Chapter 1302: Chapter 122 Decisive Victory_3

Yue Ji giggled and said, "I’m just checking to see if he’s been slacking off these past few years. Hmm, seems like his martial arts are not bad! Ah Dai, we should have a match when we get the chance." Her gaze unintentionally fell on Xuan Yue, and she couldn’t help frowning. She grabbed Xuan Yue’s shoulder and said, "Sister Yue Yue, what have you done to yourself, looking like a boy."

Xuan Yue was nearly scared out of her wits by her remarks, her complexion changed, and she forcibly restrained her accelerating heartbeat, saying awkwardly, "You, you must be Sister Yue Ji. I’m not Yue Yue, I’m Yue Yue’s elder brother Xuan Re. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Wow, your hand is so heavy, can you be a little lighter?" She wasn’t sure if Yue Ji had truly seen through her disguise, so she had to do her best to cover it up.

Yue Ji released her hand and exclaimed, "So you’re not Yue Yue! You do look quite alike, uh, I get it now, you must be her twin brother, right?"

Xuan Yue sighed with relief inwardly, slightly gasping for breath, "You could even guess that, you’re really amazing."

Moon Scar said, "Little sister, stop causing trouble, come sit down. I’m just catching up with Brother Ah Dai. You’re not young anymore, yet still so willful, it’s no wonder..."

Yue Ji angrily retorted, "No wonder what? No wonder I can’t get married, is that it? I just don’t want to marry, hmph. Ah Dai, tell me, am I pretty or not?"

Ah Dai was startled; he dared not offend Yue Ji and quickly responded, "Pretty, very pretty."

Yue Ji said, "See? I don’t want to just marry anyone. If I’m to marry, it has to be someone who can protect me. What have you all been talking about? Let me hear it."

Moon Scar seemed to get a little angry at Yue Ji’s boasting, he said sternly, "Little sister, quiet down. We have guests here."

Yue Ji was taken aback and turned her attention to Kino and Olivia. Olivia smiled slightly and said, "Hello, Miss Yue Ji. I am the Wind Magician Olivia." After seeing Yue Ji, he had silently compared her in his mind with the Yajin Tribe Clan Leader Di Ya. In terms of appearance, Yue Ji fell short a bit, but the wildness and heroism she embodied were something Di Ya lacked, each prevailing in their own aspects.

Kino also stood up. Since Yue Ji entered the room, his gaze had never left her. Her delicately curved figure, the curly red hair, so captivating – Kino’s honest face flushed red, he bowed his head and did not dare meet Yue Ji’s gaze, muttering, "Hello, Miss Yue Ji, I am the Fire Mage Kino."

Yue Ji’s gaze swept past Olivia’s face. She wasn’t interested in Olivia’s handsome, elegant and polite demeanor, whereas Kino’s shyness seemed amusing to her she teased, "So men can blush too! Big brother, look, and you said I can’t get married. His face turns red just looking at me."

Kino wished there was a hole in the ground he could crawl into, his heartbeat quickened, and he was too embarrassed to speak. Moon Scar said annoyedly, "Alright, Brother Kino is an honest man, don’t you bully him."

Yue Ji leaned towards Kino and smiled, "Did I bully you?" The faint scent from her body entered Kino’s nose, and he felt a sudden warmth in his head, looking at the delicate face close at hand, he repeatedly said, "No, no. It’s my own fault."

Yue Ji chuckled and said, "You look so funny when you blush! Now that we’ve got you magicians on our side, we’re even more confident of dealing with those bastards who dare to challenge us. They call themselves the Overlord Mercenary Group, we’ll turn them into turtles to relieve my anger. Ah Dai, you will help us, right?"

Ah Dai, seeing Kino’s reaction, became very apprehensive, afraid that Yue Ji would shift her target to him and he quickly said, "Of course, we were just discussing strategies with Brother Moon Scar. Brother Xuan Re is right; we will do our utmost."

Moon Scar hesitated, as this was about the fate of the thousands in the Moon Scar Mercenary Corps; he naturally couldn’t make a hasty decision. In his heart, he always believed that two people against five hundred was an impossible victory. Yue Ji, seeing her older brother’s hesitation, asked, "What have you talked about? How are we going to deal with those bastards?"

Moon Scar sighed and said, "Brother Xuan Re suggests that he and Brother Ah Dai will fight together against the opposing force in a group battle."

Yue Ji was shocked and looked at Ah Dai and Xuan Yue in disbelief, "You’re not joking, right?"

Xuan Yue said, "Of course we’re not joking, we believe in our strength. Sister Yue Ji, you can rest assured."

Yue Ji suddenly stood up from her seat, eyes shining with excitement, she exclaimed loudly, "Good, that’s what I call audacious, I like it. Ah Dai, if you really can defeat them with just the two of you, then I will marry you. What do you say?" Seeing the shocked expressions on Ah Dai and Xuan Yue’s faces, she giggled and added, "Just kidding. You’ve got Sister Yue Yue, how could you possibly want me?"

Ah Dai finally breathed a sigh of relief and said helplessly, "Big sis, if you keep this up, I might be scared to death before we even start the group battle."

Moon Scar glared at Yue Ji and said, "Brother Ah Dai, I think we mustn’t take this matter lightly. It’s too dangerous if it’s just the two of you fighting. Let’s stick to our original plan for the group battle. If we lose, it’s not too late for you to act in the single combat."
