dai was momentarily startled, the pressure on him seemed to lessen substantially, and, after moving slightly, he said, "Uncle, don’t worry, Yue Yue’s injury is already healed, she should be fine, maybe she just didn’t want to see you and ran away." For some reason, Ah Dai felt a kind of kinship with the stunning White Robe Priest, and the sacred aura of the Red Bishop inspired in him a feeling of respect.

A Silver Armored Warrior shouted, "How dare you! Who gave you permission to speak to the Bishop that way? Are you authorized to address the young lady by name?"

The Red Bishop said, "Let him continue. Young friend, tell me everything you know. My daughter has been gone for several days, and I am very eager to find her."

"Oh," replied Ah Dai, and he recounted everything—how Xuan Yue had made him her follower, how they went to the Steamed Bun shop to repay money, and later, how she got injured.

The Red Bishop’s voice grew colder, "So, are you saying that my daughter tried to commit suicide because she was angry with you?"

Ah Dai scratched his head and replied, "It seems like it."

The Red Bishop sighed and shook his head slightly, "My daughter is really too headstrong, causing you all this trouble—I’m truly sorry. Mr. Kigg, if you see her again, I hope you can hold her and inform the church in the city, can you?"

Kigg quickly agreed, saying, "It would be an honor for me."

The Red Bishop addressed Ah Dai, "This time, it’s my daughter’s fault. As her father, I apologize to you here."

Ah Dai hurriedly replied, "There’s no need to apologize; I’m also to blame. If I hadn’t gotten angry with her, she wouldn’t have been hurt."
