Chapter 537: Chapter 131 The Truth About Her Body_5

Xuan Yue was immersed in a whirl of emotions, causing her reflexes to slow down considerably. Hearing Ah Dai’s shout, she was momentarily startled, and at that instant, a needle-like pain shot across her back. The pain only lasted for a brief moment before turning numb. A pang of fear pulsed through Xuan Yue, making her realize that she had been poisoned. Just then, Ah Dai flew towards Xuan Yue from above, his blue Solid State Energy materializing into a band of light that coiled around her body. Pressing his palm onto the surface of the water, he used the rebound force to propel himself and Xuan Yue upwards. Xuan Yue’s naked body was suddenly exposed to the air, and the numbness rapidly spread throughout her body. She could feel her head growing heavy, her mind gradually descending into a fog of confusion.

With astonished eyes, Ah Dai stared at the green snake writhing on Xuan Yue’s back. The snake was twisting because it was out of water, and a black line lay at its center, giving it an eerie appearance. Ah Dai’s heart sank; he knew from the book on poisons written by Goris that this was a highly toxic Iron-string Scallion Green Snake. The venom was extremely potent - if one were bitten and not treated promptly, death would follow within half an hour. With a flash of blue light, the green snake turned into dust scattering in the air. Wasting no time, Ah Dai slapped the water surface again, using the rebound to fly towards the shore. He continuously channeled True Qi into Xuan Yue’s body, warding off the influx of poison. The spot on Xuan Yue’s right shoulder where she had been bitten had turned a deep black, and she was already unconscious.

Ignoring the allure of Xuan Yue’s attractive body, Ah Dai quickly sealed off several of her vital points. He then removed his own black robe and laid it on the ground, gently placing Xuan Yue on top of it. Grabbing Xuan Yue’s shoulders, he bent down towards her wound and sucked out a mouthful of poisonous blood. Xuan Yue’s body jerked slightly with each draw of blood, groaning in pain. Ah Dai spat out the poisonous blood, bending down again to suck more from the wound. As he sucked out the poisonous blood, he channelled True Qi into her body, forcing the toxins towards the wound. After removing more than ten mouthfuls of purple-black blood, Xuan Yue’s shoulder finally regained its original color. Ah Dai took a deep breath, his tongue now numb from the poison. He swept the air, opening his Space Barrier and fetched the antidote for snake poison that Goris had given him. He cautiously applied it on Xuan Yue’s shoulder, and took some himself. With Xuan Yue’s breathing now steady, he finally released a long sigh. Everything had been done in the blink of an eye. From the moment he found the naked Xuan Yue to the final touches on her treatment, barely five minutes had passed. Four of those minutes had been spent staring at each other.

After catching his breath and pushing out the intruding poison from his body using his powerful True Qi, Ah Dai finally had the time to look at the lady in front of him. Xuan Yue’s body was slightly trembling, as though she was cold. Shocked, Ah Dai looked around and noticed Xuan Yue’s clothes that she had prepared beforehand by the shore. He hurriedly fetched them, carefully helping her get dressed. As he dressed Xuan Yue, his hands trembled constantly. Every unintentional contact with her soft skin caused his heart to quiver. Her jade-like body was extremely tempting and Ah Dai was almost unable to bear it. Luckily, the outfit was a baggy set of his own commoner’s clothes. Despite his trembling hands, he managed to dress her. Having completed this "massive" task, Ah Dai continued to pant heavily, feeling oddly more exhausted than after the battle with Larthas. As Xuan Yue was still slightly shivering, Ah Dai picked her up. Despite the layer of clothes, he could clearly feel her soft, elastic skin. Managing to compose himself, Ah Dai floated up into the air and landed by a big tree next to the river. He sat down, cradling Xuan Yue in his arms, continuously infusing her with True Qi. After a while, whether warmed by Ah Dai’s own body heat or by the effect of the True Qi, Xuan Yue’s body finally stopped shivering.
