Chapter 1430: Chapter 149: First Appearance of the Netherworld_2

Ah Dai spoke with hatred: "You will never understand, never comprehend. You filthy souls could never glimpse the true essence of martial arts. Today, I will kill you first and then head to the headquarters of the Assassin’s Guild to seek revenge on your master. Uncle Owen’s blood will not have been shed in vain; you will all join him in death."

Mie Yi sneered, "Is that so? Then I’ll have to see how you plan to make us accompany Hades in death." He slowly raised the Narrow Sword in his hand as an immense presence erupted from him. Following his lead, all the assassins raised their weapons, and for a moment, thick battle aura of various colors flickered around the warehouse. Blades glinting with cold light were ready to strike at any moment.

Ah Dai felt a heavy weight in his heart, the immense pressure nearly suffocating him. Despite his profound martial skill, he was ultimately human, and the combined strength of so many powerful assassins truly exceeded his own. He gripped the Sword of Hades tightly to his chest, waiting for the best opportunity to attack.

Mie Yi’s entire body radiated with a black glow; he shouted, "Attack." He and the six Prime Assassins beside him simultaneously launched a blade of black energy, seven strands of black energy instantly fused together in the air and charged towards Ah Dai like lightning – an absolute main offensive force of the assassins. Ah Dai clearly understood that the assault he faced upon entering was a combined attack from these seven. While Mie Yi and the seven launched their attack, the other assassins moved as well. They made the same movements, their Narrow Swords chopping down swiftly, dozens of battle auras of varying colors shot towards Ah Dai from all directions. The entire warehouse trembled slightly amid the turbulent energy.

Even if he only faced the seven led by Mie Yi, handling them would be difficult for Ah Dai, let alone facing the combined attack of so many assassins. The energy coming from all sides gave him no chance to dodge. However, Ah Dai was not panicked; Mie Yi saw a cruel smile hanging on the corner of Ah Dai’s mouth. A chill ran down Mie Yi’s spine as he realized something, but it was too late to change the course of the assassins’ attack. Just as the tremendous amount of energy was about to strike Ah Dai, his figure vanished from the spot.

"Boom————" The enormous sound caused the warehouse to tremble continuously, and the powerful attack from dozens of assassins blasted a huge pit with a diameter of tens of meters into the warehouse floor; five meters deep, it occupied almost one-third of the warehouse’s space. However, their powerful attack did not hit its intended target.

The thunderous noise reverberated within the warehouse, and amidst the sound, a cold voice arose, "First Style of Hades Sword Technique: Nether Flash — Heaven — Earth — Quake." The voice drifted through the air, filled with an incredibly cold Ultimate Evil Energy that appeared in the warehouse. All assassins, including the seven led by Mie Yi, shivered uncontrollably. A pale blue glow accompanied by a black silhouette flashed on the left platform of the warehouse; the glow was so beautiful, the blue hue seemed to contain the crystal clearness of the sky, as if it was excitedly screaming by itself.

The shadow flickered past, and five lives vanished just like that, falling to the Ultimate Evil edge of the Sword of Hades. Naturally, the wielder of this sword imbued with murderous intent was Ah Dai. As Mie Yi led his subordinates in their attack, Ah Dai understood that it was a force that could not be blocked head-on. Without any hesitation, he activated Goris’s Wish on his right wrist, and through Teleportation, he easily moved from the dangerous maelstrom, appearing precisely on the left platform. Ah Dai knew that a direct attack on Mie Yi and the others might not be effective and would lead to an encirclement by all assassins. Hence, he targeted the relatively weaker Stealth Killers. To Ah Dai’s surprise, the enemy was formidable; even though they were also Stealth Killers, the five he had slain were much stronger than those outside, nearing the strength of Mie Yi. Relying on their pure battle aura, they had even slowed down the speed of the First Style of Hades Sword Technique: Nether Flash, managing to take only five lives as his body slid by. Fortunately, the evil energy from Nether Flash was no longer enough to affect Ah Dai, and without the slightest pause, he exhaled a light purple battle aura which shot straight toward three other Stealth Killers just a short distance away. Behind him, the five whose throats had been slit by the Sword of Hades slowly collapsed to the ground, their bodies gradually dessicating.

Mie Yi’s scream was piercing, "Everyone spread out, don’t let him focus his attacks with the Sword of Hades." He had already strategized that if the first concentrated attack did not harm Ah Dai, he would engage all his subordinates in a war of attrition to exhaust Ah Dai’s strength. Even if Ah Dai used the Sword of Hades, he could not kill many at once. Human strength is always limited, and he believed that under such a siege from so many experts, Ah Dai could not possibly hold out to the end. But could his plan really succeed?

Upon receiving Mie Yi’s command, all assassins soared up and scattered, mobilizing their energy, ready to strike. Of course, this did not include the three under the siege of Ah Dai’s battle aura strands. Ah Dai did not pay any attention to the movements of the other assassins; the light purple battle aura strands enveloped all possible escape routes of the three Stealth Killers with a whizzing sound. These three, well trained and disciplined, did not panic when facing the powerful attack. Their Narrow Swords danced a dense screen of blades in an attempt to fend off Ah Dai’s assault. But how could their strength compare to that of Ah Dai, who had reached the prowess of a Sword Saint? The strands of battle aura in the air transformed, scattering suddenly from all sides like a celestial maiden spreading blossoms, bombarding the trio. As the strands changed, the sword screen woven by the Stealth Killers moved accordingly, and their defense was no longer as impenetrable as it was at the beginning. Ah Dai snorted coldly, and three solid strands of battle aura silently aimed straight for the three faces. The scattered battle aura strands vanished just as they were about to touch the sword screen. Caught off guard for a fraction of a second, the Stealth Killers were hesitant, and that brief moment determined their fate. With three soft sounds, the previously laid sword screen was significantly weakened and completely penetrated by the fifth phase Solid Battle Aura strands. Ah Dai didn’t need to look to know the outcome for the three; he leaped up, dodging three sword winds from behind. In truth, he could have directly killed the three Stealth Killers with brute force just now, but facing so many enemies, he chose to save his strength as much as possible.
