Chapter 662: Chapter 183: Story of the Undead Fairy_5

Ah Dai’s expression grew increasingly more pained, and the silver protective shield around his body continued to produce wave-like vibrations. It seemed as if he could barely hang on any longer. Right at the moment when Xuan Yue and the others were becoming quite anxious, a blue light shone from Ah Dai’s chest, rapidly spreading throughout his body and replacing the original silver protective shield. Ah Dai’s body slowly relaxed its convulsive movements, and it seemed the pain had lessened. Once again, all became quiet, him returning to his former state, peacefully floating there. Xiao Bone joyfully said, "Thank goodness, my master seems to be getting the upper hand."

Inside the Sea of Consciousness. Right when Ah Dai’s soul was about to be completely devoured by the Undead Fairy, a blue energy mixed with golden light instantly enveloped his Golden Body and soul. This forcefully pulled Ah Dai’s soul and consciousness back, reuniting them with the Golden Body. Ah Dai could clearly feel the warmth coming from the surroundings of his body. With a big jolt, his powerful Golden Body managed to stabilize itself in the vortex with the help of that energy. The Sea of Consciousness around the vortex was dramatically fluctuating, and a milky-white liquid swiftly drilled into the vortex. A bright light shone in Ah Dai’s eyes as he forcefully gripped a rope of thought he controlled, utilizing its power to escape from this vortex filled with death and Devouring. Safe within the blue glowing bubble, Ah Dai’s soul and consciousness had not suffered any harm, and he forcefully left the black hole that was impossible to escape from. With a thud, he fell once again into the Sea of Consciousness, regaining control over his body, and a feeling of having passed through a lifetime passed over him that shocked him into breaking a sweat. If the Divine Dragon had not just recently changed Ah Dai’s spiritual essence, completely merging his soul with the Dragon’s Blood, his consciousness might already have disappeared under the Undead Fairy’s powerful Soul Devouring.

"You, how can you have his power? This, this is the power of the Dragon’s Blood!" An incredulous yell of disbelief rose through the air, the black vortex disappeared, and the Undead Fairy’s body reappeared in front of Ah Dai, suspended above the Sea of Consciousness. Her delicate body was trembling continuously, her eyes filled with sorrow and longing. Her face was even whiter than it has been before.

Ah Dai, somewhat breathlessly, snapped: "You are truly despicable, stop playing the victim in front of me. I won’t give you a chance to sneak attack me again. Be gone!" He brought his hands together, and the blue light around his body blazed up; the Sea of Consciousness immediately began to fluctuate violently. Ah Dai separated his hands and forcefully pushed out at the Undead Fairy. A colossal wave, mixed with the Divine Energy of the Dragon’s Blood, rapidly rushed towards her.

It seemed as though the Undead Fairy had yet to recover from her shock, and she just subconsciously started to drift up, avoiding Ah Dai’s spiritual attack. "Don’t attack, I have something to ask you." Her beautiful eyes shimmered with a pleading look. But how could Ah Dai, who had just been tricked once, effortlessly trust her again? Controlling the increasingly skilled mental energy within the Sea of Consciousness, he launched one powerful attack after another. Angered by the continuous attacks, the Undead Fairy, the energy of her delicate body stopped mid-air, and each of her hands conjured up an energy similar to a black vortex, blocking Ah Dai’s attacks numerous attacks in a row. Angrily, she said: "Kid, don’t think that I’m afraid of you. Even if you have support from Dragon’s Blood, defeating me won’t be that easy. I have a question for you, you can fight after I asked it."

Snorting coldly, Ah Dai ceased his mental attack but controlled the Sea of Consciousness to form a sturdy barrier around his body, "What good is there to talk with a vile creature like you. I won’t be fooled by you again."

The Undead Fairy retracted the black energy in her hands and quietly said, "In terms of spiritual power, almost no one can exceed me, not even beings whose spiritual power far outstrips mine. I want to ask you, where did you get this Dragon’s Blood? Did he give it to you? You must be his disciple, right?"

Ah Dai was taken aback and asked, "Who are you talking about? The Dragon’s Blood was not given to me by my master."

The Undead Fairy growled resentfully: "Who else could it be but that bastard God Feather? Tell me, what’s your relationship with him? You look so ordinary, how could he, who always values appearances, accept a disciple like you."
