---------------------------------------------------------------------

Ah Dai was clearly aware that if he did not use the Sword of Hades, Sheng Xie was stronger than when he trained to the eighth stage of True Qi. Even now he was only slightly stronger than Sheng Xie, and that was when he was going all out with martial arts. Dragons, after all, are the strongest creatures on the continent. With Sheng Xie, who had more than 90% of his power, his heart finally had some reassurance. A further evolved Sheng Xie might not lose to this Flame Dragon, he thought.

During the days away from the Illusive Forest, Sheng Xie had completely healed the damage to his body caused by the Dragon Language Forbidden Curse. During the two and a half years he was dormant, when Ah Dai used the Sword of Hades, Sheng Xie would absorb some Evil Aura, and the Light elements absorbed from the Divine Dragon’s Blood also nourished his body after transformed into Divine Energy. The two different energies, Holy and Evil, constantly combined within him. After awakening, he absorbed all the remaining energy that was leftover from his recovery, successfully evolved again, entered the later half of his growth period, and his strength had enormously increased.

Although Larthas was surprised, he was not deterred by the enormous creature in front of him. He snorted coldly and urged the Flame Dragon, which had been created by his powerful magic power after being combined with a Divine Artifact, to pounce onto Sheng Xie. In his heart, he thought, I want to see whether my Flame Dragon is better or this summoned dragon is stronger.

Facing the scorching Flame Dragon, Sheng Xie roared angrily and a grey Dragon’s Breath that carried two completely opposite auras of holy and evil sprayed out, it solidify in the air into a grey energy belt and instantaneously struck the chest of the Flame Dragon.

The body of the Flame Dragon was momentarily stalled by the impact of the Dragon’s Breath. The powerful Corrosion Power that Dragon’s Breath had was constantly corroding the Fire Energy of the Flame Dragon, the Flame of Destruction and the Dragon’s Breath interweaved, severely diminishing the energy of the Flame Dragon.

After one breath, the Flame Dragon’s body was only half of its previous size. Sheng Xie roared angrily, his wings shook violently, and it seemed as if the earth was trembling with the wings. He suddenly rose from the ground and brutally charged at the greatly weakened Flame Dragon. With a loud boom, the giant spine on the head of Sheng Xie penetrated the Flame Dragon. A surge of Silver Energy suddenly erupted from within Sheng Xie and blasted the Flame Dragon’s body into a floating red glow.

Ah Dai was overjoyed; even if he had produced the same result, it would not have been any better. Since facing the Flame Dragon, he had been forced to constantly defend himself. Sheng Xie was like venting for him!

Though Sheng Xie had repelled the Flame Dragon, it was not feeling well itself. The scorching heat of the Flame of Destruction was difficult to bear, even for its robust body. Waves of heat incessantly corroded its scales and body. Its silver scales faintly turned red, and faint tendrils of smoke emerged. Sheng Xie heavily landed before Ah Dai, constantly circulating its dragon power to alleviate the uncomfortable burning sensation.

Having seen Sheng Xie destroy the tier-three Flame Dragon, the members of the Mage Guild on the continent were suddenly cheering loudly, they finally began to see the hope of victory.

Larthas stared agape at the remaining energy of the tier-three Flame Dragon. For the first time, his steadfast faith began to waver. Gritting his teeth, he took advantage of Sheng Xie still recovering from the heat of the Flame of Destruction and quickly chanted, "Great Fire God, please allow me to use the Bursting Flame, and lend me your endless power, break through the bottleneck of fire," As he chanced the spell, his body began to suspend off the ground, hovering only one meter from the ground. A red hexagram gradually appeared under his feet. Embellished in red light, he was as fierce as the God of Fire reincarnated. His hands met in front of his chest as he began to chant something softly. The red hexagram kept shimmering, the tremendous magical energy wrapped around his body like flames. He waved his left hand, and the Fire God’s Shield dissolved into the red light.

