Chapter 1410: Chapter 145 Western Swordsman

As Ah Dai split the energy sphere, he was also numbed by its massive contained energy. He suddenly realized that if he continued to be overwhelmed by his opponent, there would be no chance of victory. The strength of the man in green even surpassed that of Judgment Chief Xuan Yuan. In a bid to regain the initiative, he decisively used the first Instant Teleportation of Goris’s Wish after cutting through the green light sphere. During the green-clad man’s moment of surprise, Ah Dai’s Lifechanging Sword was already slashing towards his head. For the first time, the man in green found himself on the defensive, experiencing a fear he hadn’t felt in nearly two decades. In a do-or-die moment, he didn’t have time to look back; the green battle aura lotus beneath him rapidly descended as he spontaneously drew his sword from his waist. A green glow streamed out like a chain, confronting Ah Dai’s Lifechanging Sword. The power of the two was closely matched: one deliberate in his actions, the other hastily responding. The outcome was immediate. A clash of green and purple light erupted, sending the green-clad man plummeting. With a heavy boom, he crashed into the ground, creating a large crater as he redirected the destructive energy from the Lifechanging Sword upon impact. Even so, his meridians were still somewhat shaken. On the other hand, buoyed by his advantage, Ah Dai was catapulted into the air by the man’s power but was hardly jostled. Without hesitation, Ah Dai began chanting the Spell of Dragon’s Blood, "With the blood of the Divine Dragon as the catalyst, open the gates of space and time." Although the Dragon’s Blood could no longer assist in his offense or defense, its storage feature remained intact. The black Xuan iron bow was now in Ah Dai’s grip. Seizing the moment as the man in green dissipated the Lifechanging energy, Ah Dai drew the bow fully, and a purple Lifechanging Burst Arrow appeared on the dark bowstring, his mind wholly focused on the recently steadied figure of the man in green. Trapped in the deep pit with nowhere to dodge, the man faced the immense pressure of the oncoming Lifechanging Arrow head-on.

"Stop!" the man in green shouted. Ah Dai was just about to release the bowstring when he heard the cry, and it was then he realized that the man was not his enemy. But he did not retract the Energy Arrow, eyeing the man in green intently and said coldly, "Have you admitted defeat?" Ah Dai couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement at the prospect of defeating such a formidable opponent.

The man in green shook his head and said, "Young man, while your Energy Arrow does exert considerable pressure on me, if you fire it, we will both end up injured. Indeed, you are powerful, but we are equals, and we are not enemies. I have no desire to bear a grudge against you." With a flick of his right hand, a glow of green light stood up—it was a Soft Sword, the legendary Divine Weapon that had been wrapped around the man’s waist. The sword, entwined with threads of green lightning, asserted his ability to fight back, and his significant strength was highlighted by the green lotus-shaped energy. Ah Dai knew that without Goris’s Wish, he would never have gained the upper hand so quickly. The man in green was telling the truth: despite the boost from Xuan iron bow, the arrow might not defeat the man, especially considering his own archery skills...

Seeing Ah Dai still intent on attacking him, the man in green thought he was reluctant to let go. He then removed the green mask from his face and said, "Ah Dai, see who I am."

Ah Dai looked intently into the pit below, taken aback. The man in green he had fought to a standstill was none other than Uncle Harry from Hak Village. His honest face carried a hint of a smile as he gazed intently at Ah Dai. With no thought of victory left, Ah Dai was overwhelmed with surprise and quickly dissipated the energy in his hand and returned the Xuan iron bow to the Dragon’s Blood. He floated down to the edge of the crater and exclaimed, "Uncle Harry, how can it be you?" Uncle Harry floated up from the pit and landed beside Ah Dai, looking at him with admiration and said, "Truly, the hero is a youth! Who would have thought that the Tian Gang Sword Sect would produce such a talent like you."

Ah Dai scratched his head and said, "Uncle Harry, how do you possess such high-level martial arts, and how could you..." He never imagined that this ordinary villager from Hak Village would possess a strength not inferior to his own. Harry smiled slightly and said, "I know you must be curious. Now that I have revealed my true self, I will naturally tell you. Mie Feng, you’ve been watching for quite some time; it’s time for you to come out. Since you’re eager to hear, join Ah Dai and listen to my story." At his level of awareness, very little went unnoticed; he could keenly sense every rustle of the wind or twitch of the grass around him.

Ah Dai’s attention had been fixed on Harry, so he hadn’t noticed Mie Feng’s arrival. Only now did he spot her, several hundred meters away, carefully concealed. Although Mie Feng’s speed couldn’t match that of Ah Dai and Harry, she had deduced that they were heading in the same direction, so she had followed behind and arrived near them just as Ah Dai and Harry had begun their second round of combat, watching their astonishing unique skills from the shadows. Hearing Harry call out to her, she knew she could no longer hide and floated forward, landing in front of Ah Dai and Harry. A hint of admiration surfaced in her normally cold eyes.
