In the state of desirelessness, Ah Dai’s True Qi made continuous progress, transforming into a liquid energy of dark gold color that was continuously enhancing in sync with his circulating cycles. With the volume of True Qi continuously increasing, Ah Dai discovered that his golden body had undergone changes. His bare body suddenly had meticulous ridges, as if his golden body had put on armor, and its energy was continually magnifying.
Time continually passed by, and even Ah Dai wasn’t sure how many circulation cycles he had practiced. His True Qi had eventually filled up inside him, and his golden body had entirely turned dark gold, its surging energy ready to burst forth.
Taking a deep breath, Ah Dai slowly opened his eyes. Everything in the room seemed to have changed, just like when his master, the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang, had transferred power to him. Every detail in the room was filled with vibrant colors and was incredibly clear. Ah Dai could even easily differentiate the wood grain on his table.
Just by thinking, Ah Dai’s body floated down to the ground. He was surprised to find that a faint golden glow was circulating on the surface of his skin. Touching it, his skin seemed much tougher than before, as if his golden body had put on armor. It gave him an additional layer of defense. Comparatively, his skin was no worse than the Giant Spirit Snake Armor he wore. With a wave of his hands, a silver light band floated out. The silver light was even more crystalline than when he had just reached the sixth transformation realm. The energy was entirely internalized, and from the surface, one could hardly sense its powerful strength. Moreover, Ah Dai was surprised to find that his once domineering presence had vanished. Standing before a mirror, he appeared like any ordinary person. What he did not realize was that through this training, he had surpassed the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang and had reached the peak of martial arts - the Realm of Returning to Nature.
After the training, Ah Dai felt his previously chaotic emotions had calmed down. Everything around him seemed to originate from principles and logic. The second golden body in his chest had become even smaller, its body less than two inches high, its glow dampened significantly. Ah Dai believed that if he could wholly utilize the second golden body, he would certainly reach the highest realm of transformation mentioned by the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang.
Scratching his head, Ah Dai mumbled: "Don’t know what time is it. Let’s go out and see. This training must have lasted more than just a day and night." Resorbing the faint golden light emitted from his body, he opened the door and walked out, coming face-to-face with a hotel attendant. Seeing Ah Dai, the attendant showed a touch of surprise. Coming closer, he said, "Sir, you’re finally out! Since you moved in, you haven’t stepped out once. We were worried something had happened to you. We tried to open the door from the outside a few times, but it seemed something was barring it from the inside."
Ah Dai knew that the reason they couldn’t get in was because his True Qi had filled the room and formed a barrier around it, sealing it off entirely. Apologetically, he said: "I’m sorry. I’m a samurai practicing martial arts. I’ve been training these past few days, which is why the room was blocked. May I ask how many days it has been since I came here?"
The attendant looked at Ah Dai, puzzled. "I see! You’ve been here for about seven or eight days, I think. You can check at the counter. By the way, if you want to stay longer, you’ll need to settle your room fee."
Ah Dai nodded, thanked the attendant, and headed towards the inn’s counter. The inn wasn’t very large, but its lobby was quite distinctive. All around were transparent glasses, allowing one to see the sights on the streets outside. During the day, it was brightly lit. Ah Dai walked leisurely towards the counter and said to the staff, "Hello, I am a guest in room 36, please settle my bill."
The female receptionist glanced at Ah Dai, picked up the ledger to check. In the meantime, Ah Dai looked around. Through the transparent glass, a huge crowd gathered outside the inn on the street caught his eye. He couldn’t help but ask the receptionist, "Why are there so many people outside? Has something big happened in the city?"
The receptionist replied while flipping through the ledger, "No, it’s not just the city, something big has happened all over the continent."
Ah Dai was startled, thinking, could it be the Dark Forces stirring trouble again? He hurriedly asked, "What big thing happened?"
The receptionist, a tad annoyed, replied: "There’s an announcement outside; everyone is watching. If you go out and see it, you’ll know. Oh, found it, your room fee totals fourteen Gold Coins and five Silver Coins."
Paying the room fee, Ah Dai quickly walked out of the inn.
It seemed to be noon time, with the sun hanging high in the sky. Its direct rays brought warmth and comfort. The streets were bustling with people. Not far from the inn, hundreds of commoners were gathered, appearing to be looking at something. Driven by curiosity, Ah Dai strolled towards the crowd. As soon as he neared the crowd, he could hear the noisy chatter.
"Who could have thought! The Church actually has such a young Red Bishop. I reckon his wedding will be grand. But alas, due to my lowly status, I’d be lucky if I could go to the Divine Mountain and enjoy the festivities."
"Exactly! I want to see it too. Perhaps, at the Divine Mountain, we might get to see His Holiness, the Pope? If I could pay my respects to His Holiness, the Pope, my life would be complete."...