Suddenly, Larthas opened his eyes. His former rage was gone, a blinding red light shone from his forehead. His voice became unusually calm, ringing loud and clear throughout the canyon, "Boy, although I don’t know why you possess such strong power, I am indeed impressed. I haven’t used my all in thirty years. The last time was when I was fighting against Byinlog. Today, let me once again unleash my ultimate power against you. Those of us at this level of magical skill yearn for an opponent who can match us. Let’s end this with a single blow, and see whether your summoning magic is strong or my fire magic is more powerful. Spin, Ascending Flame," His voice echoed throughout the canyon. The red light under his feet suddenly brightened up. Swirling, fiery red light completely enveloped Larthas’s body. A massive energy pillar, reaching three meters in diameter, shot straight upwards, accurately hitting the scarce remaining energy of the aerial Flame Dragon.

Under the blaze of the firelight, the Bilu Canyon lit up like daylight, revealing every detail. The aerial Flame Dragon gradually took shape, expanding with every influx of swirling energy. The rounds of heat constantly dispersed from the Flame Dragon, forcing all mages to chant their strongest defense magic. Colorful energy shields continuously shimmering on both sides of the canyon, the splendid colors brought canyon an unusual glow. All the plants in the canyon gradually withered under the spreading heat, becoming carbonized, their vitality disappeared under Larthas’s powerful fire energy.

Ah Dai, feeling that Sheng Xie wanted to rush out and attack the airborne Larthas, hurriedly flew up and stood in his way. He understood the meaning of what Larthas had said earlier. Since the outcome was to be decided in one move, how could they attack while the enemy was gathering power? Ah Dai’s eyes revealed a determined look. Stimulating his internal energy, he wrapped his body in True Qi and, like Larthas, drifted into the air. Surrounded by white light, he hovered next to Sheng Xie. Taking out his Divine Dragon’s Blood, he confidently looked at the immense pillar of flame in front of him. The protective blue Divine Dragon’s light shone brightly; he could keenly sense the excited fluctuations of energy within the Divine Dragon’s Blood. The golden emblem on the blue gem flashed a different light. A strangely vigorous divine power instantly spread throughout Ah Dai’s body, making him feel a tremendous jolt. The blue giant dragon’s body became clearer. Not only had it regained the powers from before, but it was also more defensively solid. The heat oncoming was completely isolated. Layers of blue, crystal-like scales flashed a faint phosphorescence. Its roar, as loud as thunder, was deafening. The blue giant dragon opened its enormous mouth and spouted a wisp of blue smoke. The smoke circled around Ah Dai’s body, forming a faint barrier. The blue giant dragon disappeared inside the blue smoke barrier, protecting Ah Dai’s body.

Although Ah Dai was surprised by the change in his body, he didn’t have much time to think about it. Larthas’s Flame Dragon was gradually gaining momentum, and he needed to come up with a corresponding strategy to oppose it. Sheng Xie’s voice echoed in the recess of his heart, "Brother, why won’t you let me attack him?! He has such a strong Flame Dragon!"

Ah Dai let out a bitter smile, "This is a fair duel. He’s gathering his strength now, we can’t ambush him! Come on, I’ll mix the Dragon’s Blood with your Dragon Breath to see if we can withstand his Flame Dragon Attack."

"Brother, I’m afraid we can’t. The power of his Flame Dragon is too strong, and he is constantly gathering Fire Elements. Once formed, I’m afraid even the energy of the Dragon’s Blood combined with mine won’t be able to resist. Brother, channel your energy into my body. Together, we might be able to defeat him."

