Chapter 315: Chapter 69 Three Styles of Hades_1
A chilly voice suddenly rang out, "I believe there’s no need for you to go, as I am already here." A figure slowly emerged from the dark corner of the gate. Under the dim moonlight, the figure became clearer. It was a man covered in black scales, with his long black hair scattered around his shoulders. His face, which was not particularly handsome, bore no expression, but an icy killing intent constantly radiated from him. Most astonishingly, a short sword, no more than a foot long, was sheathed across his chest in a leather bag, and the black gem set on the sword’s hilt emitted a strange gleam as if it were drawing in every soul present. A faint aura of evil radiated outwards from this hilt. Horton took a sharp breath; the person he dreaded most had appeared after all.
Ah Dai stared at the group of experts before him, feeling neither grief nor joy. His mind was utterly at peace; his only thought was of killing. Only if he killed everyone here could his heart return to tranquillity. Horton was here, and so was the cat lady. Oh Ice, please let your Heavenly Spirit bless me, let me kill these evildoers for you.
The longsword in Horton’s hand shimmered with a faint white glow, wrapping his body protectively. Although the faint evil aura couldn’t penetrate this glow, he still felt a chill all over. Even though there was only one opponent, this was the first time in his life that he felt like he was facing an opponent too powerful for him to combat.
Ah Dai’s right hand held the hilt of the Sword of Hades. His calm mind told him very clearly that there were too many experts before him and with his current power, he wouldn’t be able to resist them.
The cat lady nudged Horton gently. Like him, she too was shocked to see Ah Dai, but what filled her heart was hatred. Thinking of how she once had to grovel before the young man standing before her to survive, her heart filled with anger. As the green light flashed, her body became completely cat-like. Her sharp claws shone with a dark green glow and her pupils turned into vertical slits. She knew that only by killing the man before her could she find peace again. She raised her hand and asked coldly, "Did you burn down the Dark Elites Nightclub?"
Ah Dai simply nodded. Looking at the green glow on the cat lady, his eyes narrowed, his murderous intent surged while a faint white light surrounded his body. His True Qi, which had reached the eighth realm, was pushed to its limit by him. "That’s right. The Dark Elites Nightclub should have been reduced to ashes by now, Lord Hortons, and all your men are dead. Their evil souls are beckoning you. I think it’s time you joined them."
Furious, Horton drew his longsword, roaring, "How dare you destroy what I’ve worked on for years!"
Ah Dai replied coldly, "Hard work? For your hard work and yu desires, do you still count how many lives you have claimed? Ice is dead. She died because of me. Her only wish was to kill you. You ruined her life. It’s your time to pay for it. Although compared to her pure and holy life, your life is incredibly insignificant."
Under Horton’s considerable magical power, the longsword in his hand emitted a bright light. The sacred aura made him more confident. Pointing his sword at Ah Dai, he yelled, "Attack! Kill him and I will reward you with ten thousand gold coins." His subordinates who usually enjoyed a privileged life in his mansion were already on the verge of exploding. Although they knew about the situation that happened yesterday, they did not know that Ah Dai was responsible for it. Met with the audacity of this not-so-old and strange boy who dared to challenge them in the City Lord’s Mansion, four of Horton’s men, a dagger, a sword and two long spears wielding forces, charged at Ah Dai at a lightning-fast pace. The two great mages also began uttering their most familiar attack spells. The remaining men also had colorful magical power glows, and the tremendous pressure firmly pinned Ah Dai in the middle.
Ah Dai’s narrowed eyes filled with a cold light. The enormous pressure had provoked his inner hatred. Thinking about Ice’s death, he unleashed all his strength suddenly. His True Qi was continuously drawn into the Sword of Hades, causing the evil aura to surge immensely. Under the attack of this evil aura, the movements of the four masters in the air slowed down a bit, and the masters around, in order to protect themselves, retracted some of the pressure exerted on Ah Dai. Seizing this moment, Ah Dai moved. "Sword of Hades Flash—Sky—Earth—Shake," he invoked. A dark blue light flashed, and the overwhelming aura of evil filled the entire courtyard. Ah Dai’s body turned to a phantom, flashing past the four men. As the light faded, everyone froze. The moment the Sword of Hades was unsheathed, everyone felt a chilling cold, and they used all their might to resist the evil aura’s attack and stepped back a few steps. Their faces turned a dreadful pale, their meridians seemed twisted, and their minds spinning. If they did not have their own strong strength, the evil aura just now would have taken their souls.
With a soft thud, thud, thud, thud, four people fell to the ground. No, more accurately, it should be said that four corpses fell to the ground. There was a wound at the center of their foreheads, their souls and flesh had been completely absorbed by the Sword of Hades. The most pathetic of them all were the two great mages. They didn’t even have the time to chant their spells; their weak bodies stood there, completely corroded by the evil aura of the Sword of Hades, devoid of their souls.
