Chapter 1289: Chapter 119 Soul Magic_4

Di Ya led everyone to the grand hall of the residence, which was decorated in an antique style. Directly facing the main entrance, a landscape painting enveloped in mist hung on the wall, beneath which stood two large wicker chairs with a tea table positioned in the center, holding a copper incense burner. Below the principal seat, eight neatly arranged wicker chairs flanked both sides, each pair of chairs accompanied by a small wooden table just like the others. This was the place where the Yajin Tribe conducted their meetings. Di Ya walked to the main seat at the forefront, placed her oil lamp beside the incense burner, and gestured for Ah Dai and the four Elders to be seated, suggesting, "Please, take a seat."

The four Elders settled to the right, opposite Ah Dai and his companions, as Di Ya eventually took her seat in the principal chair. She gently clapped her hands twice. Two maids walked in from the back of the hall carrying trays, evidently well-prepared. They placed a tea cup next to each individual. The seven days of unconsciousness left Ah Dai and his comrades desperately hungry and thirsty, none refraining, they lifted their tea cups, opened the lids, and a fragrant aroma hit them. Surprisingly, Ah Dai recognized the scent—it was the same Amber Dew they had once drunk at the Golden Jade Building.

Di Ya stated, "This is Amber Dew produced by the Golden Jade Building; it’s nourishing and invigorating. My apologies for the troubles you’ve faced these days, please feel free to enjoy. It will benefit your health."

After a cup of Amber Dew, the warm sensation was soothing, and Ah Dai and others felt much more comfortable. It was Kino’s first time tasting something so exquisite, and his eyes couldn’t hide his amazed delight, seeming eager for more.

Xuan Yue set down her tea cup, looking towards Elder Tian Luo, she prompted, "You may speak now."

Elder Tian Luo nodded slightly, signaling Di Ya with his eyes. Taking a deep breath, Di Ya was still quite shaken upon learning the identities of Ah Dai and others from Elder Tian Luo. Trying to steady her emotions, she bowed slightly and apologized, "Once again, I apologize for my previous stubbornness. Please forgive me."

Xuan Yue replied, "All is in the past. For the sake of Prophet Pu Lin of the Pu Yan Tribe, we won’t dwell on it. Besides, you spared our lives, showing mercy." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Di Ya looked at Xuan Yue, a flicker of surprise in her eyes, as Elder Tian Luo had not revealed Xuan Yue’s gender to her; she had perceived Xuan Yue as an attractive church official. Xuan Yue’s display of formidable strength during the conflict with the four elders had left a deep impression on Di Ya, especially her resilience in refusing surrender. Di Ya smiled faintly and said, "Please know, you are here because I wish to discuss an important matter. As you might be aware, the Yajin Tribe’s rise has been swift. A thousand years ago, my ancestor was a Noble in the Empire of Tian Jing. Due to various reasons, he settled in the lands of the Yajin Tribe. Through generations of hard work, the Yajin Tribe has achieved its current stature. I was shocked to hear from Elder Tian Luo that a catastrophe affecting all of humanity may loom over the continent. As part of humanity, the Yajin Tribe is keen to help prevent this disaster. Should you face any difficulties in the future, we will support you unreservedly. I hope you will accept our offer, that is all I have to say."

Xuan Yue slightly furrowed her brows, sensing the weight behind Di Ya’s casual delivery and asked, "Is this support without any conditions?"

Di Ya nodded, "Yes, it is unconditional. We are also aware of the Pu Yan Tribe’s tragedies and deeply sympathize. After discussing with the four elders, we’ve agreed to support you like we did the Pu Yan Tribe. Tian Yuan Continent is our human homeland, and any spirited individual wouldn’t want to see it succumb to disaster. I not only hope for the Yajin Tribe to thrive but also for the human society to remain prosperous and stable. Please accept our sincerity."

Ah Dai, moved by Di Ya’s earnest gaze, felt his spirits rise, though he never saw himself as a Savior, yet he did feel a surge of enthusiasm, "Di Ya Clan Leader, Prophet Pu Lin once said the millennium disaster of the continent is inevitable. Given your sincerity, how could we not accept? Though our strength is modest, we will give our all when necessary."

Elder Tian Luo added, "Ah Dai, our intentions are clear; we hope you’ll remember that the Yajin Tribe will always be your ally, which is enough. Don’t underestimate yourselves too much; with your collective strength, you four can face anyone. We barely won that day; had you persisted a bit longer, we would have been the ones to collapse. You all are still young with much room to grow. You should focus more on cultivating your spirits when possible. Your backgrounds connect you with the four great powers: the church, Tian Gang Sword Sect, the continental Mage Guild, and Tian Jing Mage Guild. These powers will be your greatest assets in times of trouble. Learn to leverage them, and you can amass significant strength to help humanity overcome its trials. That said, we’ve spoken our piece; you’ve already been delayed long in the Yajin Tribe, and now you are free to leave; no one will hinder you again."