Ah Dai nodded, drifting behind Sheng Xie. He himself did not have any powerful magic. The Light Magic Attack transformed from the Dragon’s Blood could not compete with Larthas, who had reached the Magus Realm. He had no choice but to follow Sheng Xie’s advice. His Golden Body in his Dantian trembled violently under Ah Dai’s urging, pervading his body with a flood of True Qi. With a loud yell, the Blue Barrier of Divine Dragon Body Cover enveloped both himself and Sheng Xie, making their movements invisible from the outside. The white True Qi was transformed into a pure Energy under his deliberate manipulation and was channeled into Sheng Xie from behind. Sheng Xie trembled as its silvery-grey Scales emitted an unusual glow. Propped by the True Qi, Sheng Xie raised both its front paws and started chanting the Dragon Roars. Its seven sharp horns illuminated with a strong golden glow, with golden sparks gathering at the tips. Sheng Xie spread its wings, its Dragon Roars gradually turned from low to high-pitched, echoing through the valley. Ah Dai could clearly feel the incredibly powerful Holy Power quickly gathering inside the barrier of the Divine Dragon’s Body. A small sphere of golden Energy had formed at the top of each of Sheng Xie’s seven sharp horns, turning the blue Energy of the Divine Dragon’s Body to gold with its overwhelming golden divine light.

Endless True Qi flowed from Ah Dai’s hands into Sheng Xie. As Ah Dai’s True Qi weakened, the Holy Power emanating from Sheng Xie became stronger. Ah Dai had a thought. He felt that Sheng Xie seemed to be doing the same thing as when they were breaking out from the Dark City, but slightly differently.

Yes, Sheng Xie was using the Dragon Language Curse that was beyond its abilities again. Compared to the Golden Swallowing it used last time, this Curse was not weaker. With the memory imprinted in its Dragon Soul, it activated one of the strongest individual attacks in the Dragon Curse for the first time. As its Dragon Roars turned into sharp sounds, Sheng Xie slowly lowered its head. With the endless support of True Qi from Ah Dai, it was confident it could complete the curse.

Ah Dai remembered how Sheng Xie had fallen into a deep sleep for more than two years after the last explosion of its power and couldn’t help but feel uneasy. Through their mental connection, he asked, "Xiao Xie, are you using the same magic as last time again? It will affect your body."

"Brother, don’t worry. With your energy support, I’m confident I can use this magic. Besides, this individual attack consumes less energy than the curse I used last time. There’s no time, you’d better speed up the transmission of energy to me."

Ah Dai quietly sighed. He could only follow Xiao Xie’s plan now. He took a deep breath. In order to protect Sheng Xie from harm, he channeled all his True Qi into Sheng Xie. For the first time after reaching the ninth Realm of the Elemental Qi Technique, Ah Dai used all his strength. He absorbed the free Energy in the air like a sea absorbing rivers. After being transformed by his Golden Body, he quickly channelled it into Sheng Xie’s body, as unremitting as an endless river.

Larthas was wholeheartedly vested in the flame dragon he had unleashed, completely oblivious to what Ah Dai was doing. As the vortex-like Flame of Destruction continually suffused the dragon’s body, he began to recite his final spell.

"Flame——Dragon——Quadruple——Turn——Astonish——Heaven——Earth——." With his deep, rhythmic voice, the vortex-like Flame of Destruction gradually transformed, changing from its original red to a deep blue color. The flame dragon in the air, replenishing energy, gently spun. After a slight pause, its massive body coiled up and seemed to expand a bit.

"Flame——Dragon——Quintuple——Turn——Extinguishing——Flame——Doom——." The color changed again, from blue to purple, and the flame dragon’s body swelled to over thirty meters long. Hovering and dancing in the sky, the raging fire energy ran rampant, turning the inside of Bi Lu Valley into a scorched wasteland. Yet, Larthas’s spell had not ended.

"Flame——Dragon——Sextuple——Turn——Flame——Turn——Birth——." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"Flame——Dragon——Septuple——Turn——God——Demon——Fear——."

