Chapter 295: Chapter 64: Underground Auction_5
Ah Dai turned to Jin Bo and said, "I have raised the offer by another 30,000 diamond coins, now my bid stands at 120,000 diamond coins for the fairy girl."
Jin Bo stared blankly at Ah Dai, whose previous performance had greatly shocked him. "Alright, guest number 36 is offering 120,000 diamond coins! Is there anyone else bidding?" As the gruff voice did not reply, Ah Dai successfully obtained the fairy girl. As he had done with the cat woman earlier, he walked up to the iron cage, grabbed it forcefully and twisted the bars, telling the fairy, "Come with me, I won’t harm you."
The fairy girl looked up, stunned. Her face was ethereal and refined, seeming much calmer than the cat woman earlier. Her eyes radiated a fierce hatred. Ah Dai sighed softly. With a faint yellow light, all the iron chains on her disappeared. Jin Bo sidled to Ah Dai’s side and said, "Sir, if you remove her chains, she will escape."
Ah Dai snorted, ignoring him. He crawled into the cage and reached out to grab the fairy girl. The cage was small and even though the fairy girl was no longer chained, how could she possibly evade Ah Dai’s grasp? Closing her eyes, tears slipped down from the corners of her eyes. Suddenly, she felt a lightness in her body as though everything had changed. Her restrained spiritual power was quickly returning. She opened her eyes wide, realizing that Ah Dai had not grabbed her body. The headband that was on her head was now in his hands. Ah Dai’s eyes flashed with anger. The headband in his hand contained no insignificant amount of magical energy. Under the gaze of Jin Bo and the fairy girl, Ah Dai clenched the headband tightly in his hand, rubbing it forcefully until it turned into powder and disappeared.
The fairy girl, having forgotten that she had regained her powers and could use elf magic, stared blankly at the tall young man in front of her, not knowing what to do.
Jin Bo exclaimed, "You... how did you destroy the headband? This fairy knows magic!"
Ah Dai gave Jin Bo a cold stare, and from his pocket, he took out an Elf Bracelet that had turned a crystal clear green, handed it over to the fairy girl, and said, "Do you recognize it?"
On seeing the Elf Bracelet, the fairy girl’s eyes lit up. The familiar energy of nature probed her. Just like a child who had lost their parents and finally found home, her kin had not abandoned her and had come to her rescue at last. She threw herself into Ah Dai’s arms sobbing uncontrollably. Propped by Ah Dai’s arm, the fairy girl and Cat Woman Mimi grabbed onto the couch, walked over to the Yan Shi brothers, and glanced deeply at Bing. Ah Dai said solemnly, "Let’s go." Before Jin Bo and the other VIP guests could react, they had already swiftly left the hall, moving down the stairs.
Bing quietly sat on the couch, her hand constantly shaking. Jin Bo walked to her side and asked in a low voice, "Miss Bing, what happened to you?" The status of Bing in front of the City Lord was a lot higher than his, he did not dare to offend her lightly.
Bing gave a start, got up from her seat and said in a cold voice, "Where is the City Lord?"
Jin Bo hesitated and answered, "The City Lord went back to his mansion earlier. He should be around the club now. As you know, those people are of great importance to the City Lord, and he might retaliate against them now."
A flash of chill crossed Bing’s eyes. Without saying anything, she turned around and walked out.
After leaving the auction hall, Ah Dai noticed that Bing didn’t follow them, which left him feeling somewhat disappointed. However, he felt exhilarated after successfully rescuing the fairy girl. He wrapped his arms around the two girls in close embrace. With the Yan Shi brothers guarding them left and right, they quickly left Club Anhao. Ah Dai’s now much clearer mind understood well that behind Club Anhao was definitely a powerful force. Only by completely leaving Dark City could the fairy girl and Cat Woman Mimi truly be safe. But could they really leave so swiftly?
