Chapter 1438: Chapter 151: Prayer to the Gods_2

Who knows how much time had passed — Mie Feng’s consciousness gradually became muddled. It was unknown how many times she had chanted the final character of the Prayer Charm. Suddenly, she stopped, her mind succumbing to exhaustion and plunging into deep sleep. All at once, a ray of golden light shone through the window. Mie Feng was entirely defenseless as the golden light shot into the center of her brow. Her body convulsed violently for a moment before gradually calming down. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Slowly, she rose from the bed. Her once dark pupils had turned into radiant gold. Those golden eyes brimmed with an expression of compassion and gentleness. Looking at Ah Dai’s face, she softly whispered, "Child, my pitiable child! How could I bear to see you in such dire peril? Thankfully, this young woman has poured her heart and soul into chanting the Prayer Charm. Otherwise, even I would have been powerless to help you! But... I cannot aid you too much. After all, this is something you must face yourself. Use your will and wisdom to resolve the challenges before you now." She gently raised her right hand, extending her index finger. Her fingertip touched Ah Dai’s brow and slowly trailed downward. With a flash of light, a golden symbol emerged from her fingertip, floated outward, then sank into Ah Dai’s brow. Ah Dai’s body shuddered as a stream of golden light coursed from his brow, trickling downward until disappearing into his Dantian. Retracting her finger, Mie Feng caressed Ah Dai’s cheek softly. Leaning closer, she kissed his forehead with tender care and murmured, "Child, everything depends on you now. You must muster your courage and overcome these trials. I must leave. One day, we shall reunite again." She rose effortlessly, her body landing on the bed once more in her original posture. Another flash of golden light occurred, and a strand of radiance emerged from Mie Feng’s brow, streaking like lightning out the window, vanishing as though nothing had ever transpired.

After a while, Mie Feng rubbed her hazy eyes, took a deep breath, and brought her consciousness back to the present. To her amazement, she noticed her body and spirit were imbued with an extraordinary sense of refreshment. All negativity had dissipated without a trace. Her gaze fell upon Ah Dai’s face — he seemed calm and at peace now. His expression no longer shifted, and his breathing was steady, as though he were asleep.

Mie Feng floated down from the bed, standing silently as she looked at Ah Dai lying there. She muttered softly, "No wonder so many people worship the Sky God. It appears divinity truly exists after all! Sky God, please bless Ah Dai. Let him wake up soon. Though he has killed many, they were all evildoers deserving their fate. He does not deserve punishment."

While unconscious, Ah Dai’s mind was entirely immersed within his inner world. The struggle between the evil aura and the Sacred Aura inherent in the True Qi raged fiercely, vying for control of his body. Amid the relentless clash of these two diametrically opposed energies, a faint yet pure Sacred Aura suddenly entered his body. Though the Sacred Aura was feeble, it possessed an unnatural purity. With its arrival, the True Qi gradually gained the upper hand and, bolstered by the steady flow of the Sacred Aura, began expelling the remnants of evil energy left behind by the Sword of Hades bit by bit. Control of his body slowly returned to Ah Dai. The thread-like rays of Sacred Aura were, in fact, born of Mie Feng’s devout chanting of the Prayer Charm. Although the malicious aura had been suppressed, Ah Dai’s internal injuries remained. Under the nurturing influence of the True Qi, his wounds slowly started to heal. By the time his consciousness awoke from deep sleep, he realized he seemed to be floating within a golden ocean. Wave upon wave of golden energy gently nourished his body. Glancing down at himself, Ah Dai discovered he was sitting cross-legged, entirely nude, immersed in this luminous sea. The life-infused, warm energy continuously washed over his spirit. What an incredibly soothing sensation! As his mind stirred, he was struck with astonishment — wasn’t this form he was perceiving his Golden Body within the Dantian? How had his consciousness been drawn into his Golden Body? Casting his gaze around, he saw countless golden streams branching off from the ocean, funneling the tidal energy through intricate pathways before circulating it back to the ocean.

Ah Dai pondered in bewilderment, What has happened to me? Why is this happening? Why has my consciousness ended up here inside my body? Gradually, he recalled all that had transpired earlier. Ah! He had executed the fifth move of the Hades Sword Technique, allowing the surging malevolent energy to invade his body and plunge him into unconsciousness. Testing control, he moved his hands and feet using his mind and realized that his current golden form operated just like his own physical body, responding seamlessly to his commands. With a mere thought, his golden figure drifted along the currents of the golden ocean, entering a broader stream. Altering his form instinctively to adapt to the river’s width, his golden body shrank to suit its dimensions. In what seemed like no time at all, he found himself back in the golden ocean, completing a full circuit through the river. Yet, to his dismay, he noticed certain portions of the river appeared damaged. Clarity dawned upon Ah Dai — the rivers represented his meridians, and the golden ocean symbolized the True Qi within his Dantian. Since his consciousness was manifesting within the Golden Body, his first priority should be to repair the meridians before seeking a way to return his consciousness to his physical form.

Resolving himself to action, he willed his golden body to enter the damaged river once more.