Larthas’s voice abruptly ceased. With the recitation of the spell, the dragon flames in the sky had morphed from purple to black, then from black to white. The energy accumulated through the compressed seven cycles of the Flame of Destruction was immense. Both mages’ guilds felt an unprecedented enormous pressure. It took the combined strength of hundreds of mages to withstand the fearsome heat. Some were astonished to find that the Valley interior’s ground was gradually sinking under the scorching energy, the surface soil turning to dust, and cracks appearing in the bottom layer. Within thousands of square meters, the ground was wholly dominated by intense flame power.

Larthas took a deep breath. The septuple flame dragon had nearly reached the extent of his tolerable limit. The power gained from merging with the Fire Spirit Pearl was rapidly dissipating. With his strength on the brink, yet to secure a final victory, to defend his title as the number one attack mage in the continent, Larthas recited a spell he had never used before, shouting:

"Flame——Dragon——Octuple——Turn——Ulti——Mate——Extreme——."

A massive transformation took place with the flame dragon hovering in the sky. Its body, which had previously expanded to nearly sixty meters, abruptly began to shrink. The white light gradually condensed into a crystal, creating a crystalline flame dragon composed of solid magical energy. Its body shimmered with silver light and seemed to bear a resemblance to the Saint Xie. A resounding roar echoed in the valley, the resonant sound blending with the long chanting of the Saint Xie. The surrounding mountains trembled under these two enormous energies. As the Octuple Flame Dragon circled in the void, the vortex energy released by Larthas had vanished. He fell to the ground, his magical strength drained to the point of near-collapse. Barely able to prop up his body with his forearm, he watched contentedly at the colossal flame dragon he had unleashed, breathing lightly. As one who had reached the apex of fire magic, he was one with the fire element, invulnerable to the rampaging fire energy no matter how weak he became. His reason for depleting his powers to cast such a powerful spell was not only to win this contest but more importantly, because Ah Dai’s arrival had posed a serious threat. He aimed to strangle this young man who threatened his Tian Jing Mage Guild in the cradle. Murderous intent filled his heart, with no regard for consequences or Levi’s previous warning to stop before it’s too late. He signaled the octuple flame dragon in the air to attack, using the last energy of his willpower. As his spiritual energy depleted, sweat streamed down Larthas’s forehead. He refused to pass out just yet and forced himself to stay conscious entirely by willpower. He yearned to see the power of the octuple flame dragon he had so desperately unleashed and watched as the young man capable of summoning a dragon was devoured by his octuple flame dragon. The Octuple Flame Dragon now held power comparable to a forbidden curse.

Xuan Yue anxiously looked at Ah Dai. The immense heat generated by the Flame Dragon in its eighth turn forced her to endure it all. Using her strong spiritual power, she telepathically told Ah Dai that if he failed to withstand the Flame Dragon’s attack, he should use Goris’ Wish to teleport himself and Sheng Xie to her side, so she could gainst the dragon’s assault.

Ah Dai heard Xuan Yue’s voice, but he had no more strength to use Goris’s Wish. The constant drain from Sheng Xie had almost depleted his True Qi, deploying all his spiritual power to help the golden body in his Dantian to consolidate energy. The golden body’s glow gradually dimmed. Even if he had the ability to teleport himself and Sheng Xie to Xuan Yue’s side, he wouldn’t do so. He would never want Xuan Yue to take the brunt of this terrifying attack for him.

To Ah Dai’s surprise, he discovered the bridge between his second golden body and his original golden body was transmitting energy once again. The second golden body seemed to be continually transferring energy to his depleted golden body, even though its own size was slowly shrinking. Ah Dai felt a surge of joy, knowing that if he could succeed in overcoming the current crisis, his prowess would inevitably advance to a whole new level.

