Chapter 1320: Chapter 126 Yue Ji Joins_3

Yue Ji watched the sudden clash between the two, her expression rapidly changing. The enormous Flame Dragon and the cyan Energy Shield were both powerful Magic she had never seen before; she had always considered Kino and Olivia merely Low-Level Mages and hadn’t taken them seriously. Only now did she realize that these two young Mages, around her age, possessed significant strength.

Ah Dai said to Xuan Yue, "Brother, who do you think will win?"

Xuan Yue smiled and responded, "There won’t be a clear winner or loser. In terms of sheer ability, Kino is probably stronger, but he might be holding back to avoid injuring Olivia. Hence, he only used a sixth-level Attack Magic, while Olivia, with the boosting power of the Staff of Wind God, is not inferior in terms of skill. Her massive Stacking Wind Shield created by the staff likely can’t be broken by the Flame Dragon. Nevertheless, Olivia probably won’t take advantage of the situation to strike back. So, I say, neither can win over the other. Big brother, even though they quarrel every day, I can clearly feel that a deep friendship has formed between them over time. Let them enjoy the duel, then we can continue on our journey."

Yue Ji said, "But their Magic Power is so great, can there really be no mistakes? They shouldn’t be just ordinary high-level Mages, right?"

Xuan Yue chuckled lightly and replied, "Sister Yue Ji, don’t worry at all. Although Kino is impulsive, he knows his limits well. Besides, his attack can’t breach Olivia’s defense. As for their level of Magic, you can just ask Kino later. I think he won’t hide it from you." She leaned in close to Yue Ji and whispered, "Big sister, Kino is quite naive, you know. You saw his reaction when he first saw you. If you don’t mind, he would make a great partner."

Seeing how close Xuan Yue was, Yue Ji blushed and retorted softly, "Don’t talk nonsense. I would never fall for such a silly boy. If I were to marry, I’d marry a powerful Mage like you! Hee hee." Hearing this, Xuan Yue glanced at Ah Dai unconsciously and thought: What’s wrong with being silly? Ah Dai is great, isn’t he?

By now, Kino’s Flame Dragon had been summoned. The air rippled like water due to the appearance of the Fire Dragon. Eyes wide open and with a pinch gesture, Kino commanded, "Go." The giant Fire Dragon spiraled into the air, heading towards Olivia with its fangs and claws. Though this Magic was a level weaker than Gorisong’s Purple Flame Soaring Dragon, the Fire Dragon swiftly reached Olivia under Kino’s control sweeping towards Olivia’s nine Clones. Olivia was startled; he hadn’t expected Kino’s control over Magic to be this strong, handling a sixth-level spell as if it were an extension of his limb. He hurriedly recited the Spell, rapidly retracting the Stacking Wind Shield, and his nine Clones began to flicker quickly, dodging the Fire Dragon’s lash.

Kino slid his hands through the air continuously, directing the Fire Dragon to tumble in the skies under his command. No matter how Olivia defended, the Fire Dragon didn’t touch his Wind Shield but kept sweeping its mighty waves of Fire Energy towards the multiple Clones. As the Fire Dragon was huge, even Olivia, though quick, had some of his Clones hit by each of Kino’s strikes. Clones, though formless and created by the Staff of Wind God, grew fainter each time they were scorched by Fire Energy. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Xuan Yue expressed her surprise, "I didn’t expect Brother Kino to play this trick, relentlessly chasing Olivia with the Flame Dragon. Olivia is at a huge disadvantage now. His Wind Shield has no offensive capabilities; it can only defend constantly. Even shielding one body completely, let alone nine Clones, has its limits. If this continues, Olivia will be at a disadvantage, and his Clones will eventually disappear due to excessive energy consumption. He doesn’t have the time to use Attack Magic anymore."

Yue Ji watched the two fighters in the arena, mesmerized by the spectacular Fire Dragon and the elusive Clones, feeling waves within her heart—this was true power! Comparing herself to them, she felt significantly inferior. The boy named Kino, who normally seemed foolish, but when in action, appeared majestic. If not for the residual blood on his nose, Yue Ji would hardly believe that he was the same shy boy who couldn’t speak in her presence. It was true—appearances could be deceiving!

The duel in the arena had reached a fever pitch. Since Olivia had already used a Stacking Wind Shield, his Magic Power no longer allowed him to use stacking for Attack Magic. In constant evasion, the Divine Power contained in the Staff of Wind God kept weakening; precisely speaking, it was Olivia’s Magic Power being continuously drained by the Flame Dragon, reducing the nine Clones to just six. However, Kino’s Flame Dragon showed no sign of stopping. Under Kino’s control, it kept launching wave after wave of attacks, putting Olivia increasingly under pressure.

Ah Dai, watching their struggle, shook his head resignedly and shouted, "Stop fighting, or you might not have the strength to travel. Stop it now."
