Scaling the mountain, Ah Dai could see Qian Qian’s territory. Everything was the same as when he had last visited. Straining his voice, he yelled towards the valley, "Qian Qian, I’m back." His voice, powered by his True Qi, reverberated deep into the valley. After a while, he saw a figure flying up from below. Ah Dai’s heart leapt. If he could successfully reunite with Qian Qian, then the Allied Forces’ chances of successfully eliminating the Dark Forces would greatly increase. As he watched, the figure became more discernible. However, it was not Qian Qian’s petite figure, but a person entirely shrouded in black. Ah Dai’s instincts tingled warningly. Though this person did not look like an Undead Creature, the dangerous aura emanating from them was palpable.

The figure in black quickly approached Ah Dai who was floating in the void. With a pair of black wings and a horn protruding from their head, Ah Dai’s heart stirred and he recognized who was before him. His anger ignited and the Sumeru Sword materialized in his hand once more. Its dominant aura forced the figure in black to halt, hovering a hundred meters away. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

"You, I remember you, do you remember me?" The figure asked before removing the black hood that obscured their face, revealing a scale-covered and distorted face. The eyes flashed a murderous red glow. Ah Dai was taken aback; his anger surged as he lifted the Sumeru Sword, "Even if you turn to ashes, I will still recognise you. Today, do not expect to escape unscathed. Under my Sumeru Sword, you won’t get the chance to run away." It was the Guild Leader of the Assassin’s Guild.

The Guild Leader had been taken aback when Ah Dai had first summoned the Sumeru Sword. Its overwhelming energy made it hard for him to breathe. However, he remained composed and confidently said,"Let’s see who’s the one to die today. Before we fight, there’s something I want to show you." Suddenly, a black fog materialized around his scaled hand, gradually forming a cylindrical shape. The fog dissipated, revealing a glass jar in his hand. Inside the jar was an incredibly tiny, white figure that Ah Dai recognized instantly - it was the Undead Fairy, Qian Qian, her eyes closed as if she were enduring tremendous pain.

"You recognise her, don’t you? If I’m not mistaken, you led the attack on Death Mountain Range not long ago, where you managed to pacify the Resentful Spirits and tamed this Undead Fairy. I must say, I’m quite impressed. However, don’t think you’ll easily pass the Twelve Undead Trials. The Undead Fairy seems quite fond of you, so when we captured her, we tried to force her to tell us who pacified her, but she refused."

Although worried, Ah Dai knew he had to remain composed. While maintaining the energy of the Sumeru Sword, he calmly replied,"You knew about the disappearance of the Resentful Spirits, but how did you know about my friendship with the Undead Fairy? In this vast territory, finding her couldn’t have been easy."

"Difficult? Nothing’s difficult," the Guild Leader scoffed. "You’re underestimating the Church of the Dark Saint. We were aware of every single movement in the Death Mountain Range. How could her change go unnoticed? Although she has grown stronger since becoming a God Spirit, under the combined onslaught of our elders’ Dark Spirit Shackles, she had no chance. Now, she’s sealed in this jar. With just one spell, she’ll cease to exist."

Suppressing his rage, Ah Dai coolly asked,"What are you planning? Are you trying to use her to threaten me?"

With a confident smile, the Guild Leader said,"Indeed, I am. You are undoubtedly powerful. In just two days, under your leadership, you’ve managed to reach the seventh checkpoint. But, you have a weakness. Do you know what it is? Of course, you do. You’re too soft-hearted towards your friends. That’s why you’ll never achieve greatness. I’m convinced that you can’t bear to see the Undead Fairy die in my hands."