As the Flame Dragon underwent its eighth transformation, Sheng Xie’s Dragon Language Spell also reached its final integration stage. Seven golden balls of energy, seemingly solid, were continuously condensing. Under Sheng Xie’s guidance, they detached from the dragon horn, flew into the air, and merged above the largest horn on Sheng Xie’s head. The massive golden energy gradually descended, penetrating Sheng Xie’s body from his golden horn like a bolt of lightning. The scales all over Sheng Xie’s body stood erect, and his massive body turned entirely gold. His golden eyes opened, and two beams of light shot directly at the Flame Dragon in the sky.

Ah Dai felt Sheng Xie withdrawing his True Qi at an unprecedented speed. His internal energy couldn’t replenish quickly enough, leading to intense feelings of weakness that made his body twitch faintly. A trickle of blood flowed out. The divine energy on Sheng Xie suddenly exploded, and the enormous energy shockwave threw Ah Dai’s body back. The blue outer barrier of his Divine Dragon Body Cover also detached, with the blue energy protectively enveloping Ah Dai, preventing him from being injured by the Flame Dragon’s intense heat.

At the center of the canyon, under the heaven and on earth, two giant dragons, one gold and one silver, stared at each other, similar in size. Their out-of-control energy spread throughout, lending an intense whiff of death to the land. The Flame Dragon stirred. With a roar, it charged at Sheng Xie on the ground like a bolt of silver meteor. Sheng Xie cracked a sneer of disdain at the corners of his mouth, chanting the final three syllables of the Dragon Language Spell. Sheng Xie finally completed the Dragon King’s ultimate single-target attack - the Golden Despair. Suddenly, an illusion of Sheng Xie broke out from its body. A golden energy dragon identical to Sheng Xie separated itself, spread its golden wings, took flight, and violently crashed into the Flame Dragon during the clear chanting.

Sheng Xie’s golden eyes, Ah Dai who had fallen to the ground, the stunned Xuan Yue, and everyone at the Mage Guild, all silently prayed for the Golden Energy Dragon. Their gazes followed the rising golden dragon, with victory or defeat hanging in the balance.

The weary, weak, and barely holding on Larthas, Gorisong filled with complex emotions, and everyone in the Tian Jing Mage Guild were all cheering for the Silver Flame Dragon in its eighth turn. Their gazes followed the descending silver form.

When hundreds of pairs of eyes focused on a single point in the sky, the energy concentrated in Ah Dai, Sheng Xie, Larthas, and Fire Spirit Pearl finally collided in mid-air. Time seemed to freeze at that moment, the sky darkened as if everything had disappeared. After a seeming pause of a few seconds, an incredibly glaring light burst forth with a thunderous roar, BOOM—————

In the deafening blast, Ah Dai only felt a massive shock in his heart. The blue barrier of the Divine Dragon Body Cover shook violently. With the irresistible sway of the energy, his body flew and floated out, his body’s meridians in pain as if they were being torn apart. Right before he fainted, Ah Dai clearly saw Sheng Xie emit a mist of blood that turned into a silver light and disappeared into the Dragon’s Blood .Ah Dai was heartbroken. He felt that Sheng Xie was not dead, but the pain that Sheng Xie had suffered was even more distressing to him than his own injury. Following a violent tremor, Ah Dai blacked out and fainted.

The result of the collision between Despair of Gold and the Eighth Transformation of the Flame Dragon was a draw. From the perspective of inherent energy, if Larthas had completed the ninth transformation of the Flame Dragon, his magic would have reached perfection, becoming an ultimate forbidden curse. However, even after merging with the divine artifact, the Fire Spirit Pearl, he could only complete the Infinite Eight Transformation, thus the Flame Dragon could not reach its highest realm. Upon reaching the ninth realm of the Life Cycle, Ah Dai’s overall strength was not inferior to Larthas. He channeled all his energy into Sheng Xie, assisting Sheng Xie in completing the Dragon Language Forbidden Spell, which in terms of realm, should be slightly superior to Larthas’s Flame Dragon Ninth Transformation. Unfortunately, Ah Dai had just entered the ninth realm of the Life Cycle, and Sheng Xie was still in its growth phase, thus even when they worked together, they could not fully unleash the power of Despair of Gold, and ended up in a stand-off with the Eighth Transformation Flame Dragon.

