It was clear she wasn’t sleeping soundly. Gently stroking the braid on Xuan Yue’s head and quickly eating the food left for him, Ah Dai carefully picked her up and headed towards the room.

Dawn came.
"Ah——" A sharp scream woke Ah Dai from his sweet dream, where he was helping Master Goris with a magic experiment. Rubbing his sleepy eyes, he gazed at the sight before him. Xuan Yue was gawking at him, her body still nestled in his arms, feeling indescribably comfortable.
Xuan Yue had just woken up, in her sleep she had thought she was nestled in her mother’s arms. After running around for so many days, this was the first time she had slept so comfortably. When she woke up and discovered that she wasn’t in her mother’s arms, but rather, nestled in the arms of that silly boy, she yelled out, her brain suddenly going blank and temporarily unable to think.
