Chapter 228: Chapter 50: Sheng Xie’s Progress_4
Liao Yi responded seriously, "No way, our Tian Gang Sword Sect would never disregard seniority. As the disciple of my Elder Martial Uncle, you’re effectively my Martial Uncle. Young Martial Uncle, why are you back? Weren’t you training with the Great Ancestor Master?"
Ah Dai scratched his head, "The Ancestor Master sent me to call a few uncles to see him."
Liao Yi was taken aback, "Then you should go quickly. If I delayed Master’s affairs, I couldn’t bear the responsibility! I need to practice now!" He hurriedly turned and left after saying this.
Ah Dai watched Liao Yi’s receding figure and shook his head helplessly. It was really awkward that he had actually become his uncle. As he thought about it, he started walking down the corridor.
As he walked, a figure suddenly emerged from one side. The person was running towards him, with seven or eight people chasing after her. "Junior Martial Sister, don’t run away, the Great Ancestor is looking for you!"
The figure ran ahead, looking back and saying, "I won’t go. Grandpa is definitely going to force me to practice. I want to go out and play. Hehe." It turned out the figure was a young girl Ah Dai had never seen before. She radiated an overwhelming vitality, and to Ah Dai’s surprise, she seemed quite similar to Xuan Yue. He was slightly taken aback. Despite his rigorous training over the past six months, he had been thinking about Xuan Yue constantly. He kept his deep longing for her buried deep within his heart. The words Xuan Ye had said that day had pierced his heart. Every time he thought of Xuan Yue, he would also remember the disdainful look on Xuan Ye’s face.
As Ah Dai stood there stunned, the girl crashed right into him. Since the corridor was narrow, she fell right into his arms amid screams. Ah Dai reflexively grabbed the girl to prevent her from falling.
Though the girl didn’t match Xuan Yue’s ethereal beauty, she was still very lovely. Finding herself in the arms of a stranger, she immediately blushed deeply. With a shove, she pushed Ah Dai away, scowling, "What are you doing? Who are you?" Her demeanor was so familiar, it left Ah Dai somewhat entranced.
"Hey, haven’t you seen a pretty girl before? Why are you staring at me? I’m asking you a question."
Only then did Ah Dai snap out of it. His face turned red. This girl’s temper was quite similar to Xuan Yue’s when he first met her. He awkwardly said, "Sorry, I need to pass by here."
The seven or eight youths chasing after the girl had caught up. They were all disciples Ah Dai hadn’t seen before. When the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang first issued the order to find Ah Dai, they were not on the mountain, they had only just returned a few months ago.
The leading youth, panting a bit, said, "Junior Martial Sister, are you trying to kill us with exhaustion? How could you not go when the Ancestor Master was looking for you? Hey, brother, which Martial Uncle or Martial Aunt is your Master?"
Ah Dai was surprised and muttered, "I’m Ah Dai, I haven’t been here long."
The youth nodded, not linking the boy to the one the Ancestor Master was looking for. He simply guessed that this dull young man must have just joined. He assumed a senior disciple’s attitude and said, "What are you doing here instead of practicing in broad daylight?" He then moved closer to the girl and whispered, "Junior Martial Sister, did he knock you down? Disciple, you should quickly apologize to the Junior Martial Sister."
Ah Dai responded immediately, quickly bowing and saying, "I’m sorry, Junior Martial Sister."
The girl’s eyes widened, as she massaged her aching shoulder and complained, "Who’s your Junior Martial Sister? You joined so late, you should be calling me Senior Martial Sister."
Ah Dai looked at the girl who appeared to be younger than him and mumbled, "Yes, Senior Martial Sister. Did I hurt you just now?"
The girl snorted, "Of course you did, it really hurts! So, how are you going to compensate me?"
Ah Dai seemed to be brought back to the Mage Guild when he first met Xuan Yue and she asked him to be her follower. His eyes revealed his longing and he didn’t respond.
"Hey, what’s wrong with you? I’m asking you a question. Tell me, how are you going to compensate me?" The girl put her hands on her hips, appearing brash. Her demeanor didn’t disgust Ah Dai, in fact, it felt very familiar. He smiled and said, "You tell me."
The girl glanced at the boys who had followed her and a cunning light flickered in her eyes. She slowly moved behind Ah Dai, speaking softly, "Let me see...what would be an appropriate compensation."
The seven or eight youths chasing her had all seem to enjoy the spectacle, with no one trying to intervene.
The girl had moved behind Ah Dai and suddenly laughed, "I’ve got it, you can help me deal with these chasers." As she finished, she kicked Ah Dai in the butt. In her opinion, that kick would send Ah Dai sprawling forward, blocking the way for her Senior Brothers, and allowing her to escape. However, she had no idea about Ah Dai’s actual strength.
Ah Dai was suddenly attacked, his True Qi naturally circulated within him, and a flash of light surrounded his body. The girl was flung back, much to her surprise. This was still under the circumstance where Ah Dai had quickly reduced his power when he realized it was the girl who had attacked him. Seeing the girl flung back, he reacted instantly, raising his right hand. A yellow light emerged, wrapping around the girl’s waist. With a gentle pull, Ah Dai brought the girl back into his arms.