Under the pull of vital energy, Sheng Xie was badly injured. He resolutely controlled his body to return to the Dragon’s Blood and entered a state of deep sleep. Although Larthas himself could not defend, the main feature of the Flame Dragon Ninth Transformation spell was that before the nine transformations were completed, the energy of the Flame Dragon was difficult to be completely destroyed. After the Eighth Transformation Flame Dragon and the Despair of Gold offset each other, the residual energy under Larthas’ fearful urge gathered in front of him, blocking the lethal shock wave. But the energy of the Flame Dragon also vanished completely at this point; Larthas needed at least over three months to recover his peak condition. The excessive consumption of spiritual power and the aftermath of the shock wave caused him, the continent’s top offensive magician, to faint as well.

Compared to Ah Dai and Larthas who were drained of energy, the people of the two Mage Guilds were much better off. Although the strength of the hundreds of mages could not match up to Ah Dai and Larthas, their combined power was still considerable. The multicoloured barrier blocked the weakened shockwave for them, and except for a few weak mages who spurted blood from their injuries, most people safely weathered the calamity. However, the mountains surrounding the Bilu Canyon were destroyed by nearly a tenth of their mass due to the massive shockwave. The rampant energy swallowed up and turned these mountains into dust. The remaining mountain walls around the canyon became unusually smooth, looking very peculiar.

The moment Ah Dai and Sheng Xie separated, Xuan Yue felt that the massive energy contained in Sheng Xie was no weaker than the Eighth Transformation Flame Dragon released by Larthas, giving her a sense of confidence. When the golden and silver energies collided in mid-air, she used the Phoenix’s Blood and Light Magic to form a solid defence wall in front of her. She initially wanted pull Ah Dai into her defense as well, but the power of the shock wave was too great, causing her to be blown away, leaving her to watch helplessly as Ah Dai was also blown away like her.

The rampaging energy gradually disappeared, and Xuan Yue, disregarding everything else, rushed out to Ah Dai who had collapsed on the ground. She held him in her arms, recklessly using her magic power to continuously heal Ah Dai with Light Magic. She found that Ah Dai was only severely drained of energy and had not suffered any real injuries, she was then able to relax.

......

After an unknown length of time, Ah Dai gradually woke up from his faint, finding himself in a spacious room. The room was simply decorated, the white walls looked so clean. Moving his body slightly, he felt a weak and unspeakable discomfort. A blue shadow caught his attention. Upon looking, it was Xuan Yue, who was lying by the bed, sleeping soundly. Her brows slightly furrowed, as if she was having a restless dream. Ah Dai’s heart warmed up, he knew that Xuan Yue was worried for him! Thinking of how he had rejected Yue Yue, he sighed internally, why were Xuan Re and his sister so good to him? He really owed Yue Yue!

Noticing the fluctuation in Ah Dai’s energy, Xuan Yue instinctively trembles, waking up from her haze. The look in her eyes clears as she takes in Ah Dai, staring intently at her. She exclaims in surprise, "Older brother, you’re awake! How do you feel? Is there anywhere that is uncomfortable?"

Due to Xuan Yue’s obvious worry, Ah Dai finds himself getting choked up, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes. "Don’t worry brother, I’m okay now."

Xuan Yue breathes in relief. "That’s good. I was terrified. If anything happened to you, I don’t know what I would do." Flustered after her confession, Xuan Yue’s face flushes as she hides behind her loose, blue hair, embarrassed. Her heart pounded erratically in her chest, a sign of her developing feelings.

A strange feeling flutters in Ah Dai’s heart. His strength gradually returns as he scratches his head, asking, "So, what’s the outcome of the duel? Did I win or lose?"

