Chapter 1433: Chapter 150 Church Crisis

At this moment, the apocalyptic strike from the assassins had finally gathered sufficient energy. Mie Yi took the lead, and under his command, the twelve assassins shouted in unison, "Kill—" A colossal black energy blade descended from the heavens along with the narrow swords they simultaneously swung downward, slashing towards Ah Dai, whose entire body was shrouded in a blue radiance, like a force capable of splitting heaven and earth.

Ah Dai let out a cold snort as the warehouse was plunged into complete darkness, where the black energy became invisible. Though Mie Yi could still sense the power of the apocalyptic strike, the energy his side unleashed seemed to be draining continuously. Meanwhile, the Sword of Hades in Ah Dai’s hand suddenly vanished. His black hair billowed upwards, and as he stretched out his arms amidst the raging energy, his outer garment turned to powder, revealing the Gigantic Spirit Snake Armor beneath. Ah Dai’s body trembled slightly, his blood-red eyes and flowing black hair made him appear disturbingly eerie. His figure became elusive, and within the warehouse’s darkness, a strange energy seemed to swell continuously. The energy rocked and surged, and the blackened space gradually morphed into an otherworldly blue hue. Mie Yi and the twelve assassins clearly saw the black energy blade they had unleashed suspended in midair, entirely unable to advance further. Rings of blue energy revolved around it continuously, progressively weakening the apocalyptic strike until it was only half its original size. The twelve assassins’ bodies were inexplicably immobilized and unable to move an inch.

As the leader of the apocalyptic strike, Mie Yi felt the helplessness most acutely. Though he did not know what technique Ah Dai had deployed, he understood that the young man before him, who called himself the Grim Reaper, was no longer someone the apocalyptic strike could defeat. A flash of cold light appeared in Mie Yi’s eyes, and he secretly thought to himself, "If we’re all going to die, I might as well preserve my own life!" Since he was the one controlling the apocalyptic strike, at that moment, Mie Yi let selfishness take over. He used his mental strength to abruptly recall the remnant energy of the apocalyptic strike and concentrate it around his own body. Propelled by the motion of energy, the blue radiance suddenly filled every corner of the warehouse, and the long-absent Evil Aura exploded with a thousandfold intensity.

"Boom—" The enormous energy surge caused the earth to tremble. Though the Wind Barrier of the warehouse was formidable, it couldn’t withstand such devastating energy. The entire warehouse roof vanished amidst the raging Evil Aura, leaving everything within the Netherworld shredded into powder by the Ultimate Evil Energy. The ground was riddled with dense, countless pits, and the warehouse was completely obliterated. Fortunately, due to the immense concentration of energy inherent to the Netherworld, its effects were compressed and bound to its domain, sparing the outside from destruction.

Outside, Mie Feng waited anxiously. Ah Dai had already entered the warehouse for half a day, and aside from the loud noise when he kicked the door open, she hadn’t heard any other sound. Typically, after eradicating the assassins at the Assassin’s Guild bases, Ah Dai would emerge quickly. Yet, this time, he’d lingered for so long that Mie Feng couldn’t help but feel uneasy. As she hesitated over whether to go inside and check, a powerful tremor emanated from beneath her feet. Shocked, Mie Feng leaped into the air by instinct, retreating to a safer distance away. Just as she withdrew past the courtyard walls, a sudden catastrophe unfolded. The entire earth seemed to boil and quake violently. A dark blue radiance surged skyward, followed by a deafening explosion. Suspended in mid-air, Mie Feng vividly witnessed the expansive warehouse within the courtyard being completely obliterated in an instant—it had utterly exploded. The massive shockwave demolished the three-stories-high courtyard walls, leaving them entirely collapsed. Smoke billowed upward, resembling a mushroom cloud stretching toward the heavens. A peculiar and oppressive atmosphere permeated the air, and the earth-shattering energy left Mie Feng’s heart trembling uncontrollably. She became the first witness to the devastating power of the Netherworld.

At this moment, Mie Feng felt no hatred or killing intent, only a relentless worry for Ah Dai. Unbothered by the floating dust in the air, she dashed madly toward the wreckage of the warehouse like someone possessed.

Indeed, the power of the Netherworld Energy was overwhelming. The warehouse structure had been entirely vaporized, and the smoke began to dissipate under the gentle breeze. As soon as Mie Feng rushed into the ruins, she felt a chilling, terrifying aura—an aura potent enough to herald death. She froze in place, turning to look toward the source of the dreadful aura. With the smoke thinning, she saw him—Ah Dai, shrouded entirely in Scale Armor. His crimson eyes gazed directly at her, and his entire body quivered slightly. His eyes had lost all signs of life, now consumed solely by the aura of death. Mie Feng recognized the resurgence of the Malevolent Aura within Ah Dai, intensifying far beyond the last instance she had witnessed. She tentatively called out, "Ah Dai, you..."

Suddenly, Ah Dai’s body moved, bolting like lightning toward her. Mie Feng’s heart surged with alarm; she discerned the bloodthirsty gleam in Ah Dai’s eyes—he was coming to kill her! Facing imminent danger, she swiftly gathered her battle energy, striking out both fists to confront Ah Dai head-on. However, Ah Dai did not dodge or change direction. Amid the explosive collision, Mie Feng’s punches landed square on his chest. Yet, to her horror, she realized her battle energy had no effect on Ah Dai—it was entirely neutralized by the faint gray energy cloaking his body. Under the intense impact, Mie Feng was sent flying, her figure soaring through the air and retreating backward. Ah Dai, however, did not relent. With a twist of his feet, his form darted forward like a specter. Extending his right hand, five streams of purple energy interlaced with a subtle gray brilliance flickered continuously at his fingertips, hurtling toward Mie Feng’s head. His energy had completely locked onto her, leaving her no room to escape. She watched helplessly as Ah Dai’s death-laden right hand closed in on her.
