Chapter 582: Chapter 163: Mad Grim Reaper_2
Ah Dai raised his hand, flashing the silvery light, instantly dispelling Tiro’s full-strength fire-based fighting spirit, "Tiro, don’t worry, I will fulfill your desires." His body swiftly moved forward as if sliding, the resplendent fragile blade coated in silver light suddenly slashed towards Tiro. In this split second, Tiro suddenly felt as though the air surrounding his body had vanished. He had lost all ability to move. In the midst of immense shock, he strained to concentrate his fighting spirit to the limit in an attempt to resist Ah Dai’s attack. However, the solid energy blade of silver at the sixth transformation was something even a Sword Saint level expert wouldn’t dare to face lightly, let alone him. With a flash of light, Tiro felt a chill running down his left shoulder, as if something was spraying out from his body. Within seconds, the numb and cold sensation vanished, replaced by unbearable piercing pain that stimulated Tiro’s nerves. "Ahh..." A scream akin to a slaughtered pig sounded, and Tiro horrifyingly discovered that his left arm was severed from his body.
Ah Dai floated between Tiro and Rong Rong, rapidly sealing their acupoints with flashes of silver light. Under the function of the vital fighting spirit, the gushing wound on Tiro’s left shoulder, which was spraying fresh blood, suddenly stopped bleeding. Overwhelmed with fear amid the overpowering murderous aura, Tiro pleaded in a trembling voice, "Don’t, don’t kill me, don’t kill me, I won’t seek revenge."
Ah Dai, covered in chilling aura like the coldest winter day, pronounced each word deliberately, "But—I—will—seek—revenge—on—you—"
Suppressing wave after wave of intense stabbing pain, Tiro’s face twitched uncontrollably. He murmured, "But I didn’t offend you!"
An icy smile appeared at the corner of Ah Dai’s mouth. He nodded and replied, "Yes, you didn’t offend me, but you did offend someone else. Do you remember the girl?"
"Girl?" Tiro’s heart trembled. Of course, he knew that Tifya was called ’girl’ before she came to the Governor’s Mansion. He murmured, "You’re talking about Freya. Who... who are you exactly?"
Ah Dai chuckled coldly, "Who am I? I am Ah Dai, the girl’s fiancé. I assume you’ve heard about me. I also have another nickname, the Grim Reaper. I don’t blame you for pursuing the girl, or being with her. But you, a beast, you know better than I do what you did to her."
Upon hearing Ah Dai’s words, Tiro was instantly dumbfounded, he didn’t expect the simple-minded youth standing before him possessing profound martial ability to be the very person the ’girl’ could never forget. Seeing the thick murderous intent in Ah Dai’s eyes, he realized that Ah Dai was here to take his life. On the brink of life and death, fear invaded him. His voice trembled as he spoke, "I... I recognize my mistake. I wronged Freya. I know my mistake... Please... don’t kill me... I promise... to treat her well from now on. She’s carrying my child... You wouldn’t want to see Freya’s child grow up without a father... Spare me... I... Ah—" In his screams, Tiro’s right arm fell to the ground where the silver light had passed.
Tiro shouldn’t have mentioned the child, the moment he did, Ah Dai found it hard to resist killing him instantly. His clenched fists crackled. Ah Dai coldly said, "Child, you have the audacity to mention the child! That day when you brutally beat up the girl, her child was no more. Want to treat the girl well? You should go accompany her in Hell. She’s already dead. The hatred between you and me can never be resolved. Tiro, you beast, today I shall repay you a hundredfold, no, a thousandfold for the pain you inflicted upon her." Grabbing Tiro by his collar, Ah Dai slammed him hard onto the ground. Tiro’s face turned deathly pale, his body convulsed continuously. He knew that Ah Dai wouldn’t let him off the hook. He screamed in horror, "Even if you kill me, you won’t live. My grandfather is the Governor of Mica Province. You can’t escape Mica Province. My grandfather will definitely kill you."
Ah Dai squatted down next to Tiro with a light smile, "Oh? You think I would be afraid of your Governor grandfather? Let me tell you frankly, after I kill you, he will be my next target. If it weren’t for their indulgence, the girl wouldn’t have been killed by a beast like you. You can go ahead." Picking up a piece of wood, he slowly drove it into Tiro’s thigh. The jagged wood gradually crushed Tiro’s muscles into a pulp. Tiro’s screams echoed from time to time, sounding exceptionally horrifying in the middle of the night.
Quick footsteps echoed throughout the Governor’s Mansion. Upon receiving the Governor’s Command Arrow, Yida, who was considered the bravest under Governor Teirhaus, swiftly brought his men over. For him, nothing was more important than Teirhaus’ safety.
Seeing the chaos inside the Governor’s Mansion, Yida grabbed a guard and asked urgently, "Where’s the assassin? Did the assassin escape? Is the Governor alright?" Yida was devoted to Teirhaus in a way no one else could compare. Hence, he was appointed by Teirhaus as the Commander of the three-million-strong army outside Mica City.
The guard seemed somewhat dazed, pointing at a room not too far away and mumbled, "Screams, such terrifying screams, so horrifying..."
Yida knitted his brows. He realized that the guard in his hand had been frightened into imbecility, presumably due to the excessive shock. He glanced in the direction the guard was pointing. Raising his right hand, he issued a command in a deep voice, "Follow me." He quickly rushed toward the room with his trusted aide. Before reaching the door, Yida could already smell the strong bloody odor. His heart was startled. He drew his longsword and charged in, and his trusted aide instantly divided into two groups. One group surrounded the room while the other followed him to the door. Upon arriving at the door, Yida gasped at the sight inside the room. Even with his battlefield experience, he couldn’t help but shudder, fear flickering in his eyes. Before him was a young man clothed in scale armor, squatting on the ground and poking something into someone. The person lying on the ground was no longer recognizable as human, for he had lost all four limbs. His body was a mangled mess of blood and flesh, his ears, and nose ground into a lump of bloody flesh. The horrifying sight sent chills down Yida’s spine, but he managed to suppress his panic. He shouted, "Stop! You audacious criminal, how dare you commit such a horrific act!"