Battling down her feelings, Xuan Yue manages to smooth down her loose hair and ties it back. She answers, smiling, "The outcome is probably something you’d hoped for. The Mage Guild of the Empire of Tian Jing didn’t win, but the Continental Mage Guild didn’t lose either. You and Larthas both passed out from exhaustion. The tremendous powers you both unleashed were frightening- even the landscape inside the valley was changed by your final attack. It was an absolute show of destructive force! The idea that humans can harness such power is beyond comprehension. In the end, the referee, an alchemist named Levi, declared it a draw. Neither side had the will to fight on, leaving the results very much up in the air. No one managed to kick the other out of Andis City, resulting in both Guilds having a base there. After the competition, there seems to be less hostility between both sides. That Mage named Gorisong said he’d like to visit you. Do you know him? Ah! Gorisong isn’t he related to your teacher Goris?"

Sighing, Ah Dai says, "Gorisong is the only direct brother of my teacher. I hadn’t expected to end the fight with a draw. Larthas’ skills as the continent’s top offense mage is really strong. If it wasn’t for using my True Qi to assist Sheng Xie in withstanding his attack at the very end, I would’ve surely lost. If it came down to a straight face-off, ten of me would not have been able to handle him."

Xuan Yue responds, "Older brother, you don’t need to belittle yourself. Everyone has their own strengths. Even without Sheng Xie, if you used that Heavenly Thunder Clash which you used to defeat the four skeletons, I am not sure you would have lost to his eight-fold Flame Dragon. Thankfully, he didn’t have the strength to summon the nine-fold Flame Dragon. That old fellow really was ruthless to aim to take your life like that! His power, enhanced by merging with the Fire Spirit Pearl might’ve even surpassed dad’s abilities."

Ah Dai, with Xuan Yue’s assistance, sits up. He asks, "Brother, where are we now? Is this an inn?"

Xuan Yue says, "Older brother, you can be really clueless sometimes! We’ve helped the Continental Mage Guild so much, how could they let us stay at an inn? This is the Continental Mage Guild. You just rest up and recover, we can leave once you’re fully recovered. The Elders here are incredibly grateful to you. They’ve all been singing praises of your profound magic abilities, saying that having you with the Guild has truly boosted their confidence. They’ve even mentioned that they don’t have to fear Larthas any longer. If they knew you’re awake, they’d rush over here immediately to convey their gratitude."

Having temporarily resolved the disputes between the two Mage Guilds, Ah Dai finds himself relieved. He says with a soft smile, "There’s no need for gratitude. As long as there aren’t more disputes between the two guilds, I’ll be content. Once I’ve recovered, we should leave as quickly as possible. By the way, how long was I out for?"

Xuan Yue shakes her head, "Not too long. Compared to Sheng Xie’s sleeping skills, yours isn’t much. It’s only been two days and nights."

At the mention of Sheng Xie, Ah Dai stiffens, "I wonder how bad the damage Sheng Xie suffered is this time. It’s gone into hibernation again, I hope it doesn’t sleep for another two years! It’s all my fault. If I hadn’t hesitated and directly used the Heavenly Thunder Crash, Sheng Xie wouldn’t have gotten injured."

Xuan Yue says, "I saw Sheng Xie get injured. The damage wasn’t too severe. The magic it used is the Dragon Language Curse you mentioned before right? That was quite powerful. I believe, with your True Qi support, it should woke up within a relatively short time. As long as it recovers before we reach the Death Mountain Range, it’ll be fine."

Ah Dai nods, "Brother, you’ve been taking care of me here the whole time, it must’ve been so exhausting. You should get some rest. Your magical power was also heavily depleted that day."

Xuan Yue nods, "Let’s meditate together then. I’ll enter the Meditation State first." After removing her shoes and climbing onto the bed across Ah Dai, she chants a few spells softly and enters the Meditation State. The holy white glow enveloping her body seems a little dimmer than usual as it slowly absorbs the light elements in the air.
