Chapter 354: Chapter 76: The Melody of Growth_1

The Elf Queen finally stopped her chanting, she suddenly opened her eyes, two rays of emerald green light shot out. She took a deep breath. The four Great Elf Envoys around her appeared unusually exhausted. The Elf Queen bit her right middle finger, a drop of emerald blood flowed out. She quickly drew a series of trajectories around the drop of blood with green energy. The blood was immediately enveloped in complex elf symbols. The Elf Queen chanted: "Blood of the generational Elf King, please harness the spiritual energy between heaven and earth. Great Earth God, please pity those lives growing on you, the melody of the awakening of the elves." With the completion of the spell, all the green light madly converged onto the elf blood encased within the elf symbols. In a moment, it became a faint green orb. The little elf on the Elf Queen’s shoulder was struggling to hold up the green orb.

The Elf Queen’s face turned a bit pale, with a sigh she said: "Let it grow with the melody." She waved her delicate hand and the green orb, after being infused with the energy from the Heart of the Elves, floated away and disappeared into the night sky.

The Heart of the Elves returned to the Elf Queen’s body, her delicate body staggered, she just managed to flap her wings to maintain her balance. She smiled and said, "The melody of growth can last over an hour, time is enough. In five minutes, go and rescue Xing Er."

Within the Imperial Palace of the Sunset Empire.

In a gorgeous room, Elf Princess Xing’er was listlessly gazing at the stars outside the window, feeling lonely. She was so regretful now, why was she so reckless, giving villains the chance to take advantage of her. When she was captured by those men in black, she fell into a coma, and woke up in this room. Everything here was so extravagant, but she did not like it at all. Since arriving here, she has never left this room. The delicate chains on her feet restricted her movements. She remembered clearly, she wanted to escape when she woke up, but a white-haired old man appeared. He just mumbled a few vague spells, and she was immobilized, unable to invoke any elf spells, even with the power of her elf bloodline. After the old man left, a handsome, well-dressed youth who gave off a repellant aura showed up. Despite his good looks, she didn’t like him at all. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Thinking of that man, Xing’er blushed. He started off acting sweet and saying things she didn’t understand. But later, he seemed to be angered by her indifference. He was so annoying! He actually tried to take off her clothes. No wonder her mother said the outside world was dangerous and humans couldn’t be trusted. Thankfully, her elf bloodline protected her. The life force of the Elf King’s blood kept him away from her. When he realized he couldn’t do anything to her, he left. When he came back, he brought that despicable old man again. Although he couldn’t break the protection of her bloodline, the old man used different methods to weaken it. The handsome youth seemed eager to do something to her but ended up being thwarted every time. He tried many ways to trick her, but she simply wanted to return to the Elf Forest. Plus, she was already eighty years old, while not considered old among elves, it was indeed an advanced age among humans.

The old man was monstrous! He seemed to know the secrets of her bloodline. He gestured a three to the youth and told her in a language she understood, Tian Yuan Clan’s language, that she would lose her ability in three years. Although the youth hasn’t bothered her since then, she couldn’t shake off this impending sense of doom. As the days went by, the power of the elves in her body weakened. If she couldn’t be nourished by the vigorous energy of the ancient Elf tree, she might not be able to inherit her mother’s position as the Elf Queen. Her mother only had one daughter, her. What would they do? Would the elves perish? No, they couldn’t. How could the elf race that had continued for tens of thousands of years be extinct because of her? It was all her fault. Regret flooded Xing’er’s heart and tears welled in her eyes. She cried in sorrow.

Just then, she suddenly felt an extremely familiar energy. It was such a comfortable feeling! The almost depleted bloodline of the Elf King in her body seemed to be reactivated.

Xing’er looked up at the distant night sky, her blood boiling, her entire body trembling slightly. This energy was only too familiar to her. Ah! This was, this was her mother’s energy! It had to be her mother; her mother must have come to rescue her. Xing Er sat up abruptly from the bed, her previously despairing heart now filled with hope. She prayed quietly, "Mother, mother, you must save Xing Er! Xing Er will listen to you from now on and not be naughty again." The familiar energy vibration suddenly increased, so much to her surprise, as if her sealed energy was about to burst forth. If it wasn’t for the restraints on her feet, she felt as though she could use the power of the elves again.
