Chapter 409: Chapter 87: Goris’s Wish_5

The protagonist took out the last page of the letter that Goris had left him. As instructed, he walked over to the giant cauldron, crouched down and crawled underneath it. He found a protruding stone, he pressed the stone and twisted it three times to the left. He heard a series of clicking sounds. Ah Dai, who was hunched down, felt his body move. A stone slab beneath him was shifting, carrying him towards a wall full of various implements hanging on it. Just when Ah Dai was stunned, a crack opened on the wall. In the momentum, Ah Dai was propelled into the crevice. Darkness engulfed him. He felt the stone slab move upwards again. A faint light shone down on top of him. Before he could prepare himself fully, he was in a misty area. Ah Dai was startled and instinctively used his martial arts to protect himself. Looking around, Ah Dai was ecstatic to realize that he was in an orchard. He glanced at the overturned stone slab beside him and got up. Upon leaving, the stone slab, covered with shrubs, slowly closed, leaving no trace of a crack. Ah Dai, who had read Goris’s notes thoroughly, knew that this exit could not be opened from the outside. The fruits around him were so familiar. As no one had harvested them for many years, they were exceptionally lush. The giant fruits of various colors made him feel as if he was back seven years ago. Ah Dai picked a purple fruit next to him. A refreshing aroma filled his senses - his favorite Purple Cloud Fruit! With a light bite, he sucked the sweet juice from the fruit. A cool sensation coursed through his body, rejuvenating Ah Dai. Seeing the peaceful scene around him, Ah Dai made a resolution to mourn for Goris here for a year and then take revenge on Owen’s killers from the Assassin’s Guild. If there was indeed a millennium disaster on the continent, he would do his utmost. If nothing changed, he would retire here. With such thoughts, Ah Dai’s mood lightened and he started to sprint and dance in the orchard, filling his hungry body with the sweet fruits continuously.

Xuan Yue was stretching her body as she stepped out of the Temple of Light. She had received God’s baptism two years ago. During these two years, she had made significant progress and had far exceeded the Pope’s expectations. In only two years, she had surpassed the White Robe Priest in terms of skills. She was able to learn any difficult spells and hard-to-control magic at a speed several times faster than ordinary people. Especially in terms of magic power, she was making progress by leaps and bounds. The present Xuan Yue was no longer the one who had only the ability of a junior magician and had to rely on the Divine Artifact. Her holy magic had reached the realm of Magus, which wasn’t inferior to the Church’s White Robe Priest.

The bright sunlight shone on Xuan Yue’s exquisite face. Her beautiful appearance exuded a sacred aura in the sunlight, resembling an inviolable Goddess. Every move she made was incredibly graceful. In her current state, she had outgrown her mother, reaching a height of about 1.75 meters, comparable to any ordinary man. Her waterfall-like long blue hair was spread out to her knees. If she was a pretty little girl three years ago, she had now become a stunning beauty. Even though she was wrapped in a large white priestess robe, it couldn’t hide her impressive figure. Xuan Yue boldly faced the harsh sunlight, her mind and body in absolute peace. In those few days, her holy magic seemed to have advanced significantly. Besides the few level eight magics that required a high level of magic power, she had mostly learned all of the Holy Church’s holy magic and the space magic inscribed in the Phoenix’s Blood.

"Hey, Yue Yue, is it really you?! Long time no see." A surprised, clear voice brought Xuan Yue back from her serene state. She turned slightly and saw a tall youth. He wore a white uniform with all edges of his white shirt rimmed in golden threads. The broad shoulder and wide back, a longsword hanging at his waist, all signified him being a standard uniformed Judge of Light of the Court of Justice. His handsome face bore a surprised smile as he walked quickly towards Xuan Yue. A Judge of Light in the Court of Justice is only inferior to Judgment Chief and Holy Judge, and is the backbone of the Court of Justice. Becoming this level of Judge means one’s martial arts must have reached a high realm.

Xuan Yue slightly frowned. She didn’t recognize this somewhat familiar face for a moment and murmured, "Who are you? What brings you to the Temple of Light? This isn’t the place for people from the Court of Justice." Her voice was calm and showed no signs of emotional fluctuations.
