Chapter 1499: Chapter 164 Harry’s Story_2

Ah Dai nodded and said, "Her name is Xiao Huan, she’s the younger sister of a friend of mine. Her life has been full of hardships, and I was hoping your father could look after her."

Hasan scratched his head and said, "Look after her? Should be fine, both Dad and Mom are very hospitable. Come on, I’ll take you to meet my father. Recently, he’s been sleeping all the time, locking himself in the house and not coming out. Mom always scolds him for being lazy, though Dad’s worked hard his whole life, and he’s not young anymore. It’s time for him to take it easy. We brothers can handle the farm work just fine."

Ah Dai felt a twinge within his heart; he realized Harry must be preparing for the Four Great Sword Saints Competition in three months. A faint smile appeared on his lips, and he said, "Hasan, you’re really a filial son!"

Hasan brought Ah Dai and Xiao Huan to his home. As soon as they entered the door, he called loudly, "Dad, Ah Dai is here! Big Brother Ah Dai has come to visit."

Ah Dai was startled and quickly pulled Hasan back, saying, "Don’t call out, don’t disturb Uncle Harry’s rest." For a martial artist, quiet is essential during meditation; if disrupted, it’s easy to fall into inner turmoil. He feared Hasan might interrupt Harry’s cultivation.

"It’s alright." Harry’s voice came from inside the room, and he stepped out with a smile on his face.

Seeing Harry again, Ah Dai felt an inexplicable sense of closeness. He stepped forward and respectfully said, "Uncle Harry."

Harry sized up Ah Dai, a hint of concern flashing in his eyes. He said, "Ah Dai, how do you have the time to come here? Let’s go inside and talk. Hasan, go do some work. Tonight, borrow some wine from Uncle Red’s place; I want to properly host your Big Brother Ah Dai."

"Oh, got it." Hasan agreed cheerfully, glanced at Xiao Huan, and then turned to leave.

Ah Dai and Xiao Huan entered Harry’s room. Ah Dai said, "Uncle Harry, I’ve come this time to ask for your help. This young lady is my friend’s sister. My friend met with misfortune, and I was hoping she could find a peaceful life here with you. She’s just an ordinary girl and won’t cause you any trouble."

Harry looked Xiao Huan up and down, then smiled and said, "I’ve got room here; let her stay."

Xiao Huan bowed politely to Harry and said sweetly, "Thank you, Uncle. I’m good at household chores, and you can teach me farm work too. I won’t stay here for free."

Harry burst into laughter and said, "What a sweet little girl! Looks like Ah Dai really isn’t bringing me any trouble. Come, I’ll find a room for you." He led Ah Dai and Xiao Huan to the room where Mie Feng had previously stayed. "It’s a bit basic here; make do with it. If you need anything, just tell me. My wife might not be back until evening. She’s always wanted to have a daughter, and now her wish is fulfilled. She’ll definitely like you, so feel at ease staying here."

From Harry’s demeanor, Xiao Huan felt the warmth of a family. Her eyes reddened, and she choked back her tears, saying, "Thank you, Uncle. Xiao Huan will be on her best behavior."

Harry nodded and said, "You two must be tired from the journey. Rest for now. Ah Dai, come with me; I have something to discuss with you."

Ah Dai was slightly startled but nodded. Turning to Xiao Huan, he said, "You rest for now." With that, he left with Harry for his room.

After closing the door, a serious expression appeared on Harry’s face. Suddenly, he struck out with his palm toward Ah Dai’s chest. Ah Dai was slightly alarmed but did not dodge, knowing Harry wouldn’t harm him.

Harry’s withered palm emanated a green light as it pressed against Ah Dai’s chest. The internal energy was restrained yet powerful. Ah Dai clearly felt a warm surge of energy flow into his chest, circulating swiftly through his meridians before returning to Harry’s body. Harry frowned and said with a hint of reproach, "What’s going on with you? Why are your meridians so chaotic? Have you encountered a powerful adversary? There aren’t many experts capable of injuring you."

Ah Dai forced a bitter smile and shook his head, saying, "Uncle, I’m fine. The injuries in my body are more or less self-inflicted. I’ve been feeling down lately. Xiao Huan’s sister was very important to me, but she passed away... Sigh, why is it that everyone who’s close to me ends up leaving this world one by one? Could it be that I’m truly a harbinger of misfortune?"

Harry gave Ah Dai a meaningful look and said, "Let’s set that aside for now. You must quickly sort out the True Qi in your meridians; otherwise, you risk inner turmoil. Come." He pulled Ah Dai onto the bed. Although Ah Dai wasn’t in the mood to cultivate, he didn’t want to reject Harry’s kindness, so he sat cross-legged opposite him.

Harry extended his palms and said, "Let’s connect palms; I’ll help you." Feeling Harry’s concern, Ah Dai was deeply moved. He raised his hands and connected his palms with Harry’s. Harry said in a low voice, "Center your mind on oneness, focus on your Dantian, and eliminate distractions." Two streams of warm and surging energy flowed from Harry’s palms into Ah Dai’s body. Under the force of the pulsating and intense energy, Ah Dai’s meridians gradually became active. He took a deep breath, sank his consciousness into his Dantian, and began working together with Harry’s True Qi to smooth his chaotic meridians.

Harry’s Green Lotus Battle Aura was neutral in nature, characterized by its balance, harmony, and vastness. It was extremely well-suited for guiding regenerative True Qi. Though Ah Dai’s power already surpassed Harry’s, under Harry’s assistance, he controlled his internal Golden Body to systematically mend his blocked meridians and chaotic inner energy. Before long, he entered a state of deep meditation. Blue and white light enveloped both Ah Dai and Harry, and under the combined efforts of two Sword Saint Level experts, the blocked meridians were swiftly cleared. The True Qi within Ah Dai began to resume its regular flow.
