Chapter 1408: Chapter 144 Trouble in the Small Village_4

The figure in green stopped and floated five meters above the ground, his hoarse voice rose again, "Remember, I am the guardian deity of Hak Village, and no one is allowed to intrude here." Having said that, the figure in green cocked his head towards Ah Dai and Mie Feng, as two substantial gazes shot over like lightning. Mie Feng remained unaffected, but Ah Dai’s body trembled violently as if struck by electricity. He clearly felt the disturbance coming from spiritual power aimed at himself, was this a challenge towards him? Shock flashed through his heart, and he stood up from the rooftop, staring at the figure in green suspended in the air.

With a flash, the figure in green suddenly charged towards a light cavalry commander of the Empire of Sunset City. As the figure passed by the commander, the latter was flung into the air, crashing into the soldiers who arrived with him, alive or dead unknown. The hoarse voice echoed in Ah Dai’s ears, "Come on, kid, let’s both make a move and see who can take down more."

Ah Dai snorted coldly, showing no weakness as he floated up, enveloped in white light, and charged towards the group from the Empire of Sunset City. Laughter filled with hoarseness came from the air as the blue silhouette plunged into the crowd from the other side. Ah Dai would never show any mercy to the Dark Forces, especially after hearing what Mie Feng had said, his killing intent surged. Hair-thin strands of pale blue Solid Battle Aura fluttered out, each thread appearing soft, yet filled with the breath of death, easily penetrating the helmets and skulls of the soldiers. Wherever Ah Dai passed, the soldiers of Sunset City couldn’t react in time before another small blood hole appeared in their heads. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

The appearance of Ah Dai and the figure in green left the already terrified villagers at a loss, only able to watch helplessly as the soldiers surrounding them kept falling.

In the midst of his frenzied slaughter, Ah Dai felt immensely relieved, as if the frustration of the past days had all but vanished. Suddenly, his body spun rapidly, drifting towards the soldiers like a tornado. Within that grey whirlwind, wisps of blue threads poured out, taking away one soul after another.

Finally, it all ended, Ah Dai stood in place with blood red eyes, looking at the large number of people lying around him, the killing intent in his eyes flickering, seemingly still not satisfied.

The blue figure floated over and landed in front of Ah Dai, his voice much deeper, "Kid, you are too bloodthirsty." About five hundred light cavalrymen, nearly four hundred died under the changing Solid Battle Aura threads of Ah Dai, the rest were subdued by the blue figure. Ah Dai looked coldly at the figure in green, "Don’t you know that evil must be eradicated completely? For these fellows representing the Dark, I naturally will not show any mercy; I don’t want to give them another chance to come here."

The figure in green spoke loudly: "Villagers, these soldiers from the Empire of Sunset City wanted to capture you and make you slaves, but they have received their due punishment. The Light and Dark River by our village flows directly into the Dark Empire. Please throw these people into the river and send them back to their homeland. As for the horses, please remove their saddles and bridles and let them return to nature." After his speech, he turned to Ah Dai, "No matter the reason, excessive killing is never good. Kid, you still seem to be craving for more; come, let me see just how advanced your skills are." With that, he rose into the air and drifted towards the river. Ah Dai, without showing weakness, wrapped in white Solid Battle Aura, accelerated suddenly and chased after him.

The blue figure moved so fast that even with Ah Dai’s speed, he could barely keep up. The two, one after another, advanced through the wilderness like shooting stars chasing the moon. After advancing about ten kilometers, the blue figure stopped, floating in mid-air against the backdrop of blue Battle Aura. Ah Dai stopped twenty meters in front of him, just about to speak when the figure in green turned into a blur, rushing towards him. Without any hesitation, Ah Dai’s Solid Battle Aura spiraled out with great force, heading straight for the blue silhouette. The violent Battle Aura collided head-on with the blue figure’s body in a thunderous explosion, and with that, Ah Dai was thrown into the air, unexpectedly at a disadvantage without preparation. The Battle Aura released by the figure in green had tremendous penetrating power, putting Mie Feng’s abilities far below his. The spear-like True Qi caused Ah Dai much trouble, and even with his full force True Qi, he could only barely neutralize it.

The figure in green did not give Ah Dai a chance to catch his breath, his body rushing forward rapidly, countless blue shadows surged towards Ah Dai from all directions, each blue light shadow so nimble, a skill that Ah Dai did not possess. Ah Dai’s body trembled; the fierce attack of the opponent had triggered the wild fighting spirit in his heart. A half-meter diameter blue Solid Energy Shield appeared on Ah Dai’s right hand, his eyes shot out cold light, without a trace of panic, sensing the sequence of the opponent’s attack with his mind, his right arm created shadows in the air, and the blue light shield formed an impenetrable barrier. Violent energy explosions echoed non-stop, and as the blue figure and Ah Dai’s grey figure passed by each other, more than a dozen blue-green orbs exploded in the air, the spreading energy forming a shockwave that scattered rapidly. Within several hundred meters where the two were fighting, all living creatures met with catastrophe, completely shattered by the violent airstream, leaving a vast and irregular crater on the ground.
