The fierce battle on the mountainside had reached a fever pitch. Under the full-scale onslaught of the Allied Forces, the dark alien races were continually pushed back. Except for the Moon King, Wing King, and the Dwarf King, whose powers had been crippled, all twelve Heaven Kings had perished. The number of dark alien races had diminished to half their original size. The heavy armored soldiers of the human race, already superior in strength, now had an overwhelming numerical advantage. The Allied Forces advanced relentlessly. To avoid extinction, the Wing King and Dwarf King both surrendered. The Moon King was jointly eliminated by Xi Wen and Xuan Yuan, crushing the dark alien races completely. Xi Wen roped in several juniors from the human alliance to restrain the surrendering dark alien races and, summoned the Pope, the three Red Robe Priests, the three Sword Saints, and various human leaders, to ascend swiftly towards the peak. This coincided with Ah Dai and Xuan Yue blasting away Nazgul and rushing towards the summit.
At the foot of the main peak, the fierce battle between Sheng Xie and Heralbink was ongoing. Both these formidable dragons had significantly injured each other. Scales were falling continuously, and they were gasping heavily. They were ready for the next round of attack, the situation was a deadly do-or-die. Over time, Sheng Xie gradually mastered his new body and gained a slight upper hand. Despite this, he couldn’t possibly eliminate the evil dragon Heralbink in a short time. Driven by powerful hatred, Sheng Xie’s momentum surged, while Heralbink became slightly dispirited. At that moment, a massive crimson light suddenly burst from the main peak of the Death Mountain Range. The light targeted the blood moon, immense dark clouds churned, thunderous sounds erupted in the sky, and the air was permeated with killing intent and an Evil Aura.
The evil dragon Heralbink laughed out loud, "Good, good! Finally, it’s a success. You and the humans have only one fate, extinction. The entrance to the Demon Realm has opened, you all just wait for death." Heralbink then charged fearlessly at Sheng Xie again. Sheng Xie was shocked but had to defend against Heralbink’s attack without much thought and returned to the fight. The two giant dragons tussled in the sky again. They didn’t notice that Bonehead who was injured badly, was slowly getting up. He stared at Heralbink with intense hate filled eyes.
As Heralbink had mentioned, Ah Dai was too late. When he climbed to the summit of the main peak of the Death Mountain Range, he saw an enormous altar at the center with four pitch-black robed individuals around it. At the top of the altar, another black-robed figure was chanting spells rapidly. Six blood-red symbols on the altar each contained a slight golden glow. Just when Ah Dai was about to strike, the individual at the altar let out a loud yell; a cloud of red mist engulfed the entire altar. The gold glimmer on the six symbols disappeared. The black-robed figure yelled, "Let the gateway to the Demon Realm open!"
Ah Dai was surprised. He let go of Xuan Yue’s hand and charged at the altar at full speed. When he was about to reach the altar, a potent blood light burst out from it. An evil aura, even stronger than that of the Sword of Hades, burst forth. Ah Dai swung the Sumeru Sword at the enemy’s blood-red light column. The moment the golden glow met the blood column, an irresistible force knocked him back. The evil aura seeped into his body seemingly wanting to take over. He finally managed to expel it with all his strength, using his True Qi. He felt heavy-hearted; he was indeed late. The gateway to the Demon Realm was now opened. The black-robed figure on the altar laughed, "Finally, it’s a success; a thousand years of effort paid off. Almighty God of Netherworld, please descend to this world, bring darkness to it, and wipe out these ignorant humans completely."
Xuan Yue supported Ah Dai’s body and barked angrily, "You are the head of the Dark Saint Church?"
The black-robed figure sneered, "Exactly, I’m the head of the Dark Saint Church. The gateway to the Demon Realm has been opened. No one can stop the descent of the God of Netherworld. You have to wait for your death."
Ah Dai looked deeply at Xuan Yue, transmitting his voice resolutely, "Yue Yue, assist me. The gateway to the Demon Realm has just opened, we may still have a chance." He then launched attacks towards the Head of Dark Saint Church and the four seniors simultaneously with the Sumeru Sword. His hand’s aura soon flourished; his Solid Battle Aura had reached its peak.
